Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Returns to Sunday's game
Jones (shin) reentered Sunday's contest at Chicago, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Jones has been tending to a lower-leg injury since he was knocked out of a Week 9 loss in Detroit. He seemingly aggravated it Sunday, but he'll attempt to gut it out. Having said that, Jones could yield more of the backfield reps to AJ Dillon as the game goes on.

Gary Brightwell RB | CIN
Giants' Gary Brightwell: Will play Sunday
Brightwell (illness) is active Sunday against the Commanders.
Brightwell closed out the week with back-to-back limited practices, and he's good to go Week 13 against Washington. He saw an increased role in Week 12's loss to the Cowboys, which may be worth monitoring to see if it carries over to today.

Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Raiders' Josh Jacobs: In line to play Sunday
Jacobs (calf), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, is on track to play, a source tells Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network previously relayed that Jacobs was set to be evaluated in a pregame warmup before the Raiders decided on his status, and Schefter's latest report would seem to indicate that the running back checked out well upon reporting to the stadium Sunday. Jacobs won't be officially cleared until the Raiders release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, but assuming he's good to go, expect the 24-year-old to handle his usual high-volume role out of the Las Vegas backfield. Despite aggravating his left calf strain in the fourth quarter of last week's game against the Seahawks, Jacobs proceeded to return to the game and delivered a game-winning 86-yard touchdown run in the 40-34 overtime win. He finished the day with two scores and a career-high 303 total yards from scrimmage.

Khari Blasingame FB | PHI
Bears' Khari Blasingame: Won't play Sunday
Blasingame is inactive Sunday against the Packers due to an illness, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Blasingame will sit for the first time this season, after he apparently came down with the illness in the hours leading up to kickoff since the Bears didn't include him on their injury report. Chicago will play the game without a true fullback and could turn to one of their tight ends to handle Blasingame's usual blocking functions.

Jaylen Warren RB | PIT
Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Suits up Sunday
Warren (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Mike DeFabo of The Athletic reports.
Warren, who was inactive this past Monday versus the Colts, practiced fully this week yet still carried a questionable designation ahead of Sunday's contest. He'll be available against Atlanta, though with starter Najee Harris slated to play through an oblique issue after returning to a limited practice Friday, look for Warren to work in complementary role, with Benny Snell -- who stepped in for Harris after he exited Monday's game against Indianapolis -- on hand to provide support should either Harris or Warren be limited or suffer any setbacks.
-
Travis Etienne RB | NO
Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Good to go Sunday
Etienne (foot) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Lions.
Etienne received the questionable tag after being a limited practice participant this week, but he's been cleared to take the field for Sunday's contest. He played only five snaps before he suffered the foot injury Week 12 versus Baltimore, but it appears he won't miss additional time. Etienne should reclaim the workhorse role for Jacksonville while JaMycal Hasty reverts to the No. 2 option in the backfield.

Michael Carter RB | TEN
Jets' Michael Carter: Inactive Sunday
Carter (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Carter, who is dealing with a reported low-ankle sprain, didn't practice this past week before being deemed doubtful for the contest. In Carter's absence, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network relays via coach Robert Saleh that the Jets plan to utilize a backfield-by-committee in Week 13 that will include rookie Zonovan Knight, Ty Johnson and James Robinson. Of the three, Knight, who carried 14 times for 69 yards and caught all three of his targets for 34 yards in relief of Carter last weekend versus Chicago, looks like the upside play, though Johnson (five carries for 62 yards and TD, plus one catch for 16 yards against the Bears) should also factor in, while Robinson (a healthy scratch last week) will look to reclaim a role in New York's backfield in his return to the mix. Carter's next chance to return to the lineup will arrive in Week 14 when the Jets face the Bills on the road.

Antonio Gibson RB | NE
Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Suiting up Sunday
Gibson (foot) is listed as active Sunday at the Giants.
Gibson sandwiched limited practices around an absence from Thursday's practice during Week 13 prep, the result of a foot issue. The injury may have been the impetus for Gibson getting out-touched, 20-12, by rookie Brian Robinson last Sunday against the Falcons. Because Gibson seemingly is operating at less than 100 percent, such a breakdown may be the reality for the Commanders backfield this time around, too. Having said that, Gibson nonetheless has put together a six-game streak with double-digit touches in which he's averaged 69.3 yards from scrimmage per game and scored three total touchdowns.

James Robinson RB | NO
Jets' James Robinson: Part of Week 13 committee
Jets head coach Robert Saleh said Robinson is expected to be part of a three-man backfield committee Sunday against the Vikings that also includes Zonovan Knight and Ty Johnson, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The Jets made Robinson a surprise healthy inactive ahead of last week's game against the Bears, with Michael Carter, Knight and Johnson serving as the team's backfield options in the 31-10 win. Carter suffered a low-ankle sprain in the second half of that contest and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game, and with the Jets already proceeding as though Carter will be out, Robinson will re-enter the mix as at least a No. 3 option. Because Knight (17 touches for 103 yards) and Johnson (six for 78) were efficient with their opportunities last week, it's reasonable to expect both to be ahead of Robinson in the pecking order for snaps in Week 13, even though Robinson has more experience as a lead back in the NFL.
