Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Stymied on ground in win
Elliott rushed 13 times for 27 yards and brought in one of two targets for nine yards in the Cowboys' 31-14 wild-card win over the Buccaneers on Monday night.
Elliott has often derived his fantasy value from cashing in his red-zone opportunities, but absent those Monday night, he was limited to a middling performance. The veteran back logged two fewer carries than backfield mate Tony Pollard, and Dak Prescott vultured one red-zone rushing touchdown before Michael Gallup recorded a two-yard scoring grab in the third quarter after Elliott got the ball down to the two-yard line. The veteran back could struggle again in Sunday's divisional-round road clash against the 49ers' elite run defense.

Tony Pollard RB | TEN
Cowboys' Tony Pollard: Efficient effort in wild-card win
Pollard rushed 15 times for 77 yards and secured all three of his targets for 12 yards in the Cowboys' 31-14 wild-card win over the Buccaneers on Monday night.
Pollard was able to put together a solid performance, parlaying his touches into an efficient night that saw him lead the Cowboys' backfield in yardage by a wide margin. However, Ezekiel Elliott logged just two fewer carries, and both players project to play key roles in Sunday's divisional-round road matchup against an elite 49ers run defense.

Godwin Igwebuike RB | PIT
Seahawks' Godwin Igwebuike: Effective kick returner
Igwebuike rushed three times for four yards and caught his lone target for three yards over five regular-season games in 2022.
Igwebuike was called up from the practice squad after a slew of injuries to Seattle's backfield. While Igwebuike barely played on offense, he was solid as a kick returner with 308 yards on 11 returns, including a 50-yard return. Igwebuike will aim to make it on a roster in 2023 with his special-teams skills.

D'vonte Price RB | IND
D'Vonte Price: Deal with Indy expires
Price's (undisclosed) practice-squad contract with the Colts expired Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Price spent the preseason with Indianapolis before getting waived as part of the team's final roster cuts in late August. The undrafted rookie then spent the entire season on the practice squad outside of his lone elevation Week 6. He then remained idle before landing on the practice-squad injured list with an undisclosed issue Nov. 9. While the nature of this injury was never revealed, Price will now look to secure a new contract at some point this offseason.

DeeJay Dallas RB | JAC
Seahawks' DeeJay Dallas: Best rushing season
Dallas carried 35 times for 186 yards and caught 17 of 19 targets for 126 yards through 15 games during the 2022 season. He also returned 14 punts for 102 yards and 12 kicks for 270 yards.
When the whole backfield was healthy, Dallas was often left out of the rotation, but when Rashaad Penny (leg) and Travis Homer (ankle) went down with injuries, Dallas got some run and was effective. After posting 3.2 and 4.2 yards per carry, respectively, through his first two NFL seasons, Dallas logged an efficient 5.3 yards per carry in 2022. Dallas is entering the final year of his contract in 2023 and is a good bet to make the team, especially if Homer and Penny leave in free agency.

Darwin Thompson RB | LV
Seahawks' Darwin Thompson: Remains in Seattle
Seattle signed Thompson to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Thompson earned a practice-squad contract after failing to make the Seahawks' initial 53-man roster, but he didn't make any appearances during the 2022 campaign. The Utah State product impressed during limited preseason action, and with his new contract, he'll have a chance to build off what he did with Seattle this year throughout the upcoming offseason.

Larry Rountree III RB | HOU
Chargers' Larry Rountree: Earns another deal from Chargers
The Chargers signed Rountree to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Rountree was elevated ahead of Saturday's loss to the Jaguars in the wild-card round. He then reverted to the practice squad Monday after exclusively playing on special teams during this season-ending defeat, per the NFL's transaction log. The 23-year-old will now get another opportunity to carve out a bigger role heading into this third NFL season in 2023. Rountree has recorded 49 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown over the past two seasons with the Chargers.

La'Mical Perine RB | PIT
La'Mical Perine: Back to practice squad Monday
Perine reverted to the Dolphins' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Perine was elevated ahead of Sunday's wild-card loss to Buffalo to help provide depth with primary running back Raheem Mostert ruled out due to a broken thumb. While the 24-year-old Perine was active, he never wound up seeing the field behind Jeff Wilson and Salvon Ahmed, as these two were the only Dolphins running backs to log any carries. As a result, Perine failed to appear in a game over the course of a season for the first time in his three-year career.

Jashaun Corbin RB | NE
Jashaun Corbin: Back to practice squad
Corbin reverted to the Giants' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Corbin was elevated for the Giants' wild-card matchup against Minnesota, but he was ultimately left inactive. The 24-year-old running back has yet to make his NFL debut.

Kevin Harris RB | JAC
Patriots' Kevin Harris: Logs 18 carries in rookie season
Harris finished the 2022 season with 18 carries for 52 yards and a TD in five games.
As a rookie, the 2022 sixth-rounder saw limited action, with Rhamondre Stevenson and Damien Harris handling the bulk of the Patriots' backfield duties. With Damien Harris slated to become a free agent this offseason, there could be carries available next season for Kevin Harris, as well as 2022 fourth-rounder Pierre Strong. Though Kevin Harris is no threat to overtake Stevenson as the team's top early-down option, the 5-foot-10, 225-pounder, who played his college ball at South Carolina, could potentially yield occasional fantasy utility in 2023, in the event that Stevenson misses time for any reason.
