Craig Reynolds RB | NE
Lions' Craig Reynolds: Getting another chance with Swift out
Reynolds and Jamaal Williams will serve as the Lions' primary running backs for Sunday's game in Atlanta, Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.
Reynolds received a majority share of the running back reps over the last two games with Williams on the reserve/COVID-19 list and D'Andre Swift in recovery mode from an AC joint sprain in his shoulder. Williams is back in action Sunday, while Swift will miss his fourth game in a row. It remains to be seen the breakdown of snaps between Reynolds and Williams, but the former notched 40 touches for 216 yards between Weeks 14 and 15.

Jamaal Williams RB | NO
Lions' Jamaal Williams: No Swift in return to lineup
Williams and Craig Reynolds will serve as the Lions' primary running backs Sunday in Atlanta, Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.
Detroit opted to keep D'Andre Swift on street clothes for a fourth consecutive contest as he continues his recovery from an AC joint sprain in his shoulder. Williams is back in the lineup after missing two games on the reserve/COVID-19 list, and he'll split reps out of the backfield with Reynolds. Considering Reynolds reeled off 216 yards from scrimmage on 40 touches during Williams' absence, the former could be the early-down runner Sunday while the latter serves in a change-of-pace role.

Austin Walter RB | LV
Jets' Austin Walter: Healthy scratch Sunday
Walter (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Walter had two carries for 12 yards last week against Miami as the No. 3 tailback, but he's a healthy scratch for Week 16. Ty Johnson will take on that role Sunday with Michael Carter and Tevin Coleman set to lead the backfield once again.

J.J. Taylor RB | HOU
Patriots' J.J. Taylor: Suits up Sunday
Taylor is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills.
With Rhamondre Stevenson (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Taylor is active for the first time since Week 10. However, with Damien Harris likely to handle the bulk of the Patriots' early-down work assuming no setbacks with his hamstring and Brandon Bolden on hand to work in a change-of-pace role, Taylor is a speculative Week 16 lineup option.

Brandon Bolden RB | LV
Patriots' Brandon Bolden: Active for Week 16
Bolden (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills.
With Rhamondre Stevenson (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list, look for Damien Harris to handle the bulk of the Patriots' early-down work assuming no setbacks with his hamstring, while Bolden continues to work in a change-of-pace role that provides him with a degree of PPR utility in deeper fantasy formats. Meanwhile, J.J. Taylor is on hand in reserve.

Zack Moss RB | CIN
Bills' Zack Moss: Suiting up against Patriots
Moss will take the field for the first time since Week 13 in Sunday's matchup against New England.
Moss had been a healthy scratch in back-to-back weeks and three of the last four overall, giving way to Matt Breida as the backup to Devin Singletary. Breida now finds himself as the healthy scratch, with Singletary and special-teamer Taiwan Jones the only other backs on the active roster. The last time Moss suited up was Week 12 against the Patriots, when he took eight carries for 21 yards and added two catches for 12 yards. It's unclear if a similar usage pattern will be reflected here or if Moss will purely be used in a reserve capacity.

Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Suits up Sunday
Harris (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills.
With Rhamondre Stevenson (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Harris, who last suited up Week 13, figures to log as much early-down work as he can handle Sunday, while Brandon Bolden works in a change-of-pace role and J.J. Taylor is available to handle complementary touches. In that context, Harris merits Week 16 lineup consideration versus a Buffalo defense that he recorded 10 carries for 111 yards and a TD against on Dec. 6 prior to injuring his hamstring.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: Missing fourth straight game
Swift (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game at Atlanta.
Despite not being ruled out ahead of this contest, Swift will remain sidelined as he continues the later stages of his recovery from an AC joint sprain in his shoulder. That leaves the Lions backfield to Jamaal Williams and Craig Reynolds. Williams is coming off a two-game absence himself following a bout with COVID-19, which allowed Reynolds to serve as the lead back to the tune of 40 touches for 216 yards from scrimmage. In any case, the pair figure to be the team's key RBs in some way, shape and form.
-
Matt Breida RB | SF
Bills' Matt Breida: Healthy scratch against Patriots
Breida will be a healthy scratch Week 16 against the Patriots.
Breida was the only Buffalo running back other than Devin Singletary to receive a carry Week 15 against Carolina, but he was limited to just three offensive snaps and did not see a target in the passing game. Fellow running back Zack Moss was a healthy scratch for that contest, but Moss has managed to avoid the inactive list this week and will presumably be taking on the backup role in Breida's stead.

Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Slated to play vs. Bills
Harris (hamstring) remains questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, but he's on track to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Fantasy managers will still want to verify that Harris is active for Week 16, with confirmation on that front arriving when the Patriots release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Assuming he suits up, Harris could be in store for a larger workload on the ground than usual, after having picked up either 10 or 11 carries in each of the past three weeks. Rookie Rhamondre Stevenson had turned the Patriots' backfield situation into more of a timeshare of late, but Harris should have a clearer path to the overwhelming share of the carries with Stevenson ruled out after landing on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday.
