Tannehill (ankle) remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs and is being treated as a game-time decision, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Network relays the Titans don't have a lot of optimism about the quarterback suiting up for the contest.

After missing the Titans' Week 8 win over the Texans with a right ankle sprain, Tannehill was what Rapoport described as a "very, very limited" participant in practice this week. While Tannehill made the trip to Kansas City and is said to be doing everything in his power to play, early indications are that the signal-caller will be sidelined for a second straight game. Rookie Malik Willis, who started last week and took most of the first-team work in practice this week, thus looks to be trending toward another start, with Logan Woodside slated to serve as Willis' backup in that scenario. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Titans are looking to closely guard their quarterback plans until pregame warmups, so clarity on the status of Tannehill may not arrive until the team releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff.

Willis took most of the first-team reps in practice this week and could be on tap for another start Sunday in Kansas City with Ryan Tannehill (ankle) listed as questionable for the contest but uncertain to be available, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Though Tannehill traveled to Kansas City and is being treated as a game-time decision, Rapoport relays that the quarterback was "very, very limited" in practice this week after sitting out the Titans' Week 8 win over the Texans. While Tannehill plans to do everything he can to play, Rapoport suggests that there's "not a lot of optimism" the veteran signal-caller will be ready to play. With that in mind, Willis may be primed for a second consecutive start, but the Titans would undoubtedly prefer to lean heavily on the Derrick Henry-led ground attack for as long as the game flow allows for it. Even so, keeping pace with the Chiefs' prolific offense won't be an easy task, so if Willis starts, expect him to drop back more frequently than he did last week, when he attempted just 10 passes. While the rookie is unproven as a passer at the NFL, Willis demonstrated elite rushing ability in college and during the preseason, so he could have some intrigue in leagues that start two quarterbacks or have a QB flex lineup spot available. Fantasy managers will still want to have an alternative plan on hand for Willis, however, if Tannehill avoids the inactive list ahead of Sunday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff.

Backup Malik Willis would again be called upon to helm Tennessee's offense if Tannehill can't go, though the rookie only managed to complete six of 10 passes for 55 yards and an interception in his debut last week in a 17-10 win over the Texans.

Woodside has been elevated from the Titans' practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Woodside has been elevated for the second consecutive week with Ryan Tannehill's (ankle) status still unclear. If Tannehill is unable to suit up, Woodside will serve as the backup to Malik Willis.

It's a bit of a complicated situation for fantasy managers given Sunday's matchup between the Titans and Chiefs takes place at 8:20 p.m. ET, but this is at least a step in the right direction in order for Tannehill to be active. The veteran signal caller missed last week's win against the Texans and saw rookie backup Malik Willis struggle mightily to the tune of just six completions and an interception while throwing less than 60 yards. Head coach Mike Vrabel previously called Tannehill a "game-time decision," but it wouldn't be surprising to hear more information regarding his status emerge throughout the course of Sunday.

Rodgers (thumb) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Detroit, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

He'll continue playing through the same injury that's limited his practice participation for a few weeks now. The bigger question for Rodgers is whether wide receivers Allen Lazard (shoulder) and Christian Watson (concussion) will play, as both are listed as questionable, and the Packers don't exactly have talent to spare at the position. Rodgers does get an A+ matchup, at least, playing in a dome against a Lions defense ranked dead last in both points and yards allowed.

Per Turron Davenport of ESPN.com, Tannehill's status for Sunday night's game against the Chiefs has yet to be determined. However, it's possible that added context with regard to the QB's chances of suiting up will arrive Saturday prior to the Titans traveling to Kansas City, according to Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com. If Tannehill -- who is officially listed as questionable -- isn't available to play this weekend, the Titans once again would be in line to turn to rookie Malik Willis, who helmed the offense in the team's 17-10 win over the Texans in Week 8.

Mills completed 13 of 22 passes for 154 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Texans' 29-17 loss to the Eagles on Thursday night. He also rushed three times for 18 yards.

In fairness to the second-year quarterback, he was not only facing an unenviable matchup, but doing so while operating without the starting wideout duo of Brandin Cooks (wrist/personal) and Nico Collins (groin). Mills still found a way to keep the Texans competitive most of the game with some significant help from rookie running back Dameon Pierce (139 rushing yards), tossing two- and 13-yard touchdown passes to Teagan Quitoriano and Chris Moore, respectively, in the first half. However, Mills was also responsible for snuffing out Houston's last-gasp opportunity, throwing his second interception at the Eagles' three-yard line with just over two minutes remaining on an apparent miscommunication with Phillip Dorsett. Mills now has tossed four interceptions in the last three games and fallen short of 200 passing yards in two straight, but he could at least have Cooks back for a Week 10 road matchup against the Giants, considering Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports the veteran wideout is expected back at team facilities Friday.

Hurts completed 21 of 27 passes for 243 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and rushed nine times for 23 yards in the Eagles' 29-17 win over the Texans on Thursday night. He also committed two fumbles, losing one, and recorded a two-point conversion run.

Hurts was under duress frequently courtesy of a feisty Texans front, taking four sacks and losing the football on one occasion. Houston also did a good job containing Hurts whenever he took off with the ball, but the third-year quarterback ultimately did plenty of damage through the air, primarily in conjunction with Dallas Goedert and A.J. Brown. Hurts connected with the latter for a 17-yard score shortly before the halfway point of the third quarter to break a 14-14 tie, and he subsequently hit his talented tight end for a four-yard touchdown early in the final period for the final points of the night. Hurts now boasts an 8:0 TD:INT over his last three games, giving him plenty of momentum going into a Week 10 home divisional showdown against the Commanders on Monday night, Nov. 14.

Tannehill (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Per Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site, Tannehill, who was limited in Wednesday's practice, was spotted in the locker room with his right ankle taped. In his absence from Thursday's session, Malik Willis logged added QB reps for Tennessee. Friday's final injury report should add a degree of clarity with regard to Tannehill's chances of being in uniform Sunday against Kansas City, but it seems inevitable that he'll head into the weekend with a Week 9 injury designation.
