Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Positive reports following Thursday's practice
Head coach Mike McCarthy said Friday morning that Rodgers (knee) took some team reps at Thursday's practice and "looked good" while getting "everything accomplished that we set out to," Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Rodgers logged an official limited practice Thursday for the first time since injuring his knee Week 1, which was the first sign he was making progress in his recovery. McCarthy's comments would be another indication things are going in the right direction. It remains to be seen how much work, if any, Rodgers gets in Friday, but McCarthy expects him to take part in Saturday's jog-through, and as long as he makes it through that session without issue, he would presumably be good to go for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Jared Goff QB | DET
Rams' Jared Goff: Explodes for career-best night
Goff completed 26 of 33 passes for 465 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions in the Rams' 38-31 win over the Vikings on Thursday night. He also rushed twice for seven yards.
Goff refused to be outdueled by Kirk Cousins despite the latter's own stellar night, as he compiled a career-high passing yardage total while also throwing a career-best five touchdown passes. The third-year pro averaged a whopping 14.1 yards per attempt while leading his top three receivers to 100-yard efforts. Goff has looked masterful in his second year in head coach Sean McVay's offense, completing at least 75.0 percent of his attempts in each of the last three games while throwing for no less than 354 yards during that span. He'll look to continue his record-setting pace against the Seahawks in a Week 5 divisional battle.

Kirk Cousins QB | LV
Vikings' Kirk Cousins: Eclipses 400 yards in loss
Cousins completed 36 of 50 passes for 422 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Vikings' 38-31 loss to the Rams on Thursday night. He also rushed four times for 28 yards, threw a two-point conversion pass and lost a fumble.
In almost any other game, Cousins' sensational stat line would have been more than enough to pull out a victory. However, he had the misfortune of running into Jared Goff and company, who were firing on all cylinders Thursday, and Cousins simply wasn't able to keep up. He fired a pair of touchdown passes to Aldrick Robinson and one to Adam Thielen on a perfect strike down the seam in the third quarter while producing his second 400-yard game of the season. From a fantasy perspective, Cousins made up for the disappointment stemming from last Sunday's inexplicable home loss to the Bills. He'll look to stay hot against the Eagles in Week 5 showdown.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Broncos' Case Keenum: Donning knee brace in practice
Keenum donned a knee brace during Thursday's practice, but was listed as a full participant on the team's injury report, Zac Stevens of BSNDenver.com. "Case came out of the [Week 3] game fairly healthy," coach Vance Joseph said of the quarterback. "He had no swelling, he has no issues. He should obviously feel better this week."
Keenum experience some knee soreness coming out of the Week 2 win over the Raiders, resulting in him getting practice off last Wednesday before returning to the field the following two days. The fact that he logged a full session for the Broncos' first practice of the current week seemingly supports Joseph's comments about Keenum's health outlook taking a turn for the better. With any lingering soreness or swelling having subsided, Keenum should be poised to turn in a bounce-back performance Monday against an underwhelming Chiefs secondary after he was limited to a season-worst 5.6 yards per attempt in the Week 3 loss to the Ravens.

Tyrod Taylor QB | GB
Browns' Tyrod Taylor: Dealing with back issue
Though Taylor has been cleared from the NFL's concussion protocol, he was limited by a back injury at Thursday's practice, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
As a result, it's not a lock that Taylor will be available to back up Baker Mayfield on Sunday against the Raiders. If he can't go, Drew Stanton would work behind Mayfield in Week 4. Browns head coach Hue Jackson said he would name a No. 2 quarterback Friday before the team's flight to Oakland, according to Cabot.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Officially limited Thursday
Rodgers (knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Michael Cohen of The Athletic reports.
Rodgers fulfilled coach Mike McCarthy's proclamation that the quarterback would return to drills Thursday with a cap on his workload. During the portion of practice open to the media, Rodgers had numerous reps with Packers wide receivers and tight ends while also showing mobility, according to Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. The development is a huge step for Rodgers, who didn't practice the last two weeks until the typical Saturday jog-through. While Rodgers likely won't have his injury designation cleared by week's end, he seems far more ready to handle the stress placed on his balky left knee.

Tyrod Taylor QB | GB
Browns' Tyrod Taylor: Clears concussion protocol
Taylor has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol and will take part in Thursday's practice, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
It remains to be seen if Taylor will be eased back into on-field activity with a limited or full practice, but either way, it looks like he's trending toward being available Sunday in Oakland. Head coach Hue Jackson already announced Monday that Taylor would be slated for backup duties behind No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield, who gets his first NFL start after coming off the bench to guide the Browns to their first victory in 635 days in Week 3 against the Jets.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Logging limited practice Thursday
Coach Mike McCarthy said Rodgers (knee) would be a limited participant in practice Thursday, Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Over the previous two weeks, Rodgers has only practiced with his healthy teammates on Saturdays, so the fact that he's involved in Thursday's team session even on a limited basis seemingly amounts to a positive step forward with his health. Even if Rodgers' condition continues to improve in the next couple of days, he'll still likely have to manage pain in his left knee on some level during Sunday's game against the Bills. The injury hasn't hindered Rodgers too much from a performance standpoint thus far, with the quarterback completing 66.3 percent of his throws for 546 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions over the Packers' last two contests.

Sam Bradford QB | MIN
Cardinals' Sam Bradford: Limited by injury after demotion
Bradford was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a pectoral injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Bradford's health isn't much of a concern for the Cardinals now that Josh Rosen has been promoted to the No. 1 job. The team may opt to move forward with Mike Glennon as the backup quarterback on game days rather than paying Bradford a sizable bonus for each week he's on the active roster.

Marcus Mariota QB | WAS
Titans' Marcus Mariota: Named as Week 4 starter
Coach Mike Vrabel said Mariota (elbow) will start Sunday's game against the Eagles, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
Mariota ended up playing the majority of Sunday's 9-6 win over Jacksonville after Blaine Gabbert suffered a concussion in the first half. Vrabel acknowledged that Mariota still had some limitations in terms of the throws he could make during the narrow victory, but the team is optimistic that won't be the case in Week 4. Vrabel said said Austin Davis will serve as the No. 2 quarterback, dropping a strong hint that Gabbert isn't expected to clear the concussion protocol before Sunday.
