Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Practices Monday
Harris (undisclosed) participated in Monday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Lazar previously noted that Harris "tweaked something during positional drills" at Wednesday's practice, but the running back's return to the field Monday indicates that his issue was nothing major and shouldn't impact his Week 1 status. Once the regular season kicks off, Harris is in line to share early-down work in New England's backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson.

Gerrid Doaks RB | HOU
Gerrid Doaks: Waived by Miami
The Dolphins waived Doaks on Monday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Doaks was selected by Miami in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft and spent his entire rookie campaign on the practice squad before signing a futures deal in January. If he clears waivers, the Cincinnati product could rejoin the Dolphins' practice squad to start the 2022 campaign.

Jason Huntley RB | IND
Jason Huntley: Waived by Eagles
Huntley was waived by the Eagles on Monday, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Huntley will be let go as a part of the team's final cuts ahead of the 2022 season. The running back has been utilized as a return specialist this preseason and could fill that role for another team.

Brian Robinson Jr. RB | ATL
Commanders' Brian Robinson: Optimism regarding recovery
Coach Ron Rivera indicated Monday that doctors are optimistic regarding the recovery of Robinson, who was a shooting victim in an attempted robbery in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports. In an Instagram post Monday, Robinson relayed that his "surgery went well."
Per Keim, Commanders team officials are slated to talk to doctors later Monday to get a further update on the status of the rookie running back, who sustained wounds to his lower extremities Sunday. At that time, the team plans to make a decision on whether to place Robinson on the non-football injury list. If so, he would miss at least the first four games of the upcoming season.

La'Mical Perine RB | PIT
Jets' La'Mical Perine: Falls flat in preseason finale
Perine rushed once for minus-1 yard in Sunday's 31-27 preseason win over the Giants.
Perine didn't get many opportunities, but he didn't exactly make the most of his final chance to show the coaching staff he belongs on the 53-man roster. The Jets' 2020 fourth-round pick is a long shot to make the team in 2022.

Michael Carter RB | TEN
Jets' Michael Carter: Fumbles in preseason finale
Carter rushed four times for 10 yards and caught one of two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 31-27 preseason win over the Giants. He also lost a fumble.
Carter rotated with rookie second-round pick Breece Hall on the first-team offense. He only fumbled once as a rookie last season, so Carter's miscue in this one shouldn't raise too many red flags. Carter is set to open the regular season as part of a timeshare with Hall.

Zonovan Knight RB | ARI
Jets' Zonovan Knight: Rips off 22-yard run
Knight rushed four times for 31 yards in Sunday's 31-27 preseason win over the Giants.
Knight showed nice burst to get to the sideline on a 22-yard run in the fourth quarter. The rookie undrafted free agent out of NC State is unlikely to make the 53-man roster, but the Jets will likely keep Knight around on the practice squad.

Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Could see more targets early on
Stevenson should get more work on passing downs if Ty Montgomery misses time with an ankle injury, Chad Graff of The Athletic reports.
Montgomery emerged as the favorite for James White's old role, but it may now fall to Stevenson, at least temporarily, in addition to his normal work splitting carries with Damien Harris (undisclosed). The Patriots also might consider rookie Pierre Strong or a veteran free agent for the role, and it isn't yet clear how much time Montgomery might miss.

Myles Gaskin RB | SEA
Dolphins' Myles Gaskin: Fares well in preseason finale
Gaskin rushed six times for 39 yards in Miami's 48-10 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday.
Gaskin helped the Dolphins combine for more than 200 rushing yards against Philadelphia, but his chances of securing a spot on the final roster still can't be guaranteed. With Miami having revamped the backfield, all of Chase Edmonds, Raheem Mostert and Sony Michel now seemingly reside above Gaskin on the depth chart. Even if Gaskin does make it through roster cuts, he will only stand to handle a depth role.
-
Salvon Ahmed RB | CHI
Dolphins' Salvon Ahmed: Four carries in preseason finale
Ahmed had four carries for 30 yards during Miami's 48-10 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday.
Ahmed is fighting for a roster spot in a crowded Miami backfield, one which saw Chase Edmonds receive the starter's treatment and sit out Saturday's preseason win. Raheem Mostert and Sony Michel are likely also above Ahmed on the depth chart, which leaves him competing with Myles Gaskin and Gerrid Doaks for limited reserve spots.
