Jared Goff QB | DET
Lions' Jared Goff: Remains limited but trending up
Goff (oblique) was listed as a limited participant on Tuesday's estimated practice report, but head coach Dan Campbell said he's "leaning" in the direction of having the quarterback start the team's Thanksgiving Day game against the Bears, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports. "It's 60 percent [that Goff starts], leaning toward 50-50," Campbell joked, noting that Goff looked good in the Lions' walk-through practice.
The Lions might have a difficult time gauging where Goff stands in his recovery from an oblique injury while the team runs practices at less-than-normal intensity this week due to the quick turnaround for Thursday's game, but both the coach and the quarterback himself expressed positivity about his health. Specifically, Goff told Justin Rogers of The Detroit News that he "feels good" and views himself as a "game-day decision," comments that just about line up with what Campbell had to say about the matter. If Goff plateaus or takes a step back in his recovery and is forced to miss a second straight game, the Lions haven't made it clear if Tim Boyle would be in line for another start, or if No. 3 quarterback David Blough would get a look after Boyle mostly underwhelmed in his season debut during last week's 13-10 loss to the Browns.

Justin Fields QB | KC
Bears' Justin Fields: Idle for walk-through practice
Fields (ribs) was estimated as a non-participant Tuesday during the Bears' walk-through practice.
Head coach Matt Nagy already confirmed earlier Tuesday that Andy Dalton would get the start under center for the Thanksgiving Day game against the Lions, though Fields has yet to be officially ruled out from suiting up for the contest in a reserve role. However, given that Nick Foles is already on the roster as a healthy backup option behind Dalton, the Bears will more than likely keep Fields inactive Week 12, giving him some extra time to rest his sore ribs. According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, Nagy said he's hopeful Fields' absence will be limited to just one game, so the rookie signal-caller tentatively looks in line to play Week 13 against the Cardinals.

Zach Wilson QB | NO
Jets' Zach Wilson: Reclaiming starting role Week 12
Wilson (knee) has been fully cleared by the Jets' medical staff and is set to return to action as the team's starting quarterback Sunday against the Texans, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh won't officially name Wilson as the team's Week 12 starter until he meets with the media Wednesday, but the rookie's reappointment atop the depth chart is a foregone conclusion, especially after his competition for the gig -- Mike White and Joe Flacco -- both landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday. Flacco's status as an unvaccinated player means he'll automatically be out for the next 10 days, while White tested positive for the virus and seems unlikely to clear all the necessary protocols prior to Sunday. With that in mind, the Jets are expected to promote Josh Johnson from the practice squad to serve as the Week 12 backup behind Wilson, who was inactive for each of New York's previous four games while recovering from a PCL sprain of his right knee. Wilson has been able to practice in some capacity over the past two weeks, and he'll presumably participate in full from Wednesday through Friday this week to clear up any lingering concern about his availability.

Mike White QB | CAR
Jets' Mike White: Tests positive for COVID-19
White was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday after testing positive for the virus, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Joe Flacco also landed on the COVID-19 list as a close contact of White's, and both players will be sidelined for this weekend's matchup with Houston. White served as the backup to Flacco during Sunday's loss to the Dolphins, but rookie Zach Wilson (knee) is now set to reclaim the starting job. Josh Johnson will be promoted from the practice squad to handle backup duties, while White will be unavailable until he clears the health and safety protocols.

Trace McSorley QB | WAS
Cardinals' Trace McSorley: Officially signed by Arizona
McSorley was signed by the Cardinals on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
As expected, McSorley will join the Cardinals after they signed him off of the Ravens' practice squad. He will now serve as the team's third option at quarterback behind Kyler Murray (ankle) and Colt McCoy.

Justin Fields QB | KC
Bears' Justin Fields: Won't start, likely out Thursday
Bears head coach Matt Nagy said Fields (ribs) isn't expected to be active for Thursday's game against the Lions, but the rookie will remains the team's starting quarterback when healthy, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Fields was knocked out of the Bears' Week 11 loss to the Ravens due to bruised ribs and doesn't look like he'll be ready to go for Thanksgiving Day, but the Bears are hopeful his absence will be contained to just one game. After completing 11 of 23 attempts for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns in relief of an injured Fields against Baltimore, Andy Dalton will get the starting nod Week 12, while No. 3 quarterback Nick Foles will presumably step in as his backup. Barring a dramatic turnaround in Fields' health following Wednesday's practice, expect the Bears to officially rule him out for the matchup with Detroit.

Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Bears' Andy Dalton: Confirmed as Thursday's starter
Bears head coach Matt Nagy confirmed Tuesday that Dalton will get the start at quarterback Thanksgiving Day against the Lions, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Dalton slides back into the No. 1 role this week with Justin Fields still tending to a rib injury suffered during Sunday's loss to the Ravens, but Nagy was careful to note that the rookie quarterback remains the team's starter when healthy, per Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times. To that end, Nagy is hoping Fields will be ready to start in the Bears' Week 13 game against Arizona, but he'll likely be inactive this week while Nick Foles presumably steps in as Dalton's backup. After coming on in relief of Fields in Week 12, Dalton completed 11 of 23 pass attempts for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The veteran draws a juicy matchup this week against a suspect Lions secondary, but he could be operating without one of his top pass-catching options in receiver Allen Robinson (hamstring), who sat out against Baltimore and has yet to resume practicing.

Daniel Jones QB | IND
Giants' Daniel Jones: Struggles in defeat
Jones completed 23 of 38 passes for 167 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Monday night's 30-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
Jones had another rough primetime outing, struggling to move the ball while facing regular pressure as well. The signal-caller threw a poor interception across his body during the second half, then had another attempt picked while throwing into traffic two drives later. Although a clever, two-yard touchdown to offensive tackle Andrew Thomas offered at least one bright spot, Jones will nonetheless strive for a much improved showing against the Eagles in Week 12.

Justin Fields QB | KC
Bears' Justin Fields: Unlikely to start Thursday
Fields (ribs) isn't expected to start Thursday's game at Detroit, yielding the offense to Andy Dalton, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Fields was knocked out of this past Sunday's contest against the Ravens due to a rib injury and was unable to return. Afterward, he paid a visit to the hospital to have his ribs and spleen examined. While he primarily appears to be dealing with bruised ribs, Fields won't have enough time to gain clearance to play on a short week of prep. As evidence, he didn't participate in Monday's walkthrough, and it remains to be seen if he'll be active at all Thursday. Stepping in for Fields will be Dalton, who completed 11 of 23 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns in less than a half of work Sunday.

Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Bears' Andy Dalton: In line to start Thursday
Dalton is expected to start in place of Justin Fields (ribs) on Thursday at Detroit, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Dalton stepped in for Fields after the rookie injured his ribs in the third quarter of Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Ravens, completing 11 of 23 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns. Both scores were big gainers, as Darnell Mooney took a screen pass 60 yards to the house, while Marquise Goodwin burned the Baltimore secondary for a 49-yard strike. Without those plays, Dalton's stat line would have been a more understated 9-for-21 for 92 yards, but he'll fortunately have the Lions' 30th-ranked scoring defense on the other side Thursday as he gets a spot start in place of Fields.
