  • Matt Gay K | LV

Buccaneers' Matt Gay: Disastrous finish to season

Gay missed all three of his field-goal attempts (49, 44 and 34 yards) and made both of his extra-point tries in the Buccaneers 28-22 overtime loss to the Falcons on Sunday. He finished the 2019 season with a 77.1 percent success rate on field goals (27-for-35) and a 43-for-48 tally on extra points.

Gay's final numbers were sullied by his clunker of a regular-season finale, but the rookie was otherwise very impressive during his first pro season. Gay's misfires were spread evenly across distance, as he missed two attempts from 30 to 39 yards, another three from 40 to 49 yards, and three more from 50 yards and beyond. The 2019 fifth-round pick will look to sharpen his technique over the offseason, but barring a complete training camp/preseason meltdown next summer, he should be the Buccaneers' placekicker again in 2020.

  • Cardinals' Zane Gonzalez: Ends 2019 fourth in points

Gonzalez connected on 31 of 35 field-goal attempts and 34 of 35 point-after tries during the 2019 campaign.

Gonzalez lacked consistency during stints with the Browns and Cardinals in his first two pro campaigns, striking true on 70.6 percent of his 34 field-goal attempts in 23 games. On the other hand, he had similar success to 2019 on extra points (33 of 37), so there were signs that competency was lurking. A restricted free agent in March, Gonzalez may move further up the kicker ranks next season if he stays in the desert, as the team embarks on the second year of the Kyler Murray-Kliff Kingsbury experiment.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Tallies 10 points in win

Elliott made both of his field-goal attempts as well as all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 34-17 win over the Giants.

Elliott got back on track in the division-clinching win a week after missing two long kicks against the Cowboys. While the 24-year-old saw five fewer field-goal opportunities in the 2019 regular season than in each of his two previous years in the league, he notched a career-high 84.6 percent success rate and secured a five-year contract extension in the process. The Memphis product will look to keep punching the ball through the uprights in the wild-card game at home against Seattle on Sunday.

  • Joey Slye K | TEN

Panthers' Joey Slye: Finishes with four points

Slye, who tallied four points in Sunday's 42-10 loss to the Saints, went 25-of-32 on field-goal attempts and 31-of-35 on extra-point tries, totaling 106 points in 16 games played this season.

Slye started his rookie season with a bang, averaging more than nine points per game while nailing four kicks from 50-plus yards through his first six outings. After that point, however, he topped six points just twice and endured a disastrous Week 12 against the Saints, missing two extra points and three kicks total in a heartbreaking three-point defeat. To his credit, though, Slye didn't miss in his five appearances afterward, enabling him to finish tied for 14th among kickers in points. With longtime kicker Graham Gano (knee) expected to be back for the 2020 campaign, it'll be interesting to see whether the Panthers offer Slye a contract to remain with them this offseason. With that still a possibility, it's unclear if Slye will need to earn his job again or be free to take his talents elsewhere.

  • Brett Maher K | LAR

Jets' Brett Maher: Signs futures contract with Jets

Maher signed a reserve/futures contract with the Jets.

Maher struggled with the Cowboys this season, making just 20 of his 30 field-goal tries in 13 games before getting cut in favor of Kai Forbath. The former Cornhusker will get a shot at redemption with New York in 2020.

  • Greg Joseph K | LV

Titans' Greg Joseph: Nails five extra-point attempts

Joseph made all five of his extra-point attempts in the team's Week 17 win over the Texans.

Joseph has yet to be called upon for a field-goal attempt in two games with the team. However, he has proven steady with the chances he has received by making all nine of his extra-point attempts. Joseph took over for the injured Ryan Succop (knee) in Week 16 and will likely continue in his role throughout Tennessee's playoff run. Joseph signed a three-year deal when he joined the team, so will likely have a chance to be the placekicker in 2020.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Quiet finale

Fairbairn made both of his extra-point kicks in Sunday's 35-14 loss to Tennessee in Week 17.

With nothing on the line for the Texans, head coach Bill O'Brien limited his skill position players, including quarterback Deshaun Watson and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who dressed but did not play. Running back Carlos Hyde (five snaps) and Darren Fells (two special teams snaps) were kept under wraps most of the day, while Kenny Stills (knee) and Will Fuller V (groin) were inactive. That resulted in an nonexplosive offense that limited Fairbairn's opportunities to put points on the board.

  • Colts' Chase McLaughlin: Receives extension from Indianpolis

McLaughlin signed a one-year extension with the Colts on Monday.

The 23-year-old served as the Colts' kicker for the final four games in place of Adam Vinatieri (knee), and it makes sense the team would like to keep him around since the veteran isn't guaranteed to stick around for a 25th NFL season. McLaughlin finished the season 18-for-23 on field goals and 26-for-26 on extra points between 11 games with the Chargers, 49ers and Colts.

  • Jason Myers K | SEA

Seahawks' Jason Myers: Hits three extra points

Myers didn't attempt a field goal but connected on all three extra points in Sunday's 26-21 loss to the 49ers.

This was the first time Myers didn't try a field goal since Week 3. He'll end the regular season with 23 made field goals on 28 attempts (82 percent), and he made all 17 tries from within 40 yards. Myers has never played an NFL playoff game, so we'll see how he responds to the pressure in Sunday's wild-card game against the Eagles.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Flawless in finale

Sanders made both his field-goal attempts and all three extra-point tries during Sunday's 27-24 win over the Patriots.

Sanders played his part perfectly during Sunday's upset divisional win. He finishes the season having converted 23 of 30 field-goal tries and 29 of 30 extra-point attempts across 16 contests, though it's worth noting that seven of his field goals came Week 14 against the Jets. Sanders also caught a touchdown Week 13 via a fourth-and-goal trick play. The New Mexico product remains under contract in Miami through 2021.
