Carter rushed 13 times for 29 yards and caught both of his targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 16-9 win over the Broncos.

Both offenses struggled in this one, but the largest development for Carter was the exit of Breece Hall (knee) with what's feared to be a torn ACL. Carter took over as the primary running back after Hall's exit and failed to find much room on the ground but set up a field goal with a 37-yard catch. After getting no more than 12 touches in any of the previous five games, Carter will likely see significantly more usage in Week 8 against the Patriots and beyond with Hall sidelined.

Pierce carried the ball 20 times for 92 yards and caught all four of his targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Raiders.

While he was overshadowed by a huge performance from Las Vegas' Josh Jacobs, Pierce was still plenty productive, recording his fourth straight game with more than 100 yards from scrimmage. The rookie has 402 rushing yards, 68 receiving yards and three rushing TDs over that stretch, and he'll be the centerpiece of the Texans' offense again in Week 8 as they take on Derrick Henry and the Titans.

Mixon rushed the ball 17 times for 58 yards in Sunday's 35-17 win over the Falcons. He added three receptions for 33 yards.

Mixon accounted for 17 of Cincinnati's 18 carries by running backs, and five of his attempts came from inside Atlanta's 10-yard line. His inefficiencies on the ground -- his longest carry went for 11 yards and he averaged only 3.4 yards attempt -- were also tempered by his involvement in the passing game. While his role in Cincinnati's offense is unquestioned, Mixon has yet to top 85 rushing yards in a game this season and has not recorded a gain of more than 20 yards on the ground since Week 1.

Hall's (knee) initial diagnosis "is not good," per coach Robert Saleh, and it's likely that the running back tore his ACL in Sunday's 16-9 win over the Broncos, Al Iannazzone of Newsday Sports reports.

If the feared torn ACL is confirmed, it would be a brutal loss for the Jets, as Hall had blossomed into one of the game's brightest stars at running back. Prior to getting hurt in the first half, he broke free for a 62-yard rushing touchdown to extend his touchdown streak to four games. Michael Carter took over as New York's lead back in Hall's absence, with Ty Johnson stepping into a change-of-pace role.

Boone (ankle) underwent X-rays that came back negative after exiting Sunday's game against the Jets, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

While early reports on Boone's ankle injury are encouraging, he'll undergo an MRI on Monday to help pinpoint his diagnosis. If he's forced to miss additional time, Melvin Gordon and Latavius Murray should serve as the Broncos' top two running backs.

Pollard rushed 12 times for 83 yards and secured both targets for 26 yards in the Cowboys' 24-6 win over the Lions on Sunday.

Pollard was three carries behind backfield mate Ezekiel Elliott, but he outgained him by 26 yards. The fourth-year back's 6.9 yards per carry was especially impressive, and he's now eclipsed the 80-yard mark on the ground in two of his last three games. His next opportunity to continue churning out strong numbers comes in a favorable Week 8 home matchup against the Bears' suspect run defense.

Gaskin (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Gaskin will be a healthy scratch for a second consecutive week since the Dolphins' other running backs are all available. Raheem Mostert, Chase Edmonds and Salvon Ahmed will be available out of the backfield Sunday.

Henry rushed the ball 30 times for 128 yards in Sunday's 19-10 win over the Colts. He added three receptions for 10 yards.

The Titans followed a familiar game script, as they took a lead against the Colts and used Henry to run out the clock in the final two quarters. As a result, he reached the 30-carry threshold for the first time this season and surpassed 100 yards for the third consecutive game. Also of note was Henry's ability to pick up chunk gains, as his longest rushes of the day went for 23 and 21 yards -- doubling his number of carries that have gone for 20 or more yards on the season.

Foreman rushed 15 times for 118 yards and secured both targets for 27 yards in the Panthers' 21-3 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Although pregame reports indicated Foreman would open the post-Christian McCaffrey era playing second fiddle to Chuba Hubbard (ankle) in Carolina's backfield, it was the former who led the way in rush attempts and yardage with his teammate exiting the game early. A significant chunk of Foreman's yardage came on a 60-yard run, but the one-time third-round pick of the Texans still gained a respectable 58 yards on his other 14 carries and also made solid contributions in the passing game. Hubbard was impressive in his own right before his injury with 63 yards and a score on nine carries -- along with a pair of catches in his own right -- so the two may continue operating in a fairly close timeshare arrangement moving forward when each is available.

Gibson rushed 10 times for 59 yards while catching three of four targets for 18 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-21 win over the Packers.

Gibson had half as many carries as Brian Robinson, but the third-year running back made more of an impact as a pass catcher, including a nine-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. With three-plus catches in five of seven games, including each of the past four, Gibson continues to get opportunities in Washington's offense despite inconsistent usage on the ground. Gibson and the Commanders will face the Colts on the road in Week 8.
