George Holani RB | SEA
Seahawks' George Holani: Lands on IR
The Seahawks placed Holani (hamstring) on injured reserve Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Holani was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings due to a hamstring injury he sustained against the Titans in Week 12. The injury is severe enough for him to warrant a stint on injured reserve, which means Holani will be required to miss at least the next four games, making him eligible to make his return in Week 17 against the Panthers on Saturday, Dec. 27. Rashid Shaheed and Cody White will handle return duties on kickoffs in Holani's absence, and Cam Akers and Myles Gaskin will provide backfield depth behind Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet.

Trayveon Williams RB | CLE
Chargers' Trayveon Williams: Elevated off practice squad
The Chargers elevated Williams from their practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus the Raiders.
Williams will be elevated for the third straight game and will provide additional depth at running back due to Omarion Hampton (ankle) being out. The 28-year-old Williams has carried the ball three times for a loss of one yard so far this season and will likely have a limited role again Sunday. This is the final time this season that the team can elevate Williams, and they will have to sign him to the active roster in order for him to appear in another game.

Jaret Patterson RB | LAC
Chargers' Jaret Patterson: Signed to active roster
The Chargers signed Patterson to the active roster from their practice squad Saturday.
Patterson will provide additional depth at running back during Sunday's matchup versus the Raiders, as Omarion Hampton (ankle) will be sidelined for at least one more game. Patterson had already been elevated from the practice squad the maximum three times, carrying the ball 21 times for 75 yards across those appearances.

Owen Wright RB | TB
Owen Wright: Let go by Tampa Bay
The Buccaneers waived Wright on Saturday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Wright is headed to waivers just two weeks after he was signed to the active roster from the practice squad. The 26-year-old carried the ball just three times for six yards across three games played and will now look to catch on with another team.

Christopher Brooks RB | GB
Packers' Chris Brooks: Logs two catches on Thanksgiving
Brooks didn't get any carries but caught both of his targets for nine yards in Thursday's 31-24 win over Detroit.
On a day when six different Packers -- including three WRs -- got at least one carry, Brooks was invisible in the running game. However, he did notch a pair of catches to ensure his name appeared in the box score. Brooks has 11 rushes and 10 catches on the campaign as Green Bay's No. 3 RB, so it's not out of the norm for him to be featured more as a pass catcher than as a ball carrier during his limited offensive snaps.

Malik Davis RB | DAL
Cowboys' Malik Davis: Scores first TD of 2025
Davis turned three carries into 47 yards and a touchdown during the Cowboys' 31-28 win over the Chiefs on Thursday.
Davis played just nine snaps on offense compared to Javonte Williams' 56, but the former helped give the Cowboys a 17-14 lead in the second quarter with a 43-yard touchdown run. With rookie fifth-rounder Jaydon Blue a healthy scratch for each of Dallas' last four games, Davis appears to be fully entrenched as the RB2 behind Williams, though the latter figures to still serve as the team's workhorse out of the backfield. Davis has logged 10 carries for 91 yards across three games since the Cowboys' Week 10 bye.

Rasheen Ali RB | BAL
Ravens' Rasheen Ali: Out-snaps Henry on Thanksgiving Day
Ali turned four carries into 17 yards and three kickoff returns into 71 yards during the Ravens' 32-14 loss to the Bengals on Thursday.
Ali had just four touches on offense during Thursday's loss, though his 29 snaps were notably higher than RB1 Derrick Henry (24) as game script worked against the latter. Ali figures to serve as the Ravens' RB2 behind Henry and ahead of Keaton Mitchell for as long as Justice Hill (neck) is on injured reserve.
-
Keaton Mitchell RB | LAC
Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: First rushing TD of season
Mitchell turned two carries into 19 yards and a touchdown while adding two catches (on three targets) for 12 yards during the Ravens' 32-14 loss to the Bengals on Thursday. He also logged 91 return yards on three kickoffs.
Mitchell saw the field for just eight snaps on offense, but he made the most of his limited opportunities with four touches, including an 18-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter. It was his first touchdown of the season and first score since Week 10 of the 2023 campaign. Mitchell is still firmly entrenched as the Ravens' RB3 behind Derrick Henry and Rasheen Ali, but Mitchell should still see consistent playing time on special teams as a returner on kickoffs.
-
Brashard Smith RB | KC
Chiefs' Brashard Smith: Phased out of offense
Smith returned one kickoff for 33 yards during the Chiefs' 31-28 loss to the Cowboys on Thursday.
Smith played just five snaps and didn't see a touch on offense following Isiah Pacheco's return from a three-game absence due to a knee injury. Smith figures to see seldom use on offense in games for which Pacheco and Kareem Hunt are both active, though Smith should continue to see work on kickoffs as a returner.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Struggles continue
Barkley rushed the ball 13 times for 56 yards in Friday's 24-15 loss to the Bears. He did not record a catch on two targets.
Barkley was fairly efficient on the ground in a change from his recent form, as six of his 13 carries went for at least five yards. However, with the Eagles trailing for much of the game, Barkley saw limited volume, leading to a muted stat line. He also failed to record a reception in a game for the first time this season. Overall, this marked Barkley's ninth performance in 12 games this season with 60 rushing yards or fewer, and he hasn't found the end zone since Week 8.
