  • Damien Harris RB | BUF

Patriots' Damien Harris: Active versus Cowboys

Harris (ribs) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Harris was forced out of last weekend's win over the Texans, but he was able to practice in a limited fashion Thursday and Friday and will give it a go Sunday. If the Patriots' top back ends up limited at all or suffers any setbacks against Dallas, added backfield touches would be available for Rhamondre Stevenson and Brandon Bolden.

  • Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Officially active Sunday

Elliott (ribs) is listed as active Sunday in New England.

The Cowboys capped Elliott's practice reps this week as he dealt with the aftereffects of landing on a camera pylon on the sideline last Sunday against the Giants. The rib issue won't impact his ability to suit up Week 6, but it stands to reason he could yield some work to backup running back Tony Pollard. Still, Elliott has been Dallas' lead runner all season on his way to 18.8 touches for 101.4 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring six TDs in five contests.

  • Melvin Gordon RB | BAL

Broncos' Melvin Gordon: Active as expected Sunday

Gordon (hip) is active for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

As expected, Gordon once again will tough out an injury and play after going into the weekend listed as questionable. The veteran also has dealt with rib and lower-leg injuries over the last pair of contests, but he's still logged a combined 65 snaps in those games while splitting time with rookie Javonte Williams, an arrangement that will persist versus Las Vegas.

  • Chase Edmonds RB | WAS

Cardinals' Chase Edmonds: Suiting up Sunday

Edmonds (shoulder) is listed as active Sunday at Cleveland, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Despite having practice limitations for a second week in a row, Edmonds will be available to the Cardinals offense Week 6. He continues to get the better end of offensive snaps over fellow running back James Conner, earning at least 60 percent in all five games while the latter has topped out at 48 percent twice. The result has been 72 touches for 429 yards from scrimmage and no TDs for Edmonds, while Conner has received 67 touches for 235 total yards and five scores.

  • Jake Funk RB | JAC

Rams' Jake Funk: Downgraded to out

Funk (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's game against the Giants, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.

As expected, Funk has been downgraded and won't return to the game -- which was a likely scenario given how tricky hamstring injuries can be. His next chance to play will be in Week 7 against the Lions, but his availability will depend on the severity of the injury.

  • Jaguars' James Robinson: Tops 100 total yards

Robinson recorded 17 rushes for 73 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Dolphins. He added three receptions for 28 yards.

Robinson handled all of the carries out of the Jaguars' backfield, with Trevor Lawrence the only other player to register a rush attempt for the team. He didn't have many big gains, but he did record a 28-yard rush and also found the end zone from one yard out early in the third quarter. Robinson also chipped in as a receiver and logged multiple receptions for the first time in his last three games. Most importantly, Robinson remains a workhorse back, recording 15 or more carries in each of his last four contests.

  • Jake Funk RB | JAC

Rams' Jake Funk: Picks up hamstring injury

Funk (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Giants, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.

It's unclear when Funk picked up the injury, but hamstring problems are unpredictable, and there's no clarity regarding his potential return to action. He wasn't expected to hold a big role on offense with Darrell Henderson and Sony Michel both available, though.

  • Bears' Damien Williams: Not activated for Sunday's game

Williams (illness) wasn't reinstated from the reserve/COVID-19 list prior to Sunday's game against the Packers, Mark Potash of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

After he was revealed Thursday to have tested positive for COVID-19, Williams theoretically would have had a chance to play Sunday if fully vaccinated, but the running back unsurprisingly didn't clear all health and safety protocols ahead of the Week 6 contest. Khalil Herbert is expected to serve as the Bears' lead option on the ground against the Packers while Williams is sidelined and David Montgomery (knee) is on injured reserve. Meanwhile, Ryan Nall and Artavis Pierce are on hand as depth options and could serve as change-of-pace alternatives to Herbert.

  • Spencer Brown RB | ATL

Panthers' Spencer Brown: Not playing Sunday

Brown (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus Minnesota, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.

Brown was elevated from the practice squad Saturday but won't be suiting up for Week 6. Royce Freeman will be the sole running back on the active roster behind starter Chuba Hubbard against the Vikings after Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) recently moved to injured reserve.

  • Lions' Jamaal Williams: Dressing Week 6

Williams (hip) is listed as active Sunday versus the Bengals.

Williams tended to a hip injury for a second week in a row, but an illness kept him off the field entirely from Thursday's practice. Still, he'll be out there Week 6 behind starter D'Andre Swift (groin), which so far has amounted to 14 touches per game this season for Williams.
