  • Lions' David Montgomery: Finds end zone in Week 13 win

Montgomery rushed 18 times for 56 yards and a touchdown and brought in one of two targets for minus-1 yard in the Lions' 33-28 win over the Saints on Sunday.

Montgomery opened the scoring on the afternoon with a two-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter, but the rest of his afternoon was largely a struggle. The workhorse back has now scored in four consecutive contests, and his carry count Sunday was his highest since Week 5. Montgomery now gets a second crack at his old Bears teammates in a Week 14 road divisional clash.

  • Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Elevated role after Robinson's exit

Gibson rushed 10 times for 35 yards and brought in four of five targets for 37 yards in the Commanders' 45-15 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. He also fumbled once but recovered.

Gibson saw expanded opportunity with Brian Robinson exiting the game with a hamstring injury, a development that led to the former's highest carry count of the season. Gibson also retained his usual pass-catching role in the blowout loss, and if the upcoming Week 14 bye doesn't afford Robinson enough recovery time, Gibson could serve as the lead back in a Week 15 road matchup against the Rams.

  • Zack Moss RB | CIN

Colts' Zack Moss: Stalled by Titans

Moss rushed the ball 19 times for 51 yards in Sunday's 31-28 overtime win over the Titans. He added two receptions on three targets for six yards.

Moss took over the lead-back role in the absence of Jonathan Taylor (thumb) and dominated opportunity, as no other running back saw a carry in the game. However, he disappointed with those chances, averaging only 2.7 yards per play and posting a game-long run of just five yards. Positively, Moss will retain a significant workload for the Colts' friendlier Week 14 matchup against the Bengals.

  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Doesn't do much with 19 touches

Hall (hamstring) rushed 13 times for 16 yards and caught six of eight targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 13-8 loss to the Falcons.

With defenses stacking the box and the offensive line failing to open up holes, Hall has been bottled up on the ground over the past two months. Since rushing for 117 yards and a touchdown against the Broncos in Week 5, Hall has just 198 rushing yards on 83 carries (2.4 YPC) and one rushing touchdown. Hall has made up for his struggles on the ground with contributions as a pass catcher over that seven-game span, catching 36 of 44 targets for 290 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't seem bothered by the hamstring injury that limited his practice participation leading up to Sunday's loss, and Hall hasn't had fewer than 14 touches in a game since Week 4, so he should continue to see plenty of volume in Week 14 against the Texans.

  • Jahmyr Gibbs RB | DET

Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs: Nine touches in Week 13 win

Gibbs rushed eight times for 60 yards and brought in one of two targets for minus-6 yards in the Lions' 33-28 win over the Saints on Sunday.

The explosive rookie back looked like he might be on his way to a big day early with a 36-yard run on his first touch, but that would turn out to be the highlight of his afternoon. Backfield mate David Montgomery outpaced Gibbs by 10 rush attempts, although the latter did gain four more rushing yards. Gibbs hasn't topped 11 carries in any of his last three games, although a Week 14 road matchup in Chicago could prove to be a more conducive to the ground attack for the entirety of the contest.

  • Bijan Robinson RB | ATL

Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Gets 21 touches against Jets

Robinson rushed 18 times for 53 yards and caught three of five targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 13-8 win over the Jets.

Robinson had just six rushing yards on eight first-half carries but found more running room in the second half as New York's defense wore down. Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson combined for 37 yards on 13 rushing attempts, so Robinson continues to face competition for touches despite being the most effective running back in the Falcons' run-heavy offense. Nonetheless, Robinson has averaged 18.7 rushing attempts over the past three games and topped 50 rushing yards in five consecutive games. He should remain the top option in Atlanta's busy backfield in Week 14 against the Buccaneers.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Scores twice in Week 13 loss

Kamara rushed 14 times for 51 yards and two touchdowns and brought in six of eight targets for 58 yards in the Saints' 33-28 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

Kamara was able to put a bow on a productive fantasy day with two- and one-yard touchdown runs in the second half, and he also enjoyed an elevated pass-catching role with the Saints down both Rashid Shaheed (thigh) and Michael Thomas (IR-knee). The veteran back has no fewer than four catches in seven straight contests, and he's cleared the 50-yard mark on the ground in back-to-back games. Kamara next takes aim at an inconsistent Panthers run defense in a Week 14 home divisional clash.

  • Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Set for tests on ankle

Initial X-rays on Stevenson's right ankle were negative and the belief is that the running back's MRI will reveal a sprain, according to Jeff Howe of The Athletic.

The results of Stevenson's MRI thus loom large, but with the Patriots on a short week and playing again Thursday against the Steelers, the running back's Week 14 status is cloudy. If Stevenson is unavailable versus Pittsburgh, added backfield touches will be on tap for Ezekiel Elliott, with Ty Montgomery and JaMycal Hasty available in reserve.

  • Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Lead back after Stevenson injury

Elliott (thigh) rushed 17 times for 52 yards and caught four of five targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 6-0 loss to the Chargers.

Elliott took over as the lead back after Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) exited in the first half. The former Dallas running back finished with season highs in both touches and scrimmage yards. Stevenson will be hard-pressed to recover on a short week before Thursday's road game in Pittsburgh, so Elliott's likely to retain the lead role in Week 14.

  • Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Finds end zone on quiet day

Mostert rushed 11 times for 43 yards and a touchdown and brought in his only target for eight yards in the Dolphins' 45-15 win over the Commanders on Sunday.

As expected, the Dolphins' passing game took center stage Sunday in a matchup that lined up particularly well on paper, but Mostert was able to salvage an otherwise non-descript day with a one-yard scoring plunge late in the first half. Mostert was eventually outgained by returning rookie De'Von Achane, who got plenty of garbage-time opportunity, but it appears the former remains the top early-down option in Miami's backfield heading into a Week 14 home matchup against a tough Titans run defense on Monday night, Dec. 11.
