Coach Kliff Kingsbury confirmed after Sunday's 24-15 loss to the Broncos that McCoy is in concussion protocol, Jose M. Romero of AZCentral Sports reports.

McCoy was ruled out of the game due to a concussion, and he will need to pass the NFL's five-step concussion protocol before he can return to game action. Doing so before the Buccaneers come to town in Week 16 won't be easy, so Trace McSorley could be in line to make his first start of the season if McCoy joins Kyler Murray (knee) on the sideline.

Howell (coach's decision) has been deemed inactive ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants.

Howell was ruled a healthy scratch in each game before stepping up as the Commanders' No. 2 quarterback behind Taylor Heinicke since Week 7. However, previous starter Carson Wentz (finger) is now set to take over the team's backup duties after being activated from IR on Monday. Barring additional injury to Wentz and/or Heinicke, it's likely Howell will remain sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Prescott completed 23 of 30 passes for 256 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 40-34 loss to the Jaguars. He added five rushes for 20 yards.

Prescott got off to a hot start, as he completed 15 of 16 passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns through the first two quarters. He slowed a bit in the second half but still managed long completions of 39, 25 and 22 yards -- each of which went to CeeDee Lamb. Prescott also tallied three passing touchdowns for the third time this season, each of which has come in his last six games. Despite all of the positives, Prescott's performance ended on a sour note, as the Jaguars picked off a tipped pass and returned it for the game-winning touchdown in overtime.

McCoy has been ruled out of Sunday's game in Denver with a concussion, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

McCoy was getting his second stint of the campaign as Arizona's starting quarterback after Kyler Murray suffered a season-ending ACL tear last Monday against the Patriots. After dealing with a neck injury in practice this week and now picking up a concussion on top of the existing health concern, McCoy's status in the short term is extremely murky. Trace McSorley will be the Cards' signal-caller for the rest of Week 15 and potentially beyond that point.

Driskel completed two of four passes for eight yards and rushed four times for eight yards in the Texans' 30-24 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.

Driskel once again worked in conjunction with Davis Mills at quarterback, but the latter put up 24 pass attempts to Driskel's four. The versatile signal-caller appears likely to continue to cede the majority of passing work to Mills in a Week 16 road battle versus the Titans on Saturday afternoon.

Mills completed 12 of 24 passes for 121 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and rushed five times for 25 yards and another score in the Texans' 30-24 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

Mills was far from efficient, but his surprising three-touchdown tally was certainly a boon for those who may have rolled with the second-year signal-caller in large-field DFS contests or as a desperation play on their season-long teams. Mills continued to split time with Jeff Driskel under center but to a very minor degree, as the latter put up only four attempts. The pair of scoring connections came in connections with tight ends Teagan Quitoriano and Jordan Akins, giving Mills his fifth two-touchdown performance through the air this season. The 2021 third-round pick is likely to remain the primary quarterback in a Week 16 divisional road matchup against the Titans on Saturday afternoon.

Tannehill returned to Sunday's against the Chargers after sustaining an ankle injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Tannehill was carted off the field after suffering an ankle injury on the Titans' first possession, but he was subsequently able to return to the contest in the second quarter. While he was sidelined, Malik Willis handled the team's QB reps.

Ridder completed 13 of 26 passes for 97 yards and rushed six times for 38 yards during Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Saints.

Ridder completed just half of his pass attempts and had an interception overturned to start the second half, resulting in an extremely disappointing debut through the air. However, the rookie third-round pick attempted to salvage his offensive production by showcasing his dual-threat ability. Overall, there wasn't much to take away from Ridder's performance, but the lone bright spot was the connection he appeared to have with fellow rookie Drake London, as the duo connected seven times (11 targets) for 70 yards. With Marcus Mariota (knee) out for the remainder of the regular season, Ridder should continue drawing starts, regardless of his performance.

Wilson completed 18 of 35 passes for 317 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Lions. He added three rushing attempts for seven yards.

After a quiet first quarter, Wilson produced consecutive big plays through the air to open the second, finding Garrett Wilson for a 33-yard gain before tossing a 40-yard touchdown to C.J. Uzomah to tie the score at 7-7. Later in the second quarter, Wilson uncorked a 50-yard deep ball to Jeff Smith to set up a field goal to end the first half. The second-year quarterback finished the first half with 185 passing yards and no turnovers, but he was picked off on the first possession after halftime on an ill-advised sideline throw. Wilson bounced back with a one-yard touchdown pass to Uzomah to give New York a 17-13 lead with 4:41 to go in the fourth quarter. Detroit retook the lead with 1:49 remaining, and while Wilson gave his team a chance with a 20-yard pass to Elijah Moore on 4th-and-18 with one second left, Greg Zuerlein missed a 58-yard field-goal attempt to drop the Jets to 7-7. New York plays again in just four days, which doesn't give Mike White (ribs) much time to recover from the injury that kept him out against the Lions, meaning Wilson will likely remain under center against the Jaguars in Week 16.

Trubisky completed 17 of 22 passes for 179 yards in Sunday's 24-16 win over the Panthers. He also rushed six times for nine yards and a touchdown.

Trubisky led the Steelers to a road victory while getting the nod over Mason Rudolph to replace injured starter Kenny Pickett (concussion). Along with connecting with top wideout Diontae Johnson for a season-high 10 catches, Trubisky added a scoring rush with a quarterback sneak during the third quarter. Despite his serviceable performance Sunday, Trubisky would figure to return to the sideline should Pickett be cleared for Week 16's game versus the Raiders.
