Coach Vic Fangio said Friday that he hasn't seen any separation in the competition between Bridgewater and Drew Lock, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Lock got the first snap of training camp, but with the stipulation that Bridgewater would take just as many reps with the starters this summer. While that may be the case for a few more weeks, the Broncos eventually will want to focus on preparing one or the other for Week 1 against the Giants. Until then, we'll look for any possible signs of one QB moving ahead of the other in their battle for the starting job.

Allen isn't part of Washington's quarterback competition at the moment, but he could enter the fray once he proves his surgically repaired ankle is back at full strength, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Coach Ron Rivera is calling it an open competition for the starting job between Ryan Fitzpatrick and Taylor Heinicke, though it'll be a major surprise if the latter actually ends up starting Week 1. Allen starting would be an even bigger surprise -- realistically, he's more likely to lose his roster spot than win the starting job. In any case, the 25-year-old quarterback has at least made it back on the field for the start of training camp, after missing out on offseason practices. Allen most likely will end up battling Heinicke for the backup job or Steven Montez for the No. 3 spot.

While Winston opened training camp with the second-team offense, head coach Sean Payton indicated after practice that Winston and Taysom Hill will rotate with the first-team offense throughout training camp, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

It's possible that Hill's long-standing tenure with New Orleans played a role in him opening training camp with the starters. As both he and Winston should get plenty of reps with the first-team offense as the summer unfolds, fantasy managers need to keep tabs on who is favored to open Week 1 in the starting lineup given the contrasting styles of play between the two quarterbacks. Case in point: All but one of Hill's throws seemed to travel less than eight yards during Thursday's practice, while Winston sent one deep on his very first pass attempt in team drills and he reportedly finished the day with a number of impressive completions on deep passes, including a 60-yard touchdown to Deonte Harris.

Rodgers has agreed to a re-worked deal with Green Bay, NFL.com reports.

Per terms of the agreement, the QB now is under contract with the Packers through 2022, with the 2023 portion of his deal having been deleted. In any case, Rodgers -- who previously expressed frustration with the organization -- is in the fold and currently practicing with the team in training camp. Additionally, he'll be joined by wide receiver Randall Cobb, a player the veteran signal-caller reportedly wanted to play with once again and who was recently re-acquired in a trade with the Texans.

Early on in training camp, Jones has followed Cam Newton in team drills, Jeff Howe of The Athletic reports.

For now, Newton sits atop the Patriots' QB depth chart, a notion reinforced by the fact that he's leading off in practice, but Jones will have an opportunity to compete with the veteran signal-caller as training camp progresses. Through New England's first two practices at least, Howe notes that "strictly by performance, the QB battle has been a draw."

Prescott (shoulder) won't throw for at least two or three days, but he'll continue doing footwork drills and conditioning, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The Cowboys hope Prescott can resume throwing this weekend, but Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram suggests it may not happen until next week. The good news for Prescott is that his injury isn't serious and doesn't have anything to do with his surgically repaired ankle.

Coach Bill Belichick said Thursday that Stidham (shoulder) will "miss a little time" due to his current injury, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports.

The Patriots recently placed Stidham on the PUP list due to pain experienced in his shoulder and back, for which the team is reportedly considering surgery. In a corresponding move, New England claimed former Packers quarterback Jacob Dolegala off waivers, giving the team another option, alongside Brian Hoyer, to take reps behind Cam Newton and Mac Jones.

Wilson has agreed to a four-year deal with the Jets, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The report notes that the QB's contract is projected to be worth $35.1 million and includes a signing bonus of approximately $22.9 million. It was inevitable that the No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft would sign on the dotted line, but the two sides needed to compromise on a couple of items. Per Schefter, Wilson "gets no deferral" while the Jets "get offset language." Either way, the BYU product now can officially embark on his pro career and will look to build chemistry with a pass-catching corps that currently features wide receivers Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, Jamison Crowder, Keelan Cole and Denzel Mims, as well as tight ends Tyler Kroft and Chris Herndon.

Coach David Culley said Watson's workload didn't change on the second day of training camp, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Reports from Day 1 suggested Watson was the No. 4 quarterback and even lined up on defense at times, while Tyrod Taylor served as the first-team QB. Culley pointed to Watson's absence from the offseason program, but the coach also mentioned that the 25-year-old would need a lot of reps to catch up with his teammates. It's unclear if/when Watson might get those reps, with Culley declining to elaborate after Thursday's practice. Watson requested a trade during the offseason, and he's facing 22 civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and misconduct.

Coach Ron Rivera said Thursday that Heinicke and Ryan Fitzpatrick are competing for the starting quarterback job, with Kyle Allen (ankle) potentially joining the mix later on, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

He may be a significant underdog, but Heinicke will at least be given the chance to outplay Fitzpatrick this summer. The 28-year-old QB signed a two-year contract with $1.5 million guaranteed this offseason, after throwing for 306 yards in Washington's 31-23 playoff loss to Tampa Bay.
