Head coach Mike Mularkey said Mariota may play one series in Thursday's preseason finale against Miami, the Titans' official site reports.

Starters typically don't play at all in the last preseason game, but with the Titans sporting a mix of young players and new additions, there could be some slight benefit to giving the first-team offense a bit of run. Mariota probably doesn't need the final tune-up, as he's completed 23 of 36 passes for 309 yards in three preseason appearances, benefiting from Tennessee's offseason additions of DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry, Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe. The Titans also appear to have an improved offensive line, with rookie first-rounder Jack Conklin bookending Taylor Lewan at offensive tackle.

Sudfeld will start in Thursday's preseason finale against the Buccaneers.

Sudfeld, a sixth-round pick, gets the nod Thursday as he looks to impress the coaching staff in the hopes that they will keep three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster. Washington's quarterback situation is set in stone with Kirk Cousins leading the charge and Colt McCoy securing his role as the No. 2 man.

Siemian will be the Broncos' starter to begin the season the Broncos' official site reports.

The decision hardly comes as a surprise given the ineffectiveness of Mark Sanchez and inexperience of rookie first-rounder Paxton Lynch. Siemian has completed 27 of 43 passes for 285 yards, a touchdown and two picks in three preseason games, including two starts. Those numbers are hardly awe-inspiring, so Siemian will likely have to continue to improve in order to fend-off a mid-season switch to Lynch.

Siemian (shoulder) was named the Broncos' starting quarterback on Monday.

Siemian earns Denver's starting gig after beating out veteran Mark Sanchez and rookie Paxton Lynch during the preseason. In three exhibition appearances, including two starts, Siemian completed 62.7 percent of his passes, throwing for 285 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. A seventh-round pick last year, Siemian was active for one game as a rookie, but has yet to throw a regular season pass. Nonetheless, after impressing enough during the buildup to Week 1, Siemian's first career start will come next Thursday in a Super Bowl rematch against the Panthers.

Jones (shoulder) will be limited as he returns to practice Monday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site.

Jones has missed the past couple practices and also did not suit up for Friday's preseason game against Washington due to a sore shoulder. The coaching staff has yet to determine if the rookie will play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Lions but will make a decision after monitoring him the next couple of days. The former Ohio State quarterback is competing with Austin Trainor for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart behind Tyrod Taylor and EJ Manuel.

Dalton completed six of 10 passes for 77 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's preseason game against the Jaguars.

Dalton added a four-yard run that converted a third down in the red zone, ultimately leading the Bengals to 14 points on his three drives. The Cincinnati first-team offense looked sharp throughout the preseason, but there was one minor concern from Sunday's game, as A.J. Green left early with an apparent leg/knee injury. According to The Cincinnati Enquire, Green would have played through the injury if Sunday's contest had been a regular-season game.

Savage completed three of four passes for 68 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's preseason game against the Cardinals.

Head coach Bill O'Brien said Savage is ahead of Brandon Weeded for the backup quarterback job, and the 2014 fourth-rounder may have locked up the role with Sunday's impressive (albeit brief) performance. Weeden's fate will likely depend on whether the Texans want to keep a third quarterback.

Bridgewater completed 12-of-16 passes for a touchdown in Sunday's preseason game against the Chargers.

Bridgewater answered any looming questions about his shoulder, producing a touchdown and two field goals on five drives, with another cut short by a Kyle Rudolph fumble in San Diego territory. Rudolph and Stefon Diggs tied for the team lead at 5 targets, with the former catching three passes for 56 yards and a touchdown, and the latter adding five receptions for 71 yards. Bridgewater also added two carries for 21 yards in what will likely be his final appearance of an impressive preseason. He missed Minnesota's second exhibition, but did complete six of seven passes for for 92 yards and a touchdown in the opener. Bridgewater had five completions of 20+ yards on just 23 preseason pass attempts.

Stafford completed 14-of-23 passes for 95 yards and an interception Saturday during the Lions' 30-9 preseason loss to the Ravens.

Stafford played the entire first half, but the Lions still struggled as a whole, failing to breach the goal line and gaining just 226 yards of total offense (compared to 363 for the Ravens). Now, through three preseason games with Stafford at the helm, Detroit is yet to score a touchdown and has converted just 3-of-4 field goal attempts while turning the ball over twice. Improved play along the offensive line could go a long way towards correcting their problematic offensive miscues, but if the preseason is any indication, Detroit could be in store for a rough transitional phase during the beginning of the team's first season post-Calvin Johnson.

Vaughan (thumb) was waived with an injured designation by the Steelers on Sunday, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Vaughan broke his thumb in the team's second preseason game and hasn't practiced since. If he clears waivers he'll be eligible for Pittsburgh's injured reserve.
