Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Broncos' Melvin Gordon: Another limited session
Gordon (ribs/lower leg) remained limited at practice Thursday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.
Per O'Halloran, neither issue is expected to prevent Gordon from taking the field Sunday against the Ravens. Friday's final injury report of the week should reveal whether the running back heads into the weekend listed as questionable or minus a Week 4 injury designation.

Elijah Mitchell RB | PHI
49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Logs another limited session
Mitchell (shoulder) was limited at Thursday's practice, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
For a second session in a row, Mitchell was donning a blue no-contact jersey, according to Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com. The cautious approach from the 49ers makes sense with Mitchell recovering from a right shoulder injury that was considered "worse than a stinger" and already sidelined him for one game. He'll get one more shot to put in a full practice this week before the team likely places a designation on the running back's status for Sunday's contest against the Seahawks. If Mitchell is able to gain clearance to play, he may join Trey Sermon at the top of the RB depth chart, with fullback Kyle Juszczyk mixing in as he did this past Sunday versus the Packers.

Dalvin Cook RB | DAL
Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Gets in limited work again
Cook (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
Cook didn't officially practice last week before sitting out last Sunday's win against the Seahawks, so his ability to put together back-to-back showings this week, albeit with a cap on his reps, is a positive sign for his upcoming availability. The Vikings likely want to see Cook get through Friday without a setback, but in any case his status could be clarified upon the release of their final Week 4 injury report.

Mike Boone RB | MIA
Broncos' Mike Boone: Working into game shape
Coach Vic Fangio said Thursday that Boone (quadriceps) isn't yet in full game shape, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Boone was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, and it's unclear if he'll be activated for Sunday's matchup with the Ravens. Even if he's in uniform, the 26-year-old won't immediately take on a full workload.

Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Reps capped again
Taylor (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
For the second straight day, Taylor had his reps capped while he tends to the knee injury. The Indianapolis brass hasn't suggested the injury is anything that jeopardizes Taylor's availability for Sunday's game in Miami, but he may need to turn in a full practice Friday to avoid taking an injury designation into the weekend.

AJ Dillon RB | CAR
Packers' AJ Dillon: Dealing with back injury
Dillon was added to Thursday's practice report as limited due to a back injury, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
The Packers have capped Aaron Jones' reps this week as he tends to an ankle issue, and now the team's top two running backs have question marks hanging over their heads. There's been no indication either player is in danger of missing Sunday's game versus the Steelers, but the situation bears watching as the week goes on.
-
Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Limited again Thursday
Jones (ankle) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
For the second day in a row, the Packers capped Jones' reps, and backup AJ Dillon (back) joined him as limited after avoiding the first Week 4 injury report. There's been no indication that either running back is in danger of sitting out Sunday against the Steelers, but with both dealing with injuries the situation should be monitored as the weekend draws closer.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: Reps capped at practice
The Lions listed Swift (groin) as a limited participant at Thursday's practice.
The Lions limited Swift's reps for the second day in a row, but head coach Dan Campbell hasn't suggested that the second-year back is in any danger of missing Sunday's game in Chicago. In fact, Campbell suggested earlier this week in an interview with Nick Baumgardner and Chris Burke of The Athletic that Swift could be in line for an increased role moving forward, after the 22-year-old thrived as a playmaker in the second half of last week's loss to the Ravens. The Lions will decide after Friday's practice whether Swift will carry an injury designation into Sunday's matchup.
-
Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Back at practice
Jacobs (ankle) returned to a limited practice Thursday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Jacobs, who has missed two straight games, was unable to practice at all last week, so his return to the field Thursday is no doubt a step in the right direction. However, when asked about the running back's chances of playing Monday night against the Chargers, coach Jon Gruden said, "We'll see. I'd say he's questionable at the moment." If Jacobs is out or limited Monday, Peyton Barber would once again be in line for added work in the Raiders' rushing attack in tandem with Kenyan Drake.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Another limited practice
Barkley (knee) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
The Giants eased Barkley into the season, as he handled just 11 touches on a 47-percent share of the offensive snaps Week 1. He's since ripped off 37 touches for 163 yards from scrimmage and one TD while going above 80 percent of those plays over the last two contests. Barkley may be under a maintenance plan for a good portion of the season after last year's ACL and MCL tears, but they have yet to impact his availability for game days.
