Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Stafford's neck injury isn't a long-term issue, and the quarterback is expected to have a "healthy offseason," Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

This essentially confirms Stafford is done for the year, which was expected after he was placed on IR ahead of Sunday's loss to Seattle due to a spinal cord contusion. However, this appears to be a promising update for the future, as a healthy offseason should allow Stafford to work out some of the kinks that led to a disappointing 2022 campaign.

Jackson is believed to have suffered a mild left knee sprain in Sunday's 10-9 win over the Broncos, but a firm diagnosis for his injury won't arrive until the results of his MRI on Monday are made available, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Jackson suffered the injury on the final play of the first quarter of Sunday's game, when Broncos defender Jonathan Cooper landed on top of him on a sack. The signal-caller was evaluated in a medical tent on the sideline before heading to the locker room, with the Ravens then ruling him out for the day coming out of halftime. Backup Tyler Huntley stepped in and guided the Ravens to a go-ahead touchdown drive in the final minute, and he would be in line to start the team's Week 14 game in Pittsburgh next weekend if Jackson is unable to play. For now, the Ravens seem hopeful that Jackson avoided a major injury, even though head coach John Harbaugh suggested after Sunday's game that the star quarterback was somewhere between day-to-day and week-to-week, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. Unless the MRI reveals more serious damage to Jackson's knee than anticipated, Rapoport relays that the Ravens are optimistic the 25-year-old will need to miss just one game at the most.

Coach Doug Pederson said Lawrence will undergo an MRI on his left foot Monday, but the quarterback is trending in the right direction, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

Lawrence took a hard hit on the final play of the first half and bent his left leg awkwardly, but he was able to get to the locker room under his own power and was back on the field to start the second half. It appears the MRI is merely precautionary, but the results should provide further clarity on Lawrence's availability for practice this week.

With Matthew Stafford (neck) on IR, Wolford drew his second start of the season Week 13 and completed 14 of 26 passes for 178 yards and two interceptions. Wolford played all but one offensive snap but appears to have picked up a neck injury of his own. With the Rams on a short week, it's very possible Bryce Perkins could be in line to start Thursday's matchup against Las Vegas. However, Wolford's participation at practice this week likely will provide further clarity on the team's quarterback situation.

Walker (ankle) is expected to suit up in Week 14 versus the Seahawks, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official website reports.

Walker will be ready to go for the Panthers' first game following their bye week after missing the last two contests with an ankle sprain. With Baker Mayfield being let go Monday, Walker will likely operate as the top backup quarterback option behind Sam Darnold for the stretch run. Walker has produced 731 passing yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions while also rushing for 39 yards over six games this year.

The Panthers waived Mayfield on Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Mayfield's $1.35 million salary for the remainder of the 2022 season would be assumed by any team that successfully claims him on waivers, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, which could play a factor in determining his next landing spot. A number of teams could have interest in giving the 2018 first-round pick another chance, including quarterback-needy clubs like the Texans, the Rams -- who placed Matthew Stafford (neck) on IR on Saturday -- or the 49ers, who lost Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) to a season-ending injury Sunday. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Mayfield requested to part ways with the Panthers, and the team agreed. Through seven games this season, he has completed 57.8 percent of his passes for 1,313 yards, six touchdowns and six interceptions.

The Lions are expected to sign Dobbs to their practice squad Monday, Jonathan Jones of CBSSports.com reports.

After Dobbs was waived by the Browns on Nov. 28, the quarterback will get another opportunity with the Lions' practice unit. The 27-year-old hasn't appeared in a game since 2020 and will operate as an additional depth option behind Jared Goff moving forward.

The Panthers are expected to waive Mayfield on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Mayfield, who likely would have dropped down to No. 3 on Carolina's depth chart behind Sam Darnold when PJ Walker (ankle) returns to health, will instead hit waivers. The 2018 first overall pick has managed just a 6:6 TD:INT through seven appearances with the Panthers this season, and it looks like the team would rather address other needs on the 53-man roster than continue to carry him. Mayfield could draw interest on waivers from teams with a need at quarterback, such as the 49ers in the wake of Jimmy Garoppolo's season-ending foot injury.

Prescott completed 20 of 30 pass attempts for 170 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 54-19 blowout win over the Colts.

The Cowboys got off to a slow start offensively, but Prescott got cooking with a strong two-minute drill to end the first half en route to a three-touchdown performance. The anemic yardage total was the result of Dallas' defense giving the offense incredible field position all game long via five turnovers. The 29-year-old has yet to eclipse 300 yards passing in a game this season, a feat he accomplished five times in 2021. Prescott will have a good opportunity to correct that Sunday against a Texans defense that has surrendered the fifth-most yards to opposing offenses this season (378.3 per game).

Carr completed 16 of 30 passes for 250 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Chargers.

While it wasn't an efficient performance, Carr once again flashed his impressive chemistry with Davante Adams, who hauled in a massive 70.8 percent of the Raiders' passing yards as well as both of the team's passing TDs -- with the scores coming in the third quarter as the Raiders erased a 13-10 halftime deficit. Carr has tossed multiple touchdowns in five straight games, a streak he'll look to extend Thursday against a Rams defense that just allowed Geno Smith to set a new career high in passing yards.
