  • Tyler Huntley QB | BAL

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Headed back to No. 2 role

Huntley is expected to reprise his normal duties as the Ravens' backup quarterback Sunday against the Browns after Lamar Jackson (illness) practiced fully Wednesday, putting him on track to start this weekend, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Huntley handled all of the first-team reps in two of the Ravens' three practices last week while Jackson was idle due to a non-COVID-19-related illness, then picked up his first career NFL start in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Bears when Jackson was inactive for the contest. Though he didn't put up stellar numbers, Huntley delivered an acceptable fill-in performance, completing 72.2 percent of his throws for 6.1 yards per attempt while rushing seven times for 40 yards and turning the ball over once. Huntley won't make another start this season unless Jackson is unavailable for one reason or another, but the decent showing against Chicago at least may have given him some extra job security as the No. 2 option on Baltimore's QB depth chart.

  • Jared Goff QB | DET

Lions' Jared Goff: On pace to start Thursday

Goff (oblique), who is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bears, is line to start, barring a setback, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Goff's oblique injury looks as though it will sideline him for just one contest. Considering how Tim Boyle, Goff's replacement, fared Week 11 at Cleveland -- 15-for-23 passing for 77 yards and two interceptions -- the latter's return will be a welcome sight to the Lions offense. In his first matchup with the Bears this season back in Week 4, Goff completed 24 of 38 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Tending to broken toe

Rodgers said Wednesday that he's dealing with a broken toe but won't miss any game action as a result of the injury, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

At the same time the Packers activated him from the reserve/COVID-19 list prior to a Week 10 game against the Seahawks, Rodgers was listed with a toe injury. He hasn't practiced since he returned to Green Bay's facilities, and he finally clarified the nature of his issue during media availability Wednesday following a report he was tending to "COVID toe." Rodgers suffered a fracture to his pinkie toe while ramping up his activity as he attempted to gain medical clearance to play against Seattle, which was discovered via X-ray. Despite the lack of practice reps in the meantime, he intends "to play every single week." Rodgers will aim to avoid a designation upon the release of Friday's injury report, as he did ahead of last week's game against Minnesota.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Good to go after full practice

Jackson (illness) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Jackson may need a couple days to regain his conditioning but otherwise appears in line for a normal week of preparation after missing last Sunday's win over Chicago with a non-COVID-19-related illness. Top wideout Marquise Brown (thigh) also returned to practice Wednesday -- albeit as a limited participant -- potentially setting up a return to the lineup this Sunday against the Browns. It's hard to say what Jackson can expect in terms of the matchup, as Cleveland's talented defense has been wildly inconsistent from week to week this year, holding six opponents below 17 points but also giving up 33 or more on four occasions. Jackson told reporters Wednesday that he's feeling great and is "120 percent" sure he's playing this week, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.

  • Jared Goff QB | DET

Lions' Jared Goff: Status in question for Thursday

Goff (oblique) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bears.

Goff has been tending to an oblique injury that kept him sidelined for the Lions' Week 11 loss in Cleveland. The Lions have yet to tip their hand about their Week 12 starting quarterback, but head coach Dan Campbell told Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com on Tuesday that he was "leaning" toward Goff being under center Thursday. The decision ultimately may come to a pregame workout, after which Detroit will release its list of inactives about 90 minutes before the 12:30 p.m. ET kickoff. Aside from Goff, Tim Boyle and even David Blough could be in the mix for the nod after Boyle underwhelmed in his spot start this past Sunday.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Not practicing Wednesday

Rodgers (toe) isn't taking part in Wednesday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

In the aftermath of his return from a recent 10-day absence from the Packers due to a positive COVID-19 test, Rodgers has been dealing with a painful toe injury that hasn't allowed him to practice. No matter, he's produced in consecutive matchups with the Seahawks and Vikings, completing 65.7 percent of his passes for 677 yards, four touchdowns and one interception and taking four carries for 29 yards. Per Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, head coach Matt LaFleur said that Rodgers likely will be subject to a lighter practice regimen for the second week in a row, but Friday's injury report will indicate whether he enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's showdown with the Rams. For his part, Rodgers said he expects to play through the pain against Los Angeles, while hoping that the Packers' upcoming Week 13 bye allows him to enter the final part of the regular season in better health.

  • Browns' Baker Mayfield: Not practicing

Mayfield (shoulder/knee/foot) participated in a morning walk-through session but isn't practicing Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Following the walk-through, Mayfield appeared to be in observation mode in position drills before heading back inside or off to a side field. Head coach Kevin Stefanski acknowledged Monday that Mayfield's trio of injuries likely affected his performance in Sunday's 13-10 win over Detroit, but the Browns hope to have their starting quarterback ready for this weekend's game in Baltimore. Stefanski said Mayfield will get the start as long as he's deemed healthy enough to play.

  • Bears' Justin Fields: Not playing Thursday

The Bears have ruled out Fields (ribs) for Thursday's game at Detroit.

Fields always appeared to be trending toward sitting out Thanksgiving Day after he was a non-participant at walk-through sessions Monday and Tuesday and after head coach Matt Nagy officially named Andy Dalton the Bears' Week 12 starting quarterback Tuesday. With another absence from practice Wednesday, Fields now won't be available Thursday due to the bruised ribs he picked up this past Sunday against the Ravens, making his next possible appearance Dec. 5 against the Cardinals. Behind Dalton, Chicago will have Nick Foles available as his backup this week.

  • Logan Woodside QB | ARI

Titans' Logan Woodside: Placed on COVID list

Tennessee placed Woodside on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

The Titans haven't revealed whether Woodside tested positive for the virus, or if he was merely a close contact of an infected person. As a result, Woodside's Week 12 status has yet to be determined, but if he's unavailable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, the Titans could promote Kevin Hogan from the practice squad to serve the backup quarterback behind Ryan Tannehill.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Set to practice Wednesday

Jackson (illness) will practice Wednesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

The extent of Jackson's participation won't be known until the Ravens release their first official Week 12 injury report later Wednesday, but the quarterback looks to be on his way to return to the lineup Sunday against the Browns. Jackson was inactive for last weekend's win over the Bears after he struggled to move past a viral illness unrelated to COVID-19. Tyler Huntley picked up his first NFL start in Jackson's stead, but the second-year signal-caller is in line to revert to the No. 2 role this weekend.
