Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Won't return to Sunday's contest
Chubb (knee) won't return to Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
With Chubb -- who carried six times for 43 yards prior to his exit -- now out for the day, the Browns' Week 4 backfield duties will be handled by the duo of Kareem Hunt and D'Ernest Johnson. Given that Hunt is already rostered in most leagues, Johnson could be a useful waiver-wire add in advance of Week 5, in the event that Chubb is forced to miss any time with his knee issue.

Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Picks up hamstring injury
Ekeler is questionable to return to Sunday's game in Tampa Bay due to a hamstring injury.
Considering Ekeler couldn't put any weight on his left leg, it's somewhat of a surprise that he may be able to reenter the Chargers' Week 4 contest. Having said that, however long Ekeler is sidelined, some combination of Joshua Kelley and Justin Jackson will cover for him out of the backfield.

Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Needs cart to get off field
Ekeler (leg) was carted off the field during Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Ekeler was in significant pain and was unable to put any weight on his left leg after taking a first-quarter hit along the Chargers' sideline. The training staff looked at his left foot before taking him to the locker room. In Ekeler's stead, L.A. will count on Joshua Kelley and Justin Jackson to man the backfield.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Good to go Sunday
Mixon (chest) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.
Mixon was a late add to the injury report Saturday, but he was still expected to play as the chest issue never appeared to be a serious concern. The 24-year-old has 52 carries for 164 yards with seven catches for 58 yards through three games, and Sunday's matchup with Jacksonville is a prime opportunity to get his season on track.

Justice Hill RB | BAL
Ravens' Justice Hill: Ready for season debut
Hill (thigh) is on the active roster for the Week 4 matchup against the Washington Football Team.
Hill hasn't taken the field all season after dealing with a thigh injury for the first two weeks and ending up as a healthy scratch in Week 3. That changes Sunday against the Washington Football Team, though it's admittedly unclear what, if any, role the second-year back might have on the offense (or if he'll be limited to special teams). Hill still presumably will have to work behind Mark Ingram, J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards in terms of the pecking order for carries.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Week 4 game rescheduled for Monday
Edwards-Helaire and the Chiefs are currently slated to play the Patriots on Monday night at 7:05 p.m. ET, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
On Saturday, both the Chiefs and Patriots endured positive COVID-19 tests, causing the NFL to postpone their Week 4 matchup. Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, subsequent point of care testing came back clear Sunday morning, so the game has been rescheduled for Monday evening. Edwards-Helaire now will take aim at a New England defense that has allowed 139 yards from scrimmage per game and two touchdowns to running backs through three contests.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Potentially exposed to COVID-19
Kamara was one of four players who sat near Michael Burton, who tested positive for COVID-19, on the plane ride to Detroit on Saturday, NBC Sports Pro Football Talk reports. He's among seven players who underwent supplemental COVID-19 testing.
The Saints learned late Saturday that Burton tested positive after arriving in Detroit. Kamara and seven other players who were near Burton are awaiting test results, according to the report. With the news of Burton's positive test, it's possible that Sunday's game between the Saints and Lions could be postponed to Monday or Tuesday, or moved past Week 4.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: On track to play Sunday
Mixon (chest) is expected to play Sunday against the Jaguars, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
The 24-year-old was added to the injury report earlier Saturday with the chest issue and is officially questionable for Week 4, but the injury apparently isn't a serious concern. However, it's worth keeping an eye on Mixon's status Sunday morning ahead of the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
