Doug Martin RB | LV
Raiders' Doug Martin: Dealing with knee injury
Martin has a knee injury and is uncertain to play Sunday against the Steelers, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Coach Jon Gruden said the injury inspired Oakland's signing of C.J. Anderson on Tuesday, though the team is hopeful Martin can avoid missing game action. Wednesday's practice report will provide the next hint about Martin's progress as the Raiders prepare to face a Steelers defense ranked 12th in yards per carry allowed (4.2) and eighth in rushing yards per game allowed (100.4) this season. Injury woes aside, the matchup favors pass-catching back Jalen Richards more than Anderson and/or an available Martin.

John Kelly RB | CLE
Rams' John Kelly: Could take No. 2 gig
Kelly will compete with Justin Davis for snaps as the Rams' backup running back while Malcolm Brown (clavicle) is unavailable, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.
A rookie sixth-round pick, Kelly has been a healthy scratch all season while Davis has strictly played special teams. Kelly was more impressive of the two during the exhibition slate, but Davis has the advantage of being in his second year with the Rams. Of course, Brown's indefinite absence doesn't have much impact on the game plan for Week 14 in Chicago, seeing as Todd Gurley has played 85 percent of the offensive snaps this season. It could come into play Week 17 if the Rams don't have anything to play for and decide to rest key players.

Gus Edwards RB | LAC
Ravens' Gus Edwards: Expects to play Week 14
Edwards is continuing to receive treatment for a lingering ankle injury but believes he'll be available for Sunday's game at Kansas City, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
The Ravens swapped out Kenneth Dixon (knee) for Alex Collins (foot) as residents of injured reserve, but Edwards remained the lead runner in this backfield Week 13 in Atlanta. Over his three impressive performances in a row, Edwards has recorded 61 carries for 315 yards and one touchdown. However, he was seen limping off the field near the end of Sunday's game, increasing the likelihood that he will be included on the injury report this week. Wednesday's version will reveal Edwards' level of practice participation.

Brandon Bolden RB | LV
Dolphins' Brandon Bolden: Picks up first carry
Bolden gained 10 yards on a single carry during Sunday's 21-17 win over Buffalo.
Despite some solid supporting performances in years past for division-rival New England, Bolden hadn't cracked the stat sheet until Sunday. Miami simply doesn't have many carries to go around in Miami and a lot of hungry backs to feed including the ageless Frank Gore and younger options such as Kenyan Drake and, to a much lesser extent, rookie Kalen Ballage. Bolden coming out big against his old Patriots team Sunday would be a nice story, but his usage this season and the crowded stable make that seem unlikely.

Mark Walton RB | MIA
Bengals' Mark Walton: Gets one carry
Walton earned one 10-yard carry during Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Broncos
The carry snapped a three-game streak in which the rookie had not recorded a single touch. Part of that can be attributed to the fact that the Bengals started a first-time starter on Sunday, and in a related point, the running game was working for them. Walton figures to continue to get a little more action with Jeff Driskel under center for the remainder of the season, but as he's behind both Joe Mixon and Giovani Bernard, he isn't likely to see a much bigger opportunity to enjoy Sunday's matchup against a middle-of-the-road Chargers run defense.

Corey Clement RB | ARI
Eagles' Corey Clement: Totals 74 yards in win
Clement carried five times for 27 yards and caught all three of his targets for 47 yards in Monday night's 28-13 win over Washington.
Clement continued to fill the role of change-of-pace back behind Josh Adams and saw 23 snaps on the day, just one fewer than the previous week, even with Darren Sproles returning to the fold. The 24-year-old was also the only running back targeted in the passing game. Clement has reached at least 74 total yards in each of his last two games despite seeing no more than eight touches in either contest. He'll be hard-pressed to keep the streak going as Sproles' role in the offense should increase going forward and the Eagles face off against Dallas' fifth-ranked defense against running backs Week 14.

C.J. Anderson RB | LAR
Raiders' C.J. Anderson: Heading to Oakland
Anderson signed a contract with the Raiders on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Anderson visited the Chiefs on Monday, but the team opted to bring back Charcandrick West instead, leaving Anderson to join their AFC West opponent. Doug Martin has served as the Raiders' primary running back since Marshawn Lynch (groin) was placed on injured reserve, with Jalen Richard serving as a pass-catching alternative. Martin has run well enough with 445 yards and a 4.2 YPC, though he has lost a pair of fumbles in only 105 carries, and how Anderson mixes into the backfield remains uncertain.

D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
Texans' D'Onta Foreman: Comes off PUP list
The Texans have activated Foreman (Achilles) off their PUP list.
Foreman adds to the 9-3 Texans' running back depth, but John McClain of the Houston Chronicle suggests Foreman is no lock to be active on gamedays out of the gate, given the health and overall effectiveness to date of Lamar Miller and Alfred Blue. The Texans are tied for second in the NFL with 140.8 rushing yards per game.

James Conner RB | ARI
Steelers' James Conner: Dealing with ankle issue
Coach Mike Tomlin relayed Tuesday that Conner has a sprained ankle that is more significant than originally thought, ESPN.com reports.
Previous reports indicated that the running back was dealing with a leg contusion, but that's been narrowed down to an ankle issue. Given how quickly the running back was ruled out this week, his absence could extend beyond Week 14. The Steelers will thus turn to Jaylen Samuels and Stevan Ridley to head their backfield Sunday against the Raiders in some form of time share, with Trey Edmunds in reserve.
