Vaughan (thumb) was waived with an injured designation by the Steelers on Sunday, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Vaughan broke his thumb in the team's second preseason game and hasn't practiced since. If he clears waivers he'll be eligible for Pittsburgh's injured reserve.

Carr completed 12-of-18 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's preseason game against the Titans.

Carr played the whole first half and remained in the game for part of Oakland's opening second half series Saturday. In that time on the field, Carr notched his first two touchdowns of the preseason, punctuating a stellar showing overall. His six-yard pass to rookie DeAndre Washington started the scoring, but Carr's 29-yard toss to Amari Cooper during the second quarter was an especially impressive throw. That connection displayed the duo's strong rapport, which could be a sign of things to come once the regular season rolls around.

Mariota completed 9-of-16 passes for 170 yards and rushed three times for 20 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Raiders.

Mariota played the entire first half Saturday, leading the Titans' offense to 20 points by halftime. He entered the game having completed 14 of his 15 previous preseason attempts, so although Saturday's showing inevitably dropped his completion percentage, his 10.6 yards per attempt marked a high through the exhibition slate. So too did Mariota's three rushes for 20 yards, showing just how effective he was against Oakland. With what could be a big second season ahead of him, it wouldn't be surprising if Mariota's playing time is restricted for Thursday's preseason finale.

Keenum completed 8-of-12 passes for 77 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Broncos.

Keenum played the first four series of Saturday's game, before rookie Jared Goff took the reins with about 10 minutes left in the second quarter. While Goff noticeably struggled, Keenum led the Rams to a pair of field goal drives, even though his 6.4 yards per attempt left room for improvement. That being said, Keenum was going against the Broncos' starting defense, which is arguably the best unit in the NFL. Regardless, through three preseason games, Keenum has looked far more prepared to command Los Angeles' offense going into the regular season, so it wouldn't be surprising if he's named the team's starter before long.

Keenum started for the Rams in Saturday's preseason loss to the Broncos, completing eight of 12 passes for 77 yards in the process.

Keenum, who also carried once for four yards Saturday, is expected to remain the starter for the Rams' regular-season opener against the 49ers on Sept. 12, with top overall pick Jared Goff having been unable to supplant Keenum atop the team's QB depth chart this preseason. With that in mind, the L.A. Times suggests that Keenum is expected to remain on the bench with team's other starters in Thursday's preseason finale against the Vikings. In three exhibition game appearances thus far, Keenum has gone 18 for 24 for 188 yards and a touchdown with no picks. While his anticipated starting run makes him an option in deeper formats, Keenum's fantasy upside is capped by the reality that talented second-year back Todd Gurley is set to serve as the focal point of the Los Angeles offense in 2016.

Lynch completed 6-of-13 passes for 57 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Rams.

Lynch played the entire second half of Saturday's game, when Mark Sanchez was left out of the action despite being expected to split time with Lynch and fellow quarterback Trevor Siemian. With that decision seemingly hinting toward Sanchez exiting the team, Lynch appears slated to back-up Siemian going into Week 1 of the regular season. As a result, Lynch could play a good chunk of Thursday's final preseason tilt, which would help further his development ahead of his first NFL season.

Siemian played the entire first half of Saturday's preseason game against the Rams with the first-team offense, completing 10-of-17 passes for 122 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Siemian seems destined to earn Denver's starting quarterback job after fellow signal-caller Mark Sanchez did not play in Saturday's game, despite being healthy. It was initially expected that Siemian, Sanchez and rookie Paxton Lynch would receive equal playing time, but after Siemian and Lynch split the two halves, Sanchez seemingly is out of the picture. In playing the entirety of the Broncos' first-team snaps Saturday, Siemian responded to his second quarter interception by leading a seven-play, 67-yard touchdown drive his next time out. That series was capped by a one-yard toss to tight end Virgil Green, and Siemian led Denver to a field goal on its subsequent drive. Overall, Siemian sports 285 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions and a 62.7 completion percentage through three preseason appearances, which figures to be enough to see him named the Broncos' regular season starter sometime this week.

Goff suffered a bruised tailbone in Saturday's preseason loss to the Broncos, ESPN.com reports.

Goff, who took most of his snaps with the Rams' second unit, completed 4 for 12 passes for 45 yards Saturday. It remains to be seen if the rookie QB's bruised tailbone will lead to him missing practice time in the coming days, but what is clear is that Goff -- who is destined to be the Rams' franchise signal-caller down the road -- has not yet supplanted Case Keenum as the team's starter. It's generally assumed that Keenum will be the team's starting quarterback for the Rams' Sept. 12 regular-season opener against the 49ers.

Morris completed 7 of 11 passes for a team-leading 144 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason contest versus the Eagles. He added a one-yard score on his only carry of the game.

Locked in a battle with Scott Tolzien for the backup job behind Andrew Luck, Morris was excellent Saturday, earning a quarterback rating of 137.5 and leading the team's only two touchdown drives of he night. Tolzien did not enjoy much success of his own, as he threw for just 55 yards and an interception during his time on the field. The competition will likely go down to the wire, and with Luck expected to sit Thursday's preseason finale versus the Bengals, Morris and Tolzien should have one last chance to make their respective cases.

Winston completed 16 of 25 passes for 259 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Friday's 30-13 preseason victory over the Browns. He also gained nine yards on two carries and fumbled twice, recovering one.

The sophomore quarterback put together as impressive a performance as could have been hoped for, leading the Bucs to scores on their first four offensive possesions and connecting with No. 1 receiver Mike Evans on several occasions. Those plays included a second quarter drive where he hit the towering wideout for 47 yards down the right sideline, as well as a 34-yard hookup for a touchdown just two plays later. Winston was clearly in command of the offense throughout his time on the field, which encompassed the entirety of the first half. He did have some trouble holding on to the ball with two fumbles, but encouragingly stayed away from any interceptions. The 2015 No. 1 overall pick appears primed for a fast start in 2016 given his overall body of work in training camp and preseason to date, and his rapport with Evans also seems to be at an all-time high. Winston may not see any time in next week's exhibition finale in an attempt to keep him 100 percent for the regular season opener against the Falcons on Sept. 11.
