  • Browns' Pierre Strong: Makes cameo on offense

Strong had one carry for one yard and caught his lone target for four yards in Sunday's 13-10 win over the Steelers.

Three weeks ago, it looked like there could be a role for Strong in Cleveland's offense, but he's been limited to eight snaps over the last three games, including his three against Pittsburgh. He maintains a spot as a kick returner, but all three kickoffs from the Steelers were touchbacks. If Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt stay healthy, there's little room for Strong in the backfield.

  • Samaje Perine RB | CIN

Broncos' Samaje Perine: Perfect receiving night

Perine gained seven yards on his lone rush attempt while catching all seven of his targets for 60 yards in Sunday's 21-20 win over Minnesota.

Perine finished with one carry for the third consecutive week, but it was his work as a receiver that made an impact in the box score. The veteran backup racked up more than half of his production on the Broncos' game-winning touchdown drive in the closing moments of Sunday's win. Perine was not the beneficiary of the aforementioned score, but he strung together chunks of yardage on four consecutive receptions that helped bring Denver within striking distance of Minnesota's goal line. Javonte Williams is still the primary back heading into next Sunday's matchup against Cleveland, leaving Perine for those in deeper or PPR formats.

  • Ty Johnson RB | BUF

Bills' Ty Johnson: Scores TD against former club

Johnson carried the ball three times for 11 yards and caught all three of his targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-6 win over the Jets.

After seeing only two offensive snaps in his first four games as a Bill, Johnson suddenly found himself with a real workload in the backfield -- the most noticeable change new offensive coordinator Joe Brady made in his first game at the helm. Johnson's first touches came on Buffalo's third possession late in the first quarter, and he capped his big performance with a 28-yard TD catch from Josh Allen early in the third. Johnson, who played for the Jets from 2020-22, could be taking on a consistent change-of-pace role behind James Cook heading into a Week 12 trip to Philadelphia.

  • Ty Chandler RB | NO

Vikings' Ty Chandler: Impressive with 14 touches Sunday

Chandler rushed 10 times for 73 yards and secured all four targets for 37 yards in the Vikings' 21-20 loss to the Broncos on Sunday night.

Chandler logged eight fewer carries but only eight fewer rushing yards than backfield mate Alexander Mattison, who managed to return despite an early Week 10 exit due to a concussion. Chandler had averaged only 3.0 yards per carry while pulling emergency duty in that contest, but the second-year back was exponentially more efficient Sunday with the help of a game-long 31-yard run. The 2022 fifth-round pick's work as a pass catcher was also noteworthy, and given his solid body of work versus Denver, Chandler seems likely to enjoy a fairly robust No. 2 role against the Bears in a Week 12 home divisional matchup Monday night, Nov. 27.

  • James Cook RB | BUF

Bills' James Cook: Gets into end zone against Jets

Cook carried the ball 17 times for 73 yards and caught three of four targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-6 win over the Jets.

He was on the end of a five-yard TD from Josh Allen late in the second quarter to give the Bills a 16-0 lead they were never in any danger of relinquishing. With new offensive coordinator Joe Brady in charge, Cook saw at least 20 touches for the first time since Week 2, an encouraging development after the second-year RB had averaged only 12.8 over the prior six games, but he'll face a tough test on the road in Week 12 against an Eagles defense that had allowed the fewest scrimmage yards in the league to running backs coming into this week.

  • Broncos' Javonte Williams: Struggles with 13 touches

Williams rushed 11 times for 37 yards and caught both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 21-20 win over the Vikings.

Williams had a rough go of things on the ground against the Vikings, who have been stingy against the run this season (94.0 yards/game). The 23-year-old was also coming off consecutive games with 20-plus carries, so perhaps the talented back finally hit a wall after successfully returning from major injury this past offseason. Williams still operated as Denver's lead back, with no other RB recording more than one carry Sunday. Things won't get any easier for Williams in Week 12, as the Broncos prepare to face the Browns' top-rated defense next Sunday.

  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Finds end zone in Week 11 rout

Hall carried the ball 10 times for 23 yards and caught five of six targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-6 loss to the Bills.

The running back's nine-yard TD on a pass from Zach Wilson right before halftime accounted for the Jets' only points on the afternoon. New York's stagnant passing game has allowed defenses to stack the box against Hall and prevent him from beating them on the ground, but he's still been able to find some production -- over the last five games, he has just 157 yards and one touchdown rushing but 237 yards and two scores through the air. It's not yet clear whether coach Robert Saleh will keep Zach Wilson under center in Week 12 against the Dolphins or turn to career backup Tim Boyle, who took over in the second half Sunday, but neither QB is likely to make Hall's life easier.

  • Vikings' Alexander Mattison: Solid rushing numbers in loss

Mattison rushed 18 times for 81 yards and brought in his only target for minus-1 yard in the Vikings' 21-20 loss to the Broncos on Sunday night. He also lost a fumble.

Mattison got off to a hot start before his efficiency waned late, but he still finished with his highest rushing yardage total since Week 4. The fifth-year pro's fumble was also costly, as it came on the Broncos' 35-yard line and led to a Denver field goal. On the brighter side, Mattison made a remarkably quick recovery from his Week 10 concussion to suit up Sunday night and outpaced backfield mate Ty Chandler by eight carries, seemingly keeping his hold on the No. 1 running back job secure heading into a Week 12 home matchup against the Bears on Monday night, Nov. 27.

  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Gets back in end zone Sunday

McCaffrey carried the ball 21 times for 78 yards and caught all five of his targets for 25 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-14 win over the Buccaneers.

After seeing his 17-game touchdown streak end last week, McCaffrey wasted little time starting a new one, snagging a four-yard score from Brock Purdy with just under four minutes left in the first quarter. He also topped 100 scrimmage yards for the third straight game and the seventh time in 10 contests this season, and McCaffrey's on pace to reach 2,000 scrimmage yards for the second time in his career. He could be poised for a big game in Week 12 against a Seahawks defense that just gave up 102 combined yards and a TD to the much less impressive duo of Royce Freeman and Darrell Henderson.

  • Rams' Darrell Henderson: Scores short TD on 10 touches

Henderson gained one yard and scored a rushing touchdown on six carries while catching four of seven targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 17-16 win over Seattle.

Henderson teamed up with fellow veteran Royce Freeman (17-73-0) to replace injured starter Kyren Williams (ankle) on Sunday. Henderson was the beneficiary of the Rams' lone rushing touchdown from one yard out, but he was inefficient with most of his remaining touches. The 26-year-old saw his carries and efficiency as a runner decrease in each of his four weeks spent helping fill in as starter. The Rams are expecting Williams back against the Cardinals in Week 12, which would put Henderson's role and spot on the active roster in jeopardy.
