  • Raiders' Ashton Jeanty: Bounces back out of bye week

Jeanty took 13 carries for 42 yards while corralling all five of his targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-29 overtime loss to Jacksonville.

Jeanty used the Raiders' bye week to rebound nicely from his worst game as a pro against Kansas City in Week 7, nabbing his third touchdown reception of the year in Sunday's narrow defeat. The Boise State product still finished with a per-carry average below four yards for the third consecutive contest running behind Las Vegas' shoddy offensive line, but his contributions as a receiver balanced out a nice fantasy score in the end. Jeanty will have to work for another strong outing in Week 10 against Denver's top-10 rush defense on Thursday Night Football.

  • Kimani Vidal RB | LAC

Chargers' Kimani Vidal: Can't get going against Titans

Vidal logged 12 rushes for 30 yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Titans. He did not catch his lone target.

Vidal had high expectations entering this favorable matchup, but he instead might have ceded clear lead-back duties while Omarion Hampton (ankle) remains sidelined. Vidal led the Chargers backfield in carries 8-2 at halftime, but he was out-carried by Jarrett Patterson 7-4 in the final two quarters. While it's possible that had to do with game script, the Chargers only briefly held a two-score lead and Patterson was also more effective with his work. Vidal should remain in fantasy consideration so long as Hampton is out, but his role is a bit murkier moving forward.

  • James Cook RB | BUF

Bills' James Cook: Cracks century mark against KC

Cook rushed for 114 yards on 27 carries while catching his only target for 11 yards in Sunday's 28-21 win over the Chiefs.

Cook set a new high-water mark for touches in a single game this season (28) while finishing with a game-high 125 yards from scrimmage. The talented rusher did all of the heavy lifting for the Bills between the 20s, allowing for backup Ty Johnson and QB Josh Allen to hit pay dirt on the ground Sunday. Cook entered Sunday's contest averaging a touchdown scored per game this season, so managers will have to live with "just" another 100-yard performance (his fifth on the year). Look for Cook to potentially get back into the scoring column against the Dolphins next Sunday after torching Miami's defense for 108 yards and a touchdown when these two teams met back in Week 3.

  • Devin Neal RB | NO

Saints' Devin Neal: Gets four touches Week 9

Neal accrued three carries for 11 yards and caught his only target for one yard during Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Rams.

Neal had only three fewer carries than RB1 Alvin Kamara, who was stymied for a season-low 14 rushing yards. Meanwhile, do-it-all tight end Taysom Hill finished with a team-high 30 rushing yards on four carries. New Orleans got dominated in just about every phase, leaving rookie quarterback Tyler Shough to attempt 24 passes compared to just 14 rushing attempts as a team. It's unclear how the rushing attempts would have been split up if there was a more normal game script for the Saints' offense. New Orleans will next play against the Panthers in Week 10 next Sunday.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Totals 17 yards in loss

Kamara totaled six carries for 14 yards and caught one of three targets for three yards during Sunday's 34-10 defeat to the Rams.

Kamara was completely stonewalled and had a season low in yards while also tying his season low for carries in a game. Instead, Taysom Hill led the team with 30 rushing yards on four carries. The ninth-year running back also fumbled on his final carry of the game in the fourth quarter. Kamara didn't see an uptick in usage even with rookie quarterback Tyler Shough making his first career start, as the Rams dominated the Saints in time of possession 43:53-16:07. Over the last five games, Kamara has now averaged 8.2 carries for 24.2 yards. He also hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 1. Kamara's production is well below his reputation as a bell-cow back in fantasy, and his lack of explosiveness and limited production will likely continue to limit his output going forward. The Saints next face off with the Panthers in Week 10 on Sunday.

  • Kyren Williams RB | LAR

Rams' Kyren Williams: Tops 100 yards against Saints

Williams rushed the ball 25 times for 114 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Saints.

Williams took advantage of a positive game script to log season-high marks in carries and yards, highlighted by his first time reaching 100 yards on the ground across eight contests. His longest rush of the day went for 15 yards, and he still has only one gain of at least 20 yards on 132 attempts for the campaign. Nevertheless, Williams had his most productive fantasy performance, which was helped by a touchdown plunge early in the fourth quarter. He should continue to serve as the Rams' lead back, though he remains reliant primarily on volume to turn in strong fantasy performances.

  • Kareem Hunt RB | KC

Chiefs' Kareem Hunt: Scores with 55 yards Sunday

Hunt rushed 11 times for 49 yards and a touchdown while catching one of two targets for six yards in Sunday's 28-21 loss to the Bills.

Isiah Pacheco (knee) was unable to suit up after absorbing a big hit last week, opening the door for Hunt to serve as the Chiefs' primary back against the Bills on Sunday. The 29-year-old Hunt was up to the task, leading his team in rushing yards while collecting his fifth rushing touchdown of the season. Brashard Smith (3-7-0) finished a distant second in backfield touches, as head coach Andy Reid opted to lean on Hunt more instead of continuing a two-back approach in Pacheco's absence. There is a chance the latter could return following the Chiefs' upcoming bye week, but Hunt has been providing enough value in a timeshare to warrant flex consideration against the Broncos in Week 11.

  • Jaylen Warren RB | PIT

Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Punches in two scores

Warren rushed the ball 16 times for 31 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Colts. He added two receptions on two targets for minus-2 yards.

Warren dominated rushing opportunity out of the Pittsburgh backfield, accounting for 16 of 21 attempts by running backs. He was equally inefficient with the chances, with his longest rush of the game going for only eight yards. Warren continues to concede targets to Kenneth Gainwell, though he seemingly strengthened his grip on the goal-line role by punching in a pair of scores from one and two yards, respectively. Warren has had an up-and-down season, but he's generally found a way to turn in productive performances.

  • Lions' David Montgomery: 50 total yards, TD in loss

Montgomery rushed 11 times for 40 yards and a touchdown and brought in two of four targets for 10 yards in the Lions' 27-24 loss to the Vikings on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

Montgomery outpaced Jahmyr Gibbs by two carries and was the only one of the two to get into the end zone, doing so via a two-yard run early in the second quarter. The veteran back also short-circuited a drive in the third quarter, however, as he lost a fumble that was recovered by the Vikings at the Lions' 34-yard line and led to a Minnesota touchdown five plays later. Montgomery and Gibbs figure to continue in their usual timeshare when the Lions face the Commanders on the road in Week 10.

  • Chase Brown RB | CIN

Bengals' Chase Brown: Busy day as receiver in loss

Brown rushed 11 times for 37 yards and brought in eight of 14 targets for 75 yards in the Bengals' 47-42 loss to the Bears on Sunday.

The wild back-and-forth nature of the game limited Brown's rushing opportunities against a vulnerable Bears run defense, but the third-year back made up for it with his work as a receiver. Brown's catch and target totals were both team and season highs, and he did manage to log double-digit carries for the third straight contest. Brown will face the Steelers' inconsistent run defense on the road when the Bengals return from their Week 10 bye on Sunday, Nov. 16.
