  • Najee Harris RB | LAC

Steelers' Najee Harris: Cleared to play Sunday

Harris (oblique) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Falcons after returning to a limited practice Friday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

"I'll play," said Harris, who suffered an oblique injury against the Colts this past Monday. "I felt good. First day doing stuff. Just getting back to the movements and moving around. It felt good. Rest will help. That is what I was doing the past two days and letting it heal itself a little bit." Harris is thus slated to lead the Steelers' rushing attack this weekend and assuming no in-game setbacks, he should log enough volume to maintain fantasy utility in Week 13. Meanwhile, Harris' top backup Jaylen Warren, who was inactive versus Indianapolis, is listed as questionable after practicing fully this week and Benny Snell (knee, full practice Friday) is good to go versus Atlanta.

  • Giants' Gary Brightwell: Deemed questionable for Sunday

Brightwell (illness) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against Washington, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Brightwell didn't practice Wednesday due to an illness, but he's logged back-to-back limited sessions to end Week 13 prep and has a chance to suit up Sunday. The backup running back saw a career-high seven touches during the Giants' Thanksgiving Day loss to Dallas, but if Brightwell is deemed available against Washington, it's unclear if he'll match that type of usage while operating behind Saquon Barkley and Matt Breida.

  • Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Back at practice Friday

McKinnon (hamstring) returned to practice Friday, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.

Sweeney indicated that it sounds like McKinnon should be available Sunday against the Bengals, but Friday's final injury report will clarify whether or not the running back heads into the weekend carrying a Week 13 injury designation.

  • J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN

Ravens' J.K. Dobbins: Not ready to play this week

Dobbins (knee) won't be activated from IR in advance of Sunday's game against the Broncos, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

That said, coach John Harbaugh indicated that Dobbins could play as soon as Week 14 against the Steelers. In the meantime, Gus Edwards is slated to lead the Ravens' backfield this weekend, with Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill in line to continue to work in complementary roles.

  • Najee Harris RB | LAC

Steelers' Najee Harris: Expects to play Sunday

Harris (oblique) plans to play Sunday against the Falcons, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Harris didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but it looks like he'll be able to give it a go Sunday. Friday's final injury report will clarify whether the Steelers' top running back approaches the contest with a Week 13 injury designation or fully cleared to play this weekend.

  • Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Listed as questionable

Gibson (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports.

Gibson was initially listed on the injury report Wednesday as limited, then he missed practice Thursday before returning Friday morning. He's seemingly on track to play, with Brian Robinson and Jonathan Williams the other options to handle more work if Gibson ends up limited or inactive ahead of the Commanders' 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Robinson got more work than Gibson in last week's win over Atlanta, but it was the other way around the week before in Houston.

  • Joe Mixon RB | HOU

Bengals' Joe Mixon: Still in concussion protocol

As of Friday, Mixon remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.

The running back has been able to practice in a limited fashion this week, but given that he has yet to officially clear concussion protocol, his status for Sunday's game against the Chiefs has yet to be determined. Friday's final injury report is slated to add further context with regard to Mixon's chances of playing this weekend, but if he's unable to suit up, Samaje Perine would be in line to lead the Bengals' Week 13 backfield.

  • Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Back at practice Friday

Gibson (foot) is participating at Friday's practice, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

The 24-year-old was unable to participate at practice Thursday but has returned to the field for Friday's session. It's unclear if Gibson has shown enough to avoid an injury designation altogether, but it appears he'll at least have a chance of suiting up Sunday against the Giants.

  • Jaguars' Travis Etienne: On track for Sunday

Coach Doug Pederson said Friday that Etienne (foot) is "good to go" for Sunday's game at Detroit, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.

Etienne was limited at practice Wednesday and Thursday due to the left foot sprain he suffered Week 12, but his outlook has apparently improved as of Friday. It's unclear if the 23-year-old will be able to avoid the questionable tag, but he should be expected to play versus the Lions on Sunday regardless.

  • Michael Carter RB | TEN

Jets' Michael Carter: Likely out Sunday

Coach Robert Saleh said Friday that Carter (ankle) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Vikings, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

The 23-year-old was unable to practice Wednesday and Thursday, and it appears his outlook hasn't significantly improved Friday. Carter isn't expected to be available Sunday in Minnesota, which opens the door for Ty Johnson, Zonovan Knight and possibly  James Robinson to take on expanded roles in Week 13.
