Salvon Ahmed RB | CHI
Dolphins' Salvon Ahmed: Gets seven carries in Week 12 win
Ahmed had seven carries for 17 yards during Sunday's win over the Panthers. He also secured his only target for nine yards.
Ahmed had his most carries since Week 8 during Sunday's convincing win, but he worked behind both Myles Gaskin and new backfield addition Phillip Lindsay. The reserve running back hasn't logged a single game this season with either 4.0 yards per carry or a touchdown.

Jerick McKinnon RB | KC
Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Moved to IR
McKinnon (hamstring) was put on injured reserve Tuesday, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star reports.
The running back suffered a hamstring injury in Week 11 against the Cowboys but will now miss at least three weeks before he can be activated. McKinnon's absence is unlikely to have much of an impact on the team's backfield, which was already dominated by Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Darrel Williams.

Latavius Murray RB | BUF
Ravens' Latavius Murray: Bottled up by Browns
Murray had eight carries for 14 yards in the win over the Browns.
Though Murray's volume stayed in line with what he saw in his return against Chicago, his effectiveness was limited. The Browns bottled up Murray to the tune of 1.8 yards per carry, and his longest rush was good for four yards. Baltimore, as a team, averaged a meager 3.4 yards per carry, so Murray wasn't the only Raven who had trouble finding traction Sunday. Still, it's telling that Devonta Freeman doubled Murray's carry count and appears to be the lead back for the Ravens heading into Week 13 against the Steelers.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Another limited showing
Kamara (knee) was limited at Tuesday's practice.
Kamara earned the same listing on Monday's injury report, but on a positive note he at least has maintained his activity level on back-to-back days after missing the past three games due to a sprained MCL. Meanwhile, Mark Ingram (knee) again practiced in full Tuesday, putting himself in a better spot to be the Saints' lead runner Thursday against the Cowboys. If Kamara doesn't do enough to be cleared for his first game action since Nov. 7, Ingram will be just that Week 13.

Joshua Kelley RB | TEN
Chargers' Joshua Kelley: Two catches in loss
Kelley carried the ball once for five yards while also catching two of three targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Broncos.
Kelley's longest pass reception went for 17 yards in which he hurdled over a Denver defender to almost get the first down. The 2020 fourth-round pick was on the field for 23 percent of all offensive snaps. Fellow backup running back Justin Jackson did not play an offensive snap, and Larry Rountree was inactive because of a coach's decision, two major positive signs for Kelley. Darius Bradwell did make his 2021 season debut and played sparingly, but at least for the moment Kelley seems to sit second on a complicated running back depth chart.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Practicing again Tuesday
Kamara (knee) is taking part in practice again Tuesday, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.
Kamara has participated three days straight, placing him on a path toward rejoining the action Thursday after sitting out the past three games. We should get a better feel for his status when the team releases its official injury report for the big Thursday night showdown with the Cowboys.

Devine Ozigbo RB | DET
Devine Ozigbo: Working out for Patriots
Ozigbo will work out for the Patriots on Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
New England appears poised to add Ozigbo to the practice squad, assuming his tryout goes well. With J.J. Taylor (undisclosed) having been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, the Patriots are in need of emergency backfield depth.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: More touches could be on deck
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday that he expects Elliott to handle a "serious load" of opportunities during Thursday's game against the Saints, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Elliott has been managing knee stiffness since Week 4, but he was a full participant at practice Monday. Jones' optimism should be taken with a grain of salt, however -- Dallas has recently opted to limit Elliott's workload, resulting in back-to-back games in which the star running back failed to tally double-digit carries. Even if he does see more work Thursday night, it will come against New Orleans' stout defensive front. Through the first seven contests of the season, Elliott averaged an outstanding 19.7 touches per game.

Kenyan Drake RB | GB
Raiders' Kenyan Drake: Nine touches against Cowboys
Drake took seven carries for 25 yards and caught two passes on as many targets for five yards in the Raiders' Week 12 overtime win at Dallas.
Drake has two or less receptions in each of his last three contests, but he still earned nine total touches on just 15 offensive snaps in the Thanksgiving Day victory. However, starter Josh Jacobs figures to remain the workhorse out of the backfield against Washington in Week 13.

Kenneth Gainwell RB | TB
Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Sees just 11 snaps in loss
Gainwell caught three of his four targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 13-7 loss to the Giants.
Gainwell didn't get his name in the box score until the second half, nor did his usage increase much after Miles Sanders left with an ankle injury. The rookie never saw a carry in the game, and he played only 11 snaps as most of the work fell to Boston Scott with Sanders out. Nevertheless, if both Sanders and Jordan Howard (knee) end up being unable to go in Week 13, Gainwell would likely see more work behind Scott.
