Teddy Bridgewater QB | DET
Vikings' Teddy Bridgewater: No timetable on return
According to coach Mike Zimmer, Bridgewater (knee) does not have a timetable on his return, The Sports Xchange reports.
Bridgewater missed all of this season due to a serious knee injury suffered in late August. After undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL and dislocation of his left knee, Bridgewater was able to walk without crutches nearly two months later. Nonetheless, the 24-year-old still has a long way to go in his recovery, which could extend into next season. Although Zimmer couldn't pin down a targeted return for Bridgewater, he said earlier that Sam Bradford, whom the Vikings acquired following Bridgewater's injury, "has earned the right to be the starting quarterback." That situation adds another layer of uncertainty to Bridgewater's fantasy stock, which obviously is reliant on him first returning to full health.

Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: Sees more game action than expected as rookie
Brissett finished up the 2016 regular season with 34 completions on 55 attempts for 400 yards to go along with 16 carries for 83 yards and a TD over the course of three appearances (including two starts) for the Patriots.
Brissett did not throw any TD passes or picks during that span, but the 2016 third-rounder did gain some valuable experience when thrust into action after fellow signal-caller Jimmy Garoppolo (who had been filling in for the suspended Tom Brady) suffered a shoulder injury in Week 2. Brissett subsequently missed time after undergoing surgery on his right thumb in October but was eventually activated off IR by the Patriots in December in order to reprise his depth QB duties.

Jimmy Garoppolo QB | LAR
Patriots' Jimmy Garoppolo: Throws for 502 yards in 2016
Garoppolo finished up the 2016 regular season with 43 completions on 63 attempts for 502 yards to go along with four TDs and zero picks over the course of six appearances for the Patriots.
The 2014 second-rounder had an early-season opportunity to fill in for the suspended Tom Brady cut short due to a shoulder injury, but Garoppolo was nonetheless able to do enough in the time that he was healthy to potentially draw offseason trade interest. Garoppolo is under contract with New England in 2017, but with Brady still entrenched as the team's starter, the Patriots could be tempted to deal Garoppolo if the right offer comes along. Alternatively, they could hold on to him as a valuable insurance policy for Brady, who is set to turn 40 this coming August.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Clutch in crunch time once more in divisional-round win
Rodgers completed 28 of 43 passes for 356 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 34-31 divisional-round victory over the Cowboys. He also gained 16 yards on two rushes.
Rodgers added to the burgeoning legend of his storybook 2016 campaign with a superb all-around performance, and yet another completion that defied the odds and set the Packers up for a game-winning field-goal attempt. The perennial Pro Bowler helped Green Bay build a 28-13 lead by early in the third quarter with a pair of scoring throws to his tight ends, hitting Richard Rodgers for a 34-yard touchdown in the first quarter and then finding Jared Cook from three yards out on the first possession of the second half. However, after the Packers defense allowed that edge to evaporate, it was Rodgers to the rescue, first leading an eight-play, 37-yard drive that culminated in a 56-yard field goal by Mason Crosby that snapped a 28-28 tie. After Dak Prescott did a pretty good Rodgers impression on the subsequent drive, which ended in a game-tying 52-yard field goal by Dan Bailey, Rodgers rolled left on third down with 18 seconds remaining and threw across his body 36 yards downfield to Cook, who just managed to keep his feet inbounds and make a spectacular catch. That led to Mason Crosby's 51-yard game-winning field goal as time expired, sending Rodgers to his third conference championship game. Factoring in Sunday's production, Rodgers has now completed 53 of 83 passes for 718 yards with six touchdowns and just one interception in two postseason contests, with what should be a high-scoring shootout against Matt Ryan on tap.

Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Throws three touchdown passes in first playoff appearance
Prescott completed 24 of 38 pass attempts for 302 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's game against the Packers. He also gained 13 yards on a pair of carries in the 34-31 loss.
Making his first playoff appearance, Prescott was able to complete 63 percent of his throws while connecting with Dez Bryant for a pair of touchdowns and Jason Witten for another. He also led the Dallas offense to a last-minute field goal that tied the game just before Green Bay's winning field goal as time expired. Despite the fact that the season ended on a losing note, Prescott established himself as one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the NFL and acquitted himself extremely well on the postseason stage.

