  • Colts' Jonathan Williams: Gets two carries

Williams had two carries for one yard in Sunday's loss to Miami.

Williams played seven snaps on offense as he got time with Jordan Wilkins suffering an ankle injury. Williams could be active again next week, but he'll need an injury to Marlon Mack or Nyheim Hines to get significant touches.

  • Colts' Nyheim Hines: Seven touches in Sunday's loss

Hines had three carries for 14 yards and four receptions for 30 yards on seven targets in Sunday's loss to Miami.

Hines saw an increase in targets with Brian Hoyer at quarterback as he didn't throw much down field. With Jordan Wilkins hurting his ankle in the game, Hines could see more snaps next week against Jacksonville, but he's still having a smaller secondary role behind starter Marlon Mack.

  • Vikings' Alexander Mattison: Has 52 yards rushing Sunday

Mattison had eight carries for 52 yards and one reception for two yards on his only target in Sunday's win at Dallas.

Mattison is the clear backup to Dalvin Cook, but he was impressive in his limited work as the Vikings stuck to the ground game (36 carries for 153 yards overall). Mattison continues to have an impressive rookie season (6.5 yards per carry) but isn't getting enough carries for viable fantasy value in most formats. He's a backup worth rostering, though, as he could have significant value as a starter should Cook get hurt.

  • Benny Snell RB | DET

Steelers' Benny Snell: Looking sketchy for Thursday

Coach Mike Tomlin said Monday that he's not optimistic Snell (knee) will be available for Thursday's contest against the Browns, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Snell is working to recover from surgery to trim his meniscus performed shortly after the Steelers' Oct. 28 win over Miami. The rookie fourth-round pick was given an estimated recovery timeline of 2-to-3 weeks, and Thursday's contest still falls within the latter range of that period. In the event that Snell is forced to miss a third straight game, Trey Edmunds will once again serve as the No. 3 option in Pittsburgh's backfield.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Team encouraged after X-rays

Coach Pat Shurmur said Monday that Barkley is feeling much better after the running back was banged up in the aftermath of Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Jets.

The Giants haven't specified a particular injury for Barkley, who was sent in for an X-ray following the Week 10 loss. According to Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post, Shurmur expressed that he was pleased with the results of Barkley's examination and indicated that the Giants have no plans to shut down their franchise back for the season. Since returning from a three-week absence due to a high right ankle sprain, Barkley has struggled to find open running room over the Giants' past four games, gaining just 165 yards on 64 rushes (2.6 YPC). A Week 11 bye should prove helpful to Barkley while he looks to rest up and regain health ahead of the Giants' next game Nov. 24 versus the Bears.

  • James Conner RB | ARI

Steelers' James Conner: Trending toward playing Thursday

The Steelers are optimistic Conner (shoulder) will be available to play in Thursday's game in Cleveland, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Conner's separated right shoulder has prevented him from playing in the Steelers' last two games, but the team believes that he'll be available in some capacity in Week 11 if he can avoid any setbacks on the health front within the next few days. Given the quick turnaround for the matchup with the Browns, Conner won't have much time in practice to prove his health, so he could be subject to a restricted workload if he gains clearance to play. His availability in any capacity would still be a welcome sight for the Steelers' ground game, which averaged a season-low 1.6 yards per carry (on 27 attempts) in Sunday's 17-12 win over the Rams.

  • Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Stuffed in loss

Elliott rushed 20 times for 47 yards and had two catches for 16 yards in Sunday's 28-24 loss to Minnesota.

The Vikings had a clear gameplan to not let Elliott beat them, and they executed it to perfection. It was a bit surprising that coach Jason Garrett did not find more creative ways to get his star back the ball in open space (just three targets). This was easily Elliott's worst fantasy performance this season, as he was at least able to hit pay dirt the three other occasions in which he did not rush for at least 100 yards. Zeke will have an excellent opportunity to bounce back in the Cowboys' next outing against a Lions defense that ranks 27th against the run.

  • Dalvin Cook RB | DAL

Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Carries offense in big way

Cook rushed 26 times for 97 yards and a touchdown and caught seven passes for 86 receiving yards in Sunday's 28-24 win over the Cowboys.

Cook didn't have very many holes to run through against the Cowboys' front seven (3.7 yards per carry), but he was able to put up a huge fantasy line through sheer volume and a trip to the end zone (10th rushing touchdown of the season). The NFL's leading rusher also led his team in receiving, tying his season high of 86 receiving yards. Cook was the clear-cut winner in a star running back showdown with Ezekiel Elliott (63 total yards), and the former is making a strong case for fantasy MVP with 1,415 total yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns through 10 contests. Next week's opponent, the Denver Broncos, have a middle-of-the-pack run defense, so Cook should be near the top of the list of projected scores for Week 11.

  • Packers' Jamaal Williams: Splits carries vs. Panthers

Williams carried 13 times for 63 yards during Sunday's 24-16 win over the Panthers.

Williams equaled Aaron Jones' number of carries, averaging a respectable 4.8 yards per tote against a solid Panthers defense. He came in with receiving touchdowns in four consecutive games but wasn't targeted at all for the first time this season. Williams remains a notable part of the Green Bay offense and should continue as such against the 49ers after the team's bye week.

  • Panthers' Christian McCaffrey: Totals 141 scrimmage yards

McCaffrey carried 20 times for 108 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 24-18 loss to the Packers. He also caught six of seven targets for an additional 33 yards.

McCaffrey excelled against a beatable Green Bay run defense, averaging 5.4 yards per carry while delivering his sixth 100-yard rushing performance of the season. He also finished third on the team in receptions and fourth in targets, though his 33 receiving yards were below his typical output. McCaffrey's 14th touchdown of the season ties him with Aaron Jones for the most in the NFL, and he'll look to add to his impressive numbers next Sunday at home against the Falcons.
