Driskel brings nine games of NFL experience from his 2018 campaign with the Bengals, a stint during which he posted 1,003 passing yards and a 6:2 TD:INT while also rushing for 130 yards and a pair of scores. While Driskel showed some upside last season and will have a formidable receiver duo in Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones to work with, a last-minute call to action against the Bears at Soldier Field figures to be a tough assignment.

As expected, Mahomes (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans, BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' official site reports.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Chiefs proceeded with extreme caution with their star QB and had "four different specialists from across the country examine" images of Mahomes' knee. It was determined that the signal-caller was ready to play and that enough time had elapsed to minimize his chances of a setback. Mahomes' return to the lineup should provide a nice boost going forward for the fantasy prospects of Kansas City's top receiving weapons -- Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins.

Jackson (illness) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

The 22-year-old was considered questionable, but his status never truly appeared in doubt after he put in a full practice Friday. Jackson has found significant success on the ground over the last three weeks with 49 attempts for 329 yards and four touchdowns, while Cincinnati features the worst rush defense in the NFL and allows 177.6 yards per game and 5.1 yards per carry.

All of the Lions' skill-position players naturally will see a notable downgrade in their respective fantasy outlooks with Jeff Driskel taking over under center for Detroit.

A source told Adam Schefter that Stafford may miss "this week or three weeks" due to the fractures in his back.

Limited during Week 10 prep, Stafford underwent additional testing in the meantime due to pain stemming from a back issue. The aforementioned broken bones were discovered, which will result in an absence of at least one game. The Lions have four games in the next 19 days, so this injury is arising at an inopportune time. While Stafford gets back to full health, the team will turn to Jeff Driskel to direct the offense.

Stafford's practice reps were capped all week due to hip and back injuries, but the latter now appears to the more serious of the two. According to Schefter, the Lions' medical staff won't allow Stafford to suit up Sunday, which will be confirmed about 90 minutes before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. In Stafford's place, Jeff Driskel is slated to be the team's starting QB, with David Blough in reserve.
