Kamara rushed 14 times for 83 yards and brought in all eight targets for 65 yards in the Saints' 27-24 win over the Panthers on Sunday.

With Michael Thomas (ankle/hamstring) and Emmanuel Sanders (illness) both out of action, Kamara had significantly elevated fantasy expectations heading into the contest. He delivered a strong all-around performance, albeit one that may have fallen short of the higher range of outcomes one would have envisioned with his aforementioned pair of teammates sidelined. Kamara did tie Marquez Calloway for the team lead in receptions and checked in second in receiving yards, and he tied his season best in rushing yards while hitting the eight-catch threshold for the fifth time in six contests. Kamara will look to continue offering similar production in a Week 8 battle against the Bears that Sanders is slated to miss and Thomas reportedly could also sit out.

Elliott carried 12 times for 45 yards and caught one of two targets for an additional six yards during Sunday's 25-3 loss to Washington.

Elliott struggled to the tune of 3.8 yards per carry against a ferocious defensive front, and although he technically avoided turning the ball over, he mishandled an inaccurate pass from Andy Dalton (head) that resulted in an interception in the red zone. To make matters worse, Dalton left the game after taking a cheap shot to the head on a slide and rookie quarterback Ben DiNucci struggled mightily as his replacement. Elliott's fantasy value has taken a large downturn over the last couple of weeks as a result of the tribulation his team has experienced at the quarterback position, and he could be in for another tough outing next Sunday night against the Eagles if the play under center if similarly poor.

Perine rushed 11 times for 39 yards and a touchdown while adding two catches for 16 yards on three targets in Sunday's 18-10 loss to Buffalo.

Perine and Frank Gore both got 11 carries, and while Gore rushed for 60 yards to Perine's 39, it was the rookie fourth-round pick who scored New York's only touchdown. His five-yard touchdown in the second quarter actually gave the Jets a surprising 10-0 lead, but it was all Bills after that. Perine's role should continue to expand at Gore's expense moving forward, but game script likely won't yield many rushing opportunities in Week 8, with New York expected to fall behind against the Chiefs.

Thompson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.

The 23-year-old had three carries for 17 yards last week as he saw his first offensive snaps since Week 3. Newcomer Le'Veon Bell is active for his Chiefs debut, pushing Thompson to the list of inactives.

Wilson (calf) is active for Sunday's game in New England.

With Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman on IR due to knee injuries, Wilson is part of a backfield rotation along with Jerick McKinnon and JaMycal Hasty. Wilson's workload has been all over the place this season, ranging from no touches Week 1 to 15 in Week 3. Overall, though, he's averaged 6.3 touches for 29.5 yards from scrimmage per game to go with two touchdowns in the four games this season in which he's received snaps on offense.

Dillon is slated to serve as the Packers' No. 2 running back behind Jamaal Williams with Aaron Jones (calf) sidelined Sunday in Houston, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

So far this season, Jones has averaged 18.6 touches per game, leaving a significant workload up for grabs. Williams himself boasts 9.2 touches per game and has the most experience among those available out of the backfield, so he's the better bet to lead the unit. Still, the Packers invested a second-round pick in April's draft in Dillon, and he's responded with 13 carries for 65 yards through five contests. Look for Dillon at least to spell Williams and perhaps be featured on a handful of possessions Sunday, with practice squad callup Dexter Williams on hand to pick up the scraps.

Williams is in line for an elevated workload Sunday at Houston with Aaron Jones (calf) inactive, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

On the season, Williams has averaged 9.2 touches per game with Jones (18.6 per game) in the lineup, so the former's looks are poised to double if the Packers utilize him in the same way. And Williams has gone for 4.3 yards per carry and hauled in 13 of 14 targets. making him a great fill-in option in the short term. That said, he may have to contend with rookie second-round pick AJ Dillon and potentially practice squad callup Dexter Williams for reps in this Week 7 affair.

Ollison (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Lions, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.

Ollison has suited up in just one game this season and didn't log any offensive snaps. Brian Hill and Ito Smith will continue to operate in a change-of-pace setting behind bell cow Todd Gurley.

Jones (calf) is inactive for Sunday's game at Houston, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Jones injured his calf at Thursday's practice and subsequently didn't practice Friday, earning a questionable designation in the process. On Saturday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette indicated the Packers weren't "expected to push him" to play, but Tom Pelissero of NFL Network countered Sunday morning, calling Jones a "game-time" decision. In the end, Jones' mild calf strain will result in his first absence of the season, allowing Jamaal Williams, AJ Dillon and even practice squad callup Dexter Williams to earn reps in Jones' stead.

McCaffrey (ankle), who won't play Sunday at New Orleans, may return for Thursday's game against the Falcons if he's 100 percent, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

McCaffrey picked up a high right ankle sprain Week 2, missing the Panthers' ensuing five games in the process. The team has yet to open his 21-day window to activate him from IR, and with a short week to prepare between games, his chances to prove his health on the practice field this week could be few and far between. As a result, if Carolina's staff holds McCaffrey out Thursday, he "seems likely" to make his long-awaited return Sunday, Nov. 8 in Kansas City.
