Boswell was held out of Wednesday's practice due to illness.

Boswell hit a playoff-record six field goals in Sunday's win over Kansas City and could be a large factor for Pittsburgh once again in the AFC championship game. Given it's still early in the week, it's unlikely that his illness will impact his availability Sunday. His practice status later this week will give a better indication of his health against the Patriots on Sunday.

McManus converted 29 of 34 field-goal attempts and 32 of 33 extra points across 16 games in 2016.

McManus, who notched 30 field goals last year, fell one successful kick shy of that mark in 2016, but didn't have a down year by any means. His 29 makes was good for 10th-most in the league and he never missed an attempt within 40 yards, outside of his lone miscue on an extra point. Now headed for free agency in the offseason, look for Denver to do all they can to bring lock down McManus for the foreseeable future.

Myers converted 27 of 34 field-goal attempts and 29 of 32 extra points during the 2016 season.

In a disappointing season for the entire Jaguars offense, Myers remained dependable. Although his low field goal percentage of 79 percent may not affirm that notion, it should be noted that five of his seven misses came from beyond 50 yards. Under contract through next season, Myers will return in 2017 as a middling fantasy option at kicker.

Folk converted 27 of 31 field-goal attempts and 24 of 26 extra points during the 2016 season.

Folk had a quietly-solid season for the Jets in 2016. However, given how he did in fact play for the Jets, you never knew what to expect from him on a weekly basis, rendering him unserviceable in most formats. Case in point, look at his numbers from Week 9 and Week 10. In Week 9 against the Dolphins, Folk made three field goals and three extra points only to come back with a clunker (thanks to a missed PAT) the game after. With the team's quarterback situation far from solved, expect more uncertainty out of Folk in 2017.

Boswell was successful on all six field-goal attempts (22, 26, 38, 43, 43, 45) in the Steelers' 18-16 playoff win over the Chiefs on Sunday.

Boswell provided all the scoring for Pittsburgh and, in the process, set an NFL record for most field-goals in a playoff game. The Steelers will face New England in the AFC championship game next week.

Gano underwent surgery Friday to repair a broken bone in the heel of his plant foot, Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer reports.

Gano originally suffered the injury during Week 14's win over the Chargers, but he was able to play through the pain throughout the Panthers' final three games. He figures to be back at full health by the time training camp rolls around.

Franks finished the 2016 season 16-for-21 on his field-goal attempts.

That comes out to a 76.2 percent success rate, which is well below the norm in today's NFL. Franks has a big leg but only attempted two field goals over 50 yards this season, which could make one wonder if the coaching staff just doesn't trust him. Franks was 41-for-42 on extra-point attempts, but that won't be enough to solidify his job for next season.

Tucker finished the season 38-of-39 on field goals and 27-of-27 on extra points to earn unanimous First-Team All-Pro honors.

Tucker's 38 made field goals tie him for fifth all-time for a single season and were the most by an NFL kicker since both he and Stephen Gostkowski converted 38 field goals in 2013. Not only was Tucker's volume impressive, but his accuracy was elite as he missed just one kick all season to notch a 97.44 field goal percentage. Tucker was also automatic from distance as he converted all 24 attempts of 40-plus yards, 10 of which were from beyond 50 yards. He finished second only to Matt Bryant among kickers in standard scoring formats, thanks in part to Bryant having a whopping 30 more extra-point attempts. Tucker remains an elite option at kicker heading into 2017 and his career 89.84 field goal percentage ranks him No.1 in NFL history.

Lutz made 28 of 34 field goals and 49 of 50 extra points in 2016.

Lutz capped an eventful rookie season by making 33 consecutive successful kicks -- 13 field goals and 20 extra points -- which came on the heels of a stretch that included two blocks returned for scores, including the game-deciding points in a loss to the Broncos. Backed by the Saints' high-powered offense, which led the league in yards per game and was second in scoring, Lutz finished fifth among kickers in total scoring in 2016. With a booming leg and, presumably, another year with quarterback Drew Brees at the helm of the offense, Lutz should again be a fantasy asset in 2017.

Prater converted two of two field-goal attempts during Saturday's playoff game in Seattle.

After tying for seventh in the league with 31 field goals during the regular season, Prater went without an extra point for just the third time the entire year Saturday. However, he did nail a game-high 53-yard attempt, one of his longest hits of the season. Look for Prater to return in 2017 as one of the top fantasy options at the kicker position.