Russell Wilson QB | NYG
Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Picked off twice in divisional-round loss
Wilson completed 17 of 30 passes for 225 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in Saturday's 36-20 divisional-round loss to the Falcons. He also gained 49 yards on six rushes and was sacked three times, including once for a safety.
Wilson and the Seahawks were lights-out to the open the game, putting together a 14-play, 89-yard drive that consumed 8:34 off the clock and culminated in a seven-yard scoring dart to Jimmy Graham. However, it was largely downhill from there, with an injury to right guard Germain Ifedi kick-starting a series of unfortunate events. Rookie Rees Odhiambo, who took over for Ifedi, inadvertently stepped on Wilson's foot with the Seahawks backed up to their seven-yard line after a penalty wiped out an 80-yard punt return by Devin Hester, leading to a safety. Wilson subsequently sandwiched fourth-quarter interceptions around a 31-yard touchdown to Doug Baldwin, with the second pick coming with 2:15 remaining and sealing Seattle's fate. Wilson did lead the Seahawks in rushing on the afternoon, and his yardage total on the ground actually was the second highest he'd amassed all season. Despite the disappointing finish to the campaign, the Wisconsin product did set career highs in completions (353), attempts (546) and passing yardage (4,219) in 2016.

Tom Savage QB | DET
Texans' Tom Savage: Full participant in practice
Savage (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Savage cleared concussion protocol earlier in the week and will be available for Saturday's divisional tilt with the Patriots. Head coach Bill O'Brien has already named Brock Osweiler the starter for the contest, but Savage will likely serve as the No. 2 option at quarterback, potentially keeping Osweiler on a shorter leash.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Knee procedure not ruled out
The Dolphins have not ruled out the possibility that Tannehill could undergo offseason surgery to repair his left knee, the Miami Herald reports.
Tannehill sprained both his ACL and MCL back on Dec. 11 and though the QB practiced some this past Friday, he was unable to rally in time to join the Dolphins' playoff push. As the team's offseason gets underway, doctors are in the process of evaluating how to manage the next steps in Tannehill's recovery. A procedure of some sort thus remains a possibility for the QB at this time and in such a scenario, his participation in the team's offseason program could be impacted.

Tom Savage QB | DET
Texans' Tom Savage: Clears concussion protocol
According to Texans coach Bill O'Brien, Savage has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will practice Wednesday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Savage was concussed during the second quarter of Houston's Week 17 loss to the Titans, paving the way for Brock Osweiler to reclaim his starting quarterback job for last Saturday's playoff victory over the Raiders. After showing improvement in that performance, Osweiler has already been deemed the starter for Saturday's upcoming clash against the Patriots, but by clearing concussion protocol, Savage should be available as his backup this week, bolstering the Texans' depth at the position.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Finishes strong prior to injury
Tannehill (knee) passed for 2,995 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions, while also rushing 39 times for 164 yards and another score in 13 games played this season.
Tannehill endured a rocky transition into new head coach Adam Gase's system, accounting for seven total touchdowns and seven interceptions through Miami's first five games, which included merely one Dolphins win. However, after that stretch, Tannehill showed strong improvement over the second half of the campaign, registering a quarterback rating of at least 97.4 in five of his subsequent eight contests, coinciding with seven victories. Unfortunately, he suffered a hit to his left knee during Week 14, leaving him with slight tears in his MCL and ACL. That injury kept him sidelined for the remainder of the regular season, and despite returning as a limited practice participant last Friday, he couldn't play in Sunday's playoff loss to the Steelers. Now with a full offseason to return to health, Tannehill will look to build on the back half of this season, which overall included a career-best completion percentage (67.1) and yards-per-attempt average (7.70), with a developing stable of offensive weapons next term.
