  • Dak Prescott QB | DAL

Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Stellar showing in key win

Prescott completed 27 of 35 passes for 347 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in the Cowboys' 40-34 win over the Eagles on Saturday. He also rushed six times for 41 yards and committed a fumble recovered by Dallas.

Prescott outdueled Gardner Minshew to prevent the Eagles from clinching both the NFC East crown and the top seed in the conference. Prescott most frequently bestowed his attention on CeeDee Lamb and Tony Pollard, hitting the former for 36- and seven-yard touchdown tosses in the second and fourth quarters. Prescott also connected with Michael Gallup from 12 yards out late in the third quarter to give Prescott his second straight three-touchdown effort and third in the last four contests. With the division and even top seed still in play, Prescott will aim to keep Dallas in contention for both during a Week 17 road matchup against the Titans on Thursday night.

  • Eagles' Gardner Minshew: Two TDs offset by three turnovers

Minshew completed 24 of 40 passes for 355 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, had four carries for five yards and another TD and fumbled twice (one lost) during Saturday's 40-34 loss at Dallas.

After handling all the first-team reps during Week 16 prep, Minshew got his first start of the season (and first since Week 18 of the 2021 campaign) for an injured Jalen Hurts, who is dealing with a sprained right shoulder. It's unclear if this will be the first of a handful of nods for Minshew down the stretch, but he fared well with volume while also committing at least three turnovers for the first time since Week 9 of his rookie 2019 season. With a pair of top wide receivers to work with in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, both of whom reached 100 yards Saturday, Minshew has enough skill-position talent to produce as long as he's directing the Eagles offense. If Hurts yields his starting spot to Minshew again Week 17, the latter will be facing the Saints on Sunday, Jan. 1.

  • Davis Mills QB | HOU

Texans' Davis Mills: Throws late touchdown for win

Mills completed 17 of 28 passes for 178 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Saturday's 19-14 win over the Texans. He added four rushes for eight yards.

Mills had very little production for the majority of the game, but he led two scoring drives late in the contest during which he accounted for 103 of his yards. That culminated with a six-yard, game-winning touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks with only three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. While Mills played a key role in the Texans' victory, he has failed to top 200 passing yards in four consecutive matchups while totaling five touchdowns.

  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Vikings' Kirk Cousins: Another big effort in win

Cousins completed 34 of 48 passes for 299 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's 27-24 win over the Giants.

While the veteran QB didn't quite manage to throw for 400 yards, or even 300, for a third straight game, Cousins still tossed three more touchdowns, giving him a 13:3 TD:INT over the last five contests. He's reached 4,000 passing yards for the third straight season and the seventh time in the last eight years, and Cousins will take massive momentum into a Week 17 clash with the Packers.

  • Malik Willis QB | MIA

Titans' Malik Willis: Ugly effort in loss

Willis completed 14 of 23 passes for 99 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Saturday's 19-14 loss to the Texans. He added seven rushes for 43 yards and a touchdown.

Willis drew his fourth start of the season with Ryan Tannehill (ankle) sidelined, but he struggled to get the Titans' offense moving. He averaged only 4.3 yards per attempt and his longest completion of the day went for just 14 yards. In addition, Willis threw a pair of interceptions, the first of which came on a potential game-winning drive inside Houston territory late in the fourth quarter. Positively, he did tally a 14-yard rushing score midway through the third quarter. While that hinted at his potential to excel, Willis' outlook for the final two games of the regular season is not positive.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Big yardage in loss to Vikes

Jones completed 30 of 42 passes for 334 yards and a touchdown with an interception in Saturday's 27-24 loss to Minnesota. He added 34 rushing yards on four carries.

The 30 completions were a season high for Jones and his yardage total was second only to his 341-yard performance in Week 11 against Detroit, but the fourth-year quarterback also displayed his old issues with ball security, coughing up a fumble that was recovered by right tackle Evan Neal. Jones has failed to toss multiple TD passes in six straight games, managing a 5:3 TD:INT over that stretch, and he may not be called on to do too much in Week 17 against the Colts.

  • Geno Smith QB | NYJ

Seahawks' Geno Smith: Middling performance in loss

Smith completed 25 of 40 pass attempts for 215 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Saturday's 24-10 loss to the Chiefs. He added 16 rushing yards on three attempts.

Smith turned in one of his poorer fantasy performances in an otherwise impressive 2022 campaign. The 32-year-old has struggled in recent weeks, averaging 239.0 passing yards while throwing three interceptions over his last three games. Things don't get any easier for Smith in Week 17 with a stout Jets defense on deck. In positive news, the veteran signal-caller may get explosive wideout Tyler Lockett (finger) back for next Sunday's tilt.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: Tale of two halves

Burrow was dominant in the first half against the Pats, and very shaky in the second half in the Bengals' 22-18 win. He ended up completing 40 of 52 passes for 375 yards and three touchdowns while throwing two interceptions.

All of the Bengals' scoring came in the first half, when Burrow went 28-of-36 for 284 yards and all three touchdowns. In the second half he threw a pick-six and was held under 100 yards, as the Pats' pass rush intensified and their offense kept the Bengals off the field. The Bengals need to find out how long OT La'el Collins (knee) will be out, but presumably he won't play next week against the Bills.

  • Tyler Huntley QB | BAL

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Does just enough against Falcons

Huntley completed nine of 17 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown, carried the ball 11 times for 26 rushing yards and ran in a two-point conversion in Saturday's 17-9 win over Atlanta.

It was far from a productive game, but the Ravens defense didn't allow the Falcons to score a touchdown at all, so Huntley's second-quarter TD strike to Demarcus Robinson and subsequent two-point conversion wound up being the difference. Baltimore locked up a playoff spot Saturday with the win and a Patriots loss to the Bengals, so while Lamar Jackson (knee) is potentially poised to begin practicing next week, the team may elect to prioritize keeping him healthy for the postseason -- possibly leaving Huntley under center for a Week 17 clash with the Steelers.

  • Sam Darnold QB | SEA

Panthers' Sam Darnold: Impressive numbers in win

Darnold completed 15 of 22 passes for 250 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in the Panthers' 37-23 win over the Lions on Saturday. He also rushed six times for 19 yards and another score.

Darnold averaged an impressive 11.4 yards per attempt while turning in his fourth straight interception-free effort. The 2018 third overall pick also upped his completion percentage for the fourth consecutive contest, and although the ground game took center stage Saturday, Darnold impressively connected with seven different pass catchers overall. With the Panthers firmly in the mix for the NFC South crown, Darnold will have an opportunity to play a pivotal role once again in what will be a critical Week 17 road matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Jan. 1.
