Barkley said after hyperextending his left elbow during Sunday's 14-7 win over the Commanders that he will "be alright" for the Giants' Week 8 game against the Jets, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Barkley logged 21 carries for 77 yards and caught three of four targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in the win over Washington. His score came after hyperextending his elbow earlier in the contest, an injury that occurred during the game's second drive. Barkley was able to finish the contest with a sleeve on his left arm and elbow, which lends credence to the notion that he again will be able to play through the injury unabated when the Giants face the Jets. Barkley also reiterated after Sunday's win that he wants to remain in New York as the NFL's Oct. 31 trade deadline draws closer.

Gainwell rushed eight times for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Dolphins.

D'Andre Swift (15-62-0) did the heavy lifting for Philadelphia on the ground, but it was Gainwell who cashed in a short touchdown on the Eagles' final scoring drive. It was the backup's first trip to the end zone in six games this season. The curious coaching decision to start Gainwell over Swift back in Week 1 is looking more like an anomaly with each passing week, leaving the backup with only deep-league fantasy appeal heading into next Sunday's matchup against the Commanders.

Mostert had nine carries for 45 yards and one reception on three targets for six yards in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Eagles.

Mostert's 10 touches tied his previous low for the season, but he maintained a lofty mark of 5.6 yards per carry despite the low usage. Both of the veteran back's down games have unsurprisingly come in losses, as teams generally throw more while playing from behind. These sporadic games with low touch counts could wind up being a blessing in disguise over the course of the schedule for a player with Mostert's injury history. The 31-year-old has already amassed 103 combined touches through seven weeks after recording 212 over 16 games in 2022. Mostert and the Dolphins' entire offense will look to get back to their high-scoring ways in a home game against New England next Sunday.

Swift had 15 carries for 62 yards and caught all three of his targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 31-17 win over Miami.

Swift posted a more traditional running back stat line Sunday after seeing most of his fantasy production come as a receiver against the Jets in Week 6. The 24-year-old did have a touchdown opportunity vultured by backup Kenneth Gainwell (8-16-1) late in the contest that may have frustrated fantasy managers. Swift was able to earn back some of those potential points when he vultured two garbage-time carries from Gainwell on Philadelphia's ensuing drive, netting 19 additional yards despite the game being well in hand. Swift will continue serving his fruitful fantasy role as the lead back for a top offense when the Eagles face the Commanders next Sunday.

Breida carried the ball three times for four yards and caught his only target for five yards in Sunday's 14-7 Week 7 win over Washington.

Breida had seen an uptick in snaps with Saquon Barkley out with an ankle injury between Week 3 and Week 5, but he followed last Sunday's four-carry effort with just three totes against the Commanders. The veteran back didn't do much with his limited opportunities, as his four yards on the ground were a season-low mark. As long as Barkley is able to play, Breida has very limited fantasy value given the Giants' propensity to use Barkley heavily in both the running and passing game.

Gibson had two carries for seven yards and two catches for 24 yards in Sunday's 14-7 loss to the Giants.

Gibson remains the top choice in obvious passing situations but now seems to be behind both Brian Robinson and Chris Rodriguez for carries. Rodriguez took a season-high seven carries for 31 yards Sunday, with Robinson getting eight totes for 23 yards and a touchdown. It's been one of the least productive backfields in the league on a cumulative basis, with little hope for mainstream value from anyone if all three are sharing work heading into a Week 8 game against Philadelphia.

Warren rushed six times for 32 yards and a touchdown and brought in one of two targets for minus-1 yard in the Steelers' 24-17 win over the Rams on Sunday.

Warren put together a typically efficient performance while recording his first touchdown of the campaign on a 13-yard scoring run early in the fourth quarter. The OSU product wasn't able to contribute in the passing game as usual, but he remains a very effective complementary option to Najee Harris heading into a Week 8 home matchup against the Jaguars.

Reynolds recorded three carries for 16 yards in Sunday's 38-6 loss to the Ravens. He added one catch for nine yards.

The Lions backfield was in flux heading into Sunday's matchup, though Reynolds ultimately ended up as the second back behind Jahmyr Gubbs with David Montgomery (ribs) sidelined. His role was limited even so, as Detroit was willing to get Gibbs heavily involved as both a rusher and receiver. Reynolds will return to primarily a special teams role once Montgomery can retake the field.

Hill rushed the ball four times for 46 yards in Sunday's 38-6 win over the Lions. He added one reception for two yards.

Hill accounted for only four of the 18 rushing attempts by Baltimore's running backs, and he worked as the clear backup to Gus Edwards. That could be in part due to game script, as the Ravens played from ahead for the entire matchup. Hill did make the most of his chances, tallying the team's fourth-longest play from scrimmage with a 27-yard run midway through the second quarter. Hill has now topped 40 rushing yards just twice in six games on the campaign.

Edwards rushed the ball 14 times for 64 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-6 win over the Lions. He added one reception on one target for 80 yards.

Edwards handled nearly all of the work out of Baltimore's backfield, accounting for 14 of 18 carries by the team's running backs. He did well with the opportunity, tallying a long gain of 20 yards while also finding the end zone from two yards away. Edwards capped his performance with an 80-yard catch-and-run midway through the third quarter. His production as a pass catcher shouldn't be counted on given that he has only four targets in seven games this season, but he has a role near the goal line and is a threat to score on a weekly basis.
