Dwayne Washington RB | DEN
Saints' Dwayne Washington: Inactive Week 10
Washington (back) is inactive for Sunday's Week 10 tilt against the 49ers.
The reserve running back has only five carries on the year, so his third absence of the season should only have an impact on New Orleans' special-teams units. Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray will continue to handle the backfield workload for the Saints.

Matt Breida RB | SF
Dolphins' Matt Breida: Inactive in Week 10
Breida (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's Week 10 tilt against the Chargers.
Breida was reported to be unlikely to play early Sunday, and despite a week of limited practice participation, that prognosis has come to fruition. The speedy fourth-year pro's second straight absence leaves the Dolphins with a backfield committee consisting of Salvon Ahmed, DeAndre Washington and Patrick Laird, as both Jordan Howard and Lynn Bowden are healthy scratches.

Kenyan Drake RB | GB
Cardinals' Kenyan Drake: Returns to action Sunday
Drake (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Benefitting from the Cardinals' Week 8 bye, Drake will miss just one contest as a result of the slight ligament tear in his ankle that he suffered Week 7 versus the Seahawks. Whether or not he can handle his typical workload remains to be seen. Through the first seven outings of the season, Drake averaged 18 touches per game while backup Chase Edmonds received 7.9 per game. There's a chance the split between Drake and Edmonds is more even if the former's health still is somewhat compromised.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Should lead Week 10 backfield
Chubb (knee) is expected to handle the bulk of the carries for the Browns in his first game back from injured reserve Sunday against the Texans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
After missing four games with a sprained MCL in his right knee, Chubb proved his health upon rejoining the Browns for practice this week. He was notably able to take part in all drills during Thursday's workout, prompting the Browns to activate him from IR on Saturday. Though Kareem Hunt was effective in Chubb's stead and remains on hand as a high-quality change-of-pace option, the Browns apparently aren't planning on putting Chubb on any sort of "pitch count" in his return to the lineup. With heavy winds in the forecast for Cleveland on Sunday, expect the Browns to favor a run-heavy game plan that will seemingly be headlined by Chubb.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: In line for starting role
Swift is expected to serve as Detroit's starting running back Sunday against Washington, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
According to Pelissero, the Lions still plan to use a three-man backfield mix that includes Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson, but Swift will at least be on the field for Detroit's first play of the afternoon. The rookie had already seen his playing time pick up in the previous three weeks, clearing 40 percent offensive snap shares in all of those contests. While Detroit likely won't ask Swift to handle anything resembling a bell-cow role, the fact that he's being listed as a starter ahead of Peterson for the first time this season at least offers hope that the 21-year-old will see an uptick in touches over the second half of the campaign.

Ke'Shawn Vaughn RB | SF
Buccaneers' Ke'Shawn Vaughn: Inactive for second straight week
Vaughn (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers.
With the three veteran running backs ahead of Vaughn on the depth chart (Ronald Jones, Leonard Fournette and LeSean McCoy) all healthy again, the Buccaneers won't have room for the rookie in their weekly game plans. Inactive for a second straight game, Vaughn will need an injury to one of the aforementioned three backs before he recaptures even a small role on offense.
-
Jason Huntley RB | IND
Eagles' Jason Huntley: Sitting out Sunday
Huntley (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Giants.
Huntley received some work over the last two games with Miles Sanders sidelined with a knee injury, and he recorded 13 yards on two carries and added 36 yards as a kick returner. The rookie will watch from the sidelines Sunday with Sanders back in action.

Kenyan Drake RB | GB
Cardinals' Kenyan Drake: Plans to suit up Sunday
Drake (ankle), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, plans to play if he checks out well during a pregame workout, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Drake has come along quicker than expected from the high-ankle sprain he sustained Oct. 25, and with the benefit of a Week 8 bye, he may only end up missing one game due to the injury. Before the Cardinals make a call on his Week 10 status, however, Drake will be watched closely in warmups before the coaching staff decides whether to make him active and how significant of a role to give him if he does indeed suit up. Because Drake was only a limited participant in practices Wednesday through Friday, the Cardinals may be reluctant to entrust him with handling his normal role right away, so expect Chase Edmonds to remain involved in the game plan regardless of Drake's status. Over his first seven games this season, Drake averaged 17 carries and 1.4 targets per contest.

Matt Breida RB | SF
Dolphins' Matt Breida: Not expected to play Sunday
Breida, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers due to a hamstring injury, "may be a week away from going," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Rapoport's report essentially matches the one provided Saturday by Adam Schefter of ESPN, who noted that Breida will likely miss a second straight game this weekend. In the event that Breida is unable to go, the Dolphins' top Week 10 backfield options would include Jordan Howard (team-high 10 carries for 19 yards and a touchdown Week 9) and Salvon Ahmed (seven carries for 38 yards). Additionally, the Dolphins will also have recent trade acquisition DeAndre Washington available to make his team debut.

Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Hopes to play Sunday
Harris (chest/ankle), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, is "hopeful to play," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Rapoport adds that Harris will be monitored closely in pre-game warmups as the Patriots look to ensure he experiences no setbacks before clearing him to suit up. With Sony Michel (quad) still on injured reserve, the Patriots' other backfield options are the versatile Rex Burkhead, change-of-pace back James White and rookie J.J. Taylor. Given that Sunday's game kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET, there's an element of risk in counting on Harris -- who has emerged as New England's top early-down option -- in Week 10 fantasy lineups. In the event that he's scratched, last-minute plug-in options would include Burkhead and White, running backs in the mix for carries for Baltimore, and those on the two Monday night teams (Minnesota and Chicago).
