Burrow (knee) is back in Cincinnati after spending the first phase of his rehab process in Los Angeles, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Dr. Neal ElAttrache performed surgery Dec. 2 in the L.A. area, 10 days after Burrow suffered ACL and MCL tears in his left knee. No setbacks have been reported so far, but the young QB still has a long process ahead, hoping to make it back for the start of the 2021 season. Burrow recently told Colin Cowherd that he's excited to continue working with Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, who was rumored to be on the hot seat but ultimately kept his job. Cincinnati has every opportunity to improve this offseason, holding the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and ranking sixth in the league in projected cap space ($42.1 million, per overthecap.com). Burrow said he thinks he'll be ready for Week 1.

Mayfield completed 21 of 34 pass attempts for 263 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions during Sunday's 48-37 wild-card win against the Steelers.

Cleveland entered Sunday night without a playoff win since Jan. 1, 1995 -- three and a half months before Mayfield was born. Having led the Browns to their best win total since that same 1994-1995 campaign, Mayfield entered the postseason with just one interception committed over his past nine starts. Boosted by a pair of takeaways and a TD from his defense within the first five minutes of regulation, Mayfield found Jarvis Landry for a 40-yard third-down score on the Browns' opening offensive drive. The explosive start continued from there, as Cleveland set an NFL playoff record for the most first-half points by a road team with 35. Pittsburgh fought its way back into the game with a 13-0 third-quarter run, but Mayfield led the Browns on a trio of scoring drives in the fourth quarter to secure his first career playoff victory. Next is a road trip to take on the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs and a Kansas City defense that contained opponents to 224.2 passing yards per game over its final five outings of the regular season.

Wolford (neck) is day-to-day with a stinger, per coach Sean McVay, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Wolford was taken to the hospital after taking a shoulder to the head from Seahawks safety Jamal Adams early in Saturday's wild-card round win. Given that context, a day-to-day label is good news. Even if Wolford's able to gain clearance for Saturday's NFC divisional round matchup against the Packers, it's unclear who the Rams will roll with under center after Jared Goff played through a thumb injury and led the team to victory after Wolford's exit against Seattle.

Trubisky completed 19 of 29 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown while rushing three times for 10 yards in the Bears' 21-9 loss to the Saints in the wild-card round.

Trubisky was not only missing Darnell Mooney (ankle), but Anthony Miller was ejected early in the second half, leaving him light on weapons against one of the better defenses in the league. His performance should've been better, but Javon Wims dropped a touchdown pass in the first quarter and the Saints dominated the time of possession, leaving few offensive possessions to pile up fantasy points. On the season, Trubisky played in 10 games, passing for 2,055 yards along with 16 touchdowns against eight interceptions, and he's set to become an unrestricted free agent. If he finds a starting job, his running ability will make him a quarterback who could have appeal in fantasy leagues that start two QBs.

Tannehill completed 18 of 26 passes for 165 yards, one touchdown and one interception in a wild-card round loss to the Ravens. He added two rushes for six yards.

It appeared that Tannehill and the Titans' offense would have their way against the Ravens after an impressive opening drive that was capped by a 10-yard touchdown throw to A.J. Brown. However, the team failed to find the end zone again, limiting Tannehill's overall production. He also threw a key interception late in the fourth quarter as the Titans sought a game-tying touchdown. Despite the struggles, he still found Brown and Anthony Firkser for big gains throughout the contest, including completions of 35, 28 and 14 yards. Tannehill will look to bounce back from the disappointing postseason exit as the starting quarterback during the 2021 campaign.

Jackson completed 17 of 24 passes for 179 yards with no touchdowns and one interception while adding 16 rushes for 136 yards and a score in Sunday's 20-13 wild-card win over the Titans.

Jackson earned the first playoff victory of his career with a stellar performance on the ground. The signal-caller came up big on a 3rd-and-9 late in the second quarter, turning the jets on to score from 48 yards. That play helped compensate for a badly underthrown interception earlier. With the weight of securing a postseason win now off his shoulders, Jackson will turn his attention to the AFC divisional round, where his opponent is yet to be determined.

Goff said after Saturday's 30-20 win over the Seahawks in the wild-card round that he doesn't believe his surgically repaired thumb will affect him heading into next weekend's divisional-round game against either the Packers of Buccaneers, Eric D. Williams of SI.com reports. "My thumb is fine," Goff said. "And I'm not going to use it as an excuse for anything that didn't go my way or any throw. It's not 100 percent because I had surgery 10 days ago or 12 days ago or whatever. But it's in a good place and I'm very capable of what I've got going on right now."

After sitting out the Rams' Week 17 win over the Cardinals, Goff was active for the wild-card round as a backup to John Wolford after he was only able to practice on a limited basis leading up to the contest. With Wolford exiting in the first half with a neck stinger, Goff was thrust into action and clearly looked to be affected by his thumb. He still did well enough to avoid turning the ball over while the Rams deployed a run-heavy game plan, with Goff finishing the day with nine completions for 155 yards and a touchdown on 19 attempts. While Goff looks like he won't miss any further time, if Wolford is also cleared to play in the next round, the Rams may hold off on naming a starter until their final practice of the week.

Heinicke suffered an AC joint sprain during Saturday's 31-23 wild-card loss to the Buccaneers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Heinicke impressed in his spot start Saturday, completing 26 of 44 passes for 306 yards, a touchdown and an interception and running for 46 yards and a score. It wasn't enough to pull out the win, however, and Heinicke finished the game banged up. The X-Rays came back negative, so his recovery shouldn't take too long. The Old Dominion product will be an unrestricted free agent in March, and he may have made an argument to at least be allowed to compete for a starting opportunity in a training camp somewhere in the league next summer.

Heinicke (shoulder) completed 26 of 44 passes for 306 yards with one touchdown and one interception in Washington's 31-23 wild-card loss to the Buccaneers on Saturday night. He also rushed six times for 46 yards and another score.

Getting game-day call in place of Alex Smith (calf), Heinicke performed admirably against the Buccaneers' aggressive Todd Bowles-coordinated defense. The third-year pro fought through a separated AC joint in his left shoulder during the second half, per Sam Fortier of The Washington Post, and he worked around two sacks and six quarterback hits overall to keep Washington competitive throughout. Heinicke primarily focused on the trio of Cam Sims, Terry McLaurin and Logan Thomas, which accounted for a combined 18-253 line on 29 targets. It was a highly encouraging showing for Heinicke, who's slated to head into unrestricted free agency this offseason but could certainly be brought back to Washington to compete for a starting job.

Heinicke returned from a shoulder injury during Saturday's wild-card game against the Buccaneers, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

The 27-year-old suffered the injury early in the fourth quarter after taking a couple hits and was labeled questionable to return, but he was able to retake the field after a quick examination in the locker room. Heinicke performed admirably before suffering the injury, completing 16 of 29 passes for 209 yards and one interception while rushing six times for 46 yards and one touchdown.
