  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Lions' Matt Prater: Perfect with limited opportunities

Prater converted his only field-goal attempt and all three PATs during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Panthers.

Prater didn't get many opportunities to score in this one, as the Lions largely struggled to move the ball through both the ground and air until late in the contest. While it's concerning that he's been limited to one field-goal attempt in three of five games this year, Prater attempted at least two field goals in 13 of 17 games last season, which suggests he should see a larger workload more often than not moving forward.

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

Buccaneers' Nick Folk: Moved to IR

The Buccaneers placed Folk, who had been experiencing tendinitis in the knee of his (left) plant leg, on injured reserve Monday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The injury is only a minor concern for Folk and likely wouldn't have affected his availability for the Buccaneers' Week 6 matchup with the Cardinals, but the move to IR will delay his inevitable release after the team signed Patrick Murray in a corresponding move to serve as its new placekicker. Folk lost the gig after missing three field goals in Tampa Bay's Week 5 loss to the New England, which came after he misfired on a pair of field goals and extra points across the team's first three contests of the season. Once Folk is deemed healthy, he'll be released off injured reserve and become eligible to sign elsewhere, but the accuracy issues he's displayed to date may limit the interest of other teams.

  • Jason Myers K | SEA

Jaguars' Jason Myers: Drills 47-yarder in Week 5 win

Myers converted his only field goal attempt and went 3-for-4 on extra points in Sunday's 30-9 win over the Steelers.

After going 2-for-3 in the team's Week 4 loss to the Jets, Myers rebounded to make a 47-yarder Sunday, though he did misfire on an extra point for the second time this season. Through five weeks, Myers has converted 10 of 13 field goals and 13 of 15 extra-point attempts.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Panthers' Graham Gano: Notches nine points

Gano made two of three field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point tries en route to nine points in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Lions.

Gano's first missed field goal of the campaign came from 55 yards, making it somewhat excusable. Through five games, the veteran has tallied 45 points, vaulting him toward the top of the kicker rankings.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Hits both field-goal attempts Sunday

Elliott made both his field-goal tries and tacked on four extra points in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.

The rookie stayed hot in Week 5 and has now made eight consecutive tries since missing a 52-yarder two weeks ago against the Giants. With the first-place Eagles clicking on offense, Elliott remains a good bet to keep producing as the team heads to Carolina for Week 6.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Provides only points in blowout loss

Boswell converted all three of his field-goal tries (20, 29, 34) in the Steelers' 30-9 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.

The Steelers' inability to score touchdowns resulted in a decent fantasy outing for Boswell, who next goes up against Kansas City in Week 6. Boswell memorably kicked six field goals -- which again representing all the scoring for the Steelers -- when they last faced the Chiefs in the playoffs in 2016.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Cairo Santos: Needs two more weeks to heal up

Santos (groin) will be out for approximately two more weeks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Santos recently underwent a physical for Tampa Bay, who are unsurprisingly looking at replacements for the struggling Nick Folk. The 25-year-old is reportedly dealing with an adductor sprain in his groin and won't be available until later in October, likely taking him out of consideration for the Bucs at this time.

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

Buccaneers' Nick Folk: Likely to be replaced

The Buccaneers won't release Folk any earlier than Monday, when they have four kickers scheduled to come in for workouts, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The move may not officially happen until after the weekend, but it feels inevitable after Folk missed all three of his field-goal attempts in Thursday's 19-14 loss to the Patriots. From a performance standpoint, Folk has been the worst kicker in the NFL this season, missing five field goals and a pair of extra points in four games. Given the Bucs' offensive talent, Folk's replacement could emerge as a useful fantasy option.

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

Buccaneers' Nick Folk: Nightmarish performance in loss

Folk missed field-goal attempts from 56, 49 and 31 yards in Thursday's 19-14 loss to the Patriots. He converted both of his extra-point tries to finish with two points on the night.

Folk was shaky in Week 4 against the Giants before nailing a game-winning field goal, but there was no such redemption Thursday. His first miss, which came just before halftime, was certainly tolerable considering the distance, but the other pair of misfires were difficult to swallow in the Bucs' narrow loss. Folk's 49-yard try came early in the fourth quarter with the Bucs trailing 16-7, while the 31-yard chip shot with 5:39 remaining that immediately went wide left ensured that an 11-play, 84-yard march went for naught. With three misses from 40-to-49 yards in the last two games, Folk is just 2-for-5 from a distance that head coach Dirk Koetter has repeatedly emphasized he expects his kickers to be nearly automatic from. The extended layoff before a Week 6 tilt against the Cardinals gives the Bucs a chance to audition competition for the placekicking job at a minimum -- if not jettison Folk outright -- although Koetter remained thoroughly noncommital about the issue immediately following the game, according to Jenna Laine of ESPN.com.

  • Redskins' Dustin Hopkins: Perfect Monday in loss

Hopkins was 2-for-2 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-2 on extra-point attempts in Monday's 29-20 loss to the Chiefs.

Hopkins bounced back in Week 4 after missing a field goal in each of the two contests prior. He'll look to remain perfect once the Redskins return from their bye next week.
