Purdy (toe) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Rams, Briana Jeannel of the 49ers' official site reports.

Purdy hasn't been able to progress to a full practice since his last appearance in Week 4 as he works his way back from a turf toe injury. In Purdy's absence during Week 10, Mac Jones will earn his eighth start of the campaign, while Adrian Martinez will serve as the backup quarterback. Purdy's next chance to play is next Sunday at Arizona.

Milroe (coach's decision) is inactive as Seattle's emergency third quarterback Sunday versus Arizona.

This has become the norm of late for Milroe, who has frequently worked as the Seahawks' emergency QB after getting into three of the team's first five contests. Milroe won't be able to enter Sunday's game unless both Sam Darnold and Drew Lock exit due to injury, illness or ejection.

Jones completed 19 of 26 passes for 255 yards with a touchdown and an interception while adding seven carries for 53 yards in the Colts' 31-25 overtime win over the Falcons in Berlin on Sunday. He also committed three fumbles, losing one.

Jones turned in one of the efficient efforts he's regularly managed in Shane Steichen's quarterback-friendly system, but ball security was a significant issue against an aggressive Falcons defense that sacked him seven times. Nevertheless, Jones persevered with the help of Jonathan Taylor's 244-yard, three-touchdown effort on the ground, while the veteran quarterback focused heavily on Tyler Warren and Alec Pierce when dropping back, and the latter was on the receiving end of Jones' one scoring toss from 37 yards out in the first quarter. Jones' one lost fumble, which came early in the third quarter, didn't lead to any Falcons points, and he'll head into the Week 11 bye ahead of a Week 12 road showdown against the Chiefs with 2,659 passing yards, 143 rushing yards and 20 total touchdowns.

Penix completed 12 of 28 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-25 overtime loss to the Colts.

The second-year QB also tossed a two-point conversion but got sacked three times and lost a fumble. It's the third straight game in which Penix has failed to complete 60 percent of his passes, although Sunday's 42.9 percent mark was by far a season low. Drake London remains his lone reliable downfield threat, and the duo hooked up for a 16-yard TD in the second quarter and a two-point conversion in the fourth for the Falcons' final points on the day. Penix will try to turn things around on the accuracy front in Week 11 against the Panthers.

Taylor will serve as the backup to starting quarterback Justin Fields in Sunday's game against the Browns, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

After coming on in relief of a struggling Fields in the Jets' Week 7 loss to the Panthers, Taylor appeared poised to take over as the team's starting quarterback in Week 8. However, Taylor emerged from the loss to the Panthers with a knee contusion, and after he wasn't able to advance beyond limited participation that week, the Jets stuck with Fields as their starter. Fields proceeded to turn in one of his best performances of the season as the Jets claimed their first win in a 39-38 victory over the Bengals, and he'll get the chance to build on that positive outing coming out of New York's Week 9 bye. Taylor was a full participant in practice throughout Week 10 and has moved past the injury, so the Jets likely won't hesitate to turn to him if Fields is unable to move the offense early on in Sunday's contest.

Ewers (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as Miami's emergency third quarterback against Buffalo on Sunday.

For a third straight game, Ewers will serve as the Dolphins' emergency third quarterback, which means he is not permitted to play Sunday unless both Tua Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

DeVito (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Patriots' emergency third quarterback against the Buccaneers on Sunday.

DeVito will not be permitted to see the field Sunday unless both Drake Maye and Joshua Dobbs are removed from the contest due to injury, illness or ejection. DeVito has not appeared in a single regular-season game in 2025.

Winston (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Bears, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Winston can only enter Sunday's contest if Jaxson Dart and Russell Wilson leave due to injury, illness or ejection. Winston hasn't appeared in a game yet this season.

Rush (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings but will serve as the Ravens' emergency third quarterback.

Lamar Jackson is healthy for a second consecutive week after missing three straight games. That leaves Rush as the emergency QB, meaning he can only enter Sunday's contest if Jackson and Tyler Huntley are removed due to injury, illness or ejection.

Murray, who was placed on injured reserve Wednesday due to a mid-foot sprain, is not expected to start again if he returns this season, "absent injury to Jacoby Brissett," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

While the Cardinals haven't explicitly indicated Brissett will remain their starting quarterback for the remainder of the season, head coach Jonathan Gannon implied Tuesday that Brissett would have started Week 10 in Seattle even if Murray was fully healthy. The Cardinals then deactivated Murray a day later, and though he'll be eligible to return from IR beginning in Week 14, he looks like he could be ticketed for backup duties so long as Brissett stays healthy and continues to direct a productive offense. With that in mind, Rapoport suggests Murray may have played his last game with Arizona, potentially making the 28-year-old signal-caller a trade or cut candidate during the upcoming offseason. Murray is already fully guaranteed $36.8 million for 2026, and he'll be guaranteed an additional $19.5 million in base salary for 2027 if he remains on the roster through March 16.
