  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Giants' Graham Gano: Held back by offense again Week 16

Gano didn't attempt a field goal and made his only extra-point try in Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Falcons.

Gano was successful on the extra-point attempt following a Tyrone Tracy receiving touchdown in the second quarter, but that was the only scoring chance he got in the game, as Atlanta subsequently reeled off 34 straight points. The veteran kicker hasn't had a field-goal opportunity in either of the Giants' past two games, and his prospects over the final two contests of the regular season aren't bright given the poor state of the team's offense. New York is averaging just 11.8 points over its past five games.

  • Joshua Karty K | LAR

Rams' Joshua Karty: Another missed PAT in victory

Karty connected on both his field-goal attempts and made one of two PAT attempts during Sunday's 19-9 victory against the Jets.

The rookie's first action of the contest seemed like a bad omen, as he clanged his first PAT attempt off the right upright. Karty pulled things together from there, however, and made his only other PAT attempt, along with field goals of 38 and 45 yards. Karty's final two games of the season are home contests at SoFi Stadium, where the rookie kicker is a mediocre 8-for-11 on the season on field goals. The Cardinals are up first for Karty and the Rams in Week 17.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Scores 17 points in Week 16 win

Sanders converted all five of his field-goal attempts during Sunday's 29-17 win over the 49ers. He also made both of his extra-point tries.

Sanders accounted for more than half of Miami's total points during the Week 16 win, his most productive game of the 2024 campaign. The veteran is now three field-goal conversions away from his career-best mark of 36, with Sunday's upcoming road matchup against the Browns representing his first of two remaining regular-season contests to set a new career high.

  • Jets' Anders Carlson: Job in jeopardy following loss

Carlson went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and missed his lone extra-point attempt during the Jets' 19-9 loss to the Rams on Sunday.

Carlson missed his only extra-point try of the game late in the first quarter following the Jets' 14-play, 99-yard drive that ended with an 11-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams. Carlson made a 21-yard chip shot as time expired in the first half, but his 49-yard field-goal attempt late in the fourth quarter missed wide right, and it was a crucial miss as it prevented the Jets from reducing the deficit to one score. Sunday's loss could've been Carlson's last game with Gang Green, as head coach Jeff Ulbrich said Monday that the Jets are going to explore their options at kicker this week, per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com. The Jets don't have a kicker signed to the practice squad, but they will likely add one ahead of their Week 17 matchup against the Bills on Sunday.

  • Commanders' Zane Gonzalez: Nails all four extra-point attempts

Gonzalez converted all four of his extra-point tries during the Commanders' 36-33 win over the Eagles on Sunday.

Gonzalez was sidelined for the Commander's Week 15 win over the Saints due to a left foot injury. He didn't practice Wednesday while attending the birth of his child, but he managed to progress enough in his recovery from his foot injury to play Sunday. He was limited to extra-point duties in Sunday's NFC East clash, and he's a perfect 14-for-14 on extra-point tries in his four games with the Commanders while filling in for Austin Seibert (groin).

  • Chad Ryland K | ARI

Cardinals' Chad Ryland: Sends game into overtime

Ryland went 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts and made all three of his extra-point tries during the Cardinals' 36-30 overtime loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

Ryland once again served as the Cardinals' placekicker Sunday due to Matt Prater (knee) not being activated off injured reserve. Ryland's biggest kick came as time expired in the fourth quarter, when he nailed a 58-yard field-goal try to send the game into overtime and to temporarily keep Arizona's slim playoff hopes alive. In the five games since the Cardinals' Week 11 bye, Ryland has gone 14-for-17 on field-goal attempts and 8-for-8 on extra-point tries. It's unclear whether Ryland or Prater will handle kicking duties in the Cardinals' Week 17 game against the Rams on Saturday.

  • Tyler Bass K | BUF

Bills' Tyler Bass: Hits 50-yard field goal in win

Bass made his lone field-goal attempt and all three of his extra-point tries during the Bills' 24-21 win over the Patriots on Sunday.

Bass connected on a 50-yard field-goal midway through the third quarter to give the Bills their first lead of Sunday's AFC East clash. Bass is now 4-for-4 on field-goal tries from 50-plus yards, and through 15 regular-season games, he's gone 22-for-27 on field-goal attempts and 53-for-57 on extra-point tries. Bass will look to add to his tally in Week 17 when the Bills welcome in Aaron Rodgers and the Jets on Sunday.

  • Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Struggle continues

Hopkins did not attempt a field goal and missed his lone extra-point try in Sunday's 24-6 loss to Cincinnati in Week 16.

Hopkins, who was inactive Week 15 amid a five-game stretch of missed kicks, added another failed attempt to what has been a season gone wrong for both him and the Browns. The extra-point miss was Hopkins' third in 19 attempts; he's also missed nine of 25 field-goal tries. The kicker who replaced Hopkins last week, Riley Patterson, was poached by Atlanta off Cleveland's practice squad. As of Monday, the Browns don't have a backup option in place heading into Week 17 against Miami.

  • Joey Slye K | TEN

Patriots' Joey Slye: Limited to extra points

Slye converted all three of his extra-point attempts in New England's 24-21 loss to Buffalo on Sunday.

Slye did not attempt a field goal Sunday for just the second time this season as all three of the Patriots' scoring drives resulted in touchdowns. Slye was a fairly accurate kicker through the first 11 games of the regular season, going 19-for-22 on field-goal attempts and 15-for-16 on extra-point tries over that span. He's made all seven of his extra-point attempts in his last four games, but across that span he's also gone 4-for-8 on field-goal attempts, with two of those misses coming from within 50 yards. Slye and the Patriots head back to New England for Week 17 to host the Chargers on Saturday.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Flawless in win over Seattle

Reichard made both of his field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point attempts during the Vikings' 27-24 win over the Seahawks on Sunday.

Reichard connected on field goals from 52 and 48 yards out in the second and third quarter, respectively. Over his last three games since returning from a right quadriceps strain, Reichard has gone 5-for-6 on field-goal attempts and has converted all 12 of his extra-point tries. The Vikings will need Reichard's accuracy in their Week 17 NFC North clash against the Packers on Sunday.
