Riley Patterson K | MIA
Jets' Riley Patterson: Doesn't miss in Jets debut
Patterson didn't attempt a field goal but made all three of his PAT tries in Thursday's 21-13 win over the Texans.
Making his Jets debut after Greg Zuerlein (knee) was placed on injured reserve, Patterson wasn't called upon to do much, but it was refreshing nonetheless for Jets fans to see every kick connect after Zuerlein had at least one miss in five of the previous six games. Patterson's first PAT went in off the upright. The former Lions, Jaguars and Browns kicker will next kick in Week 10 against the Cardinals.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Stumbles in loss
Fairbairn made two of four field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point try in Thursday's 21-13 loss to the Jets in Week 9.
Fairbairn misfired from 56 yards near the end of the first half and later hit the upright on a 27-yard attempt. It's rare he has two misses in a game, particularly when one is a chip shot inside the 30. His makes were from 54 and 29 yards. While the misses altered the trajectory of the game, this loss was more on the offense than the kicker.

Riley Patterson K | MIA
Jets' Riley Patterson: Signed to active roster
The Jets signed Patterson to their 53-man roster Thursday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.
With Greg Zuerlein (knee) landing on injured reserve Wednesday and thus set to miss at least four games, the Jets had added Patterson and Spencer Shrader to their practice squad. The Jets have decided to give Patterson the first chance to replace Zuerlein as their kicker, beginning with Thursday's game against the Texans. Patterson has previously made 39 appearances at the NFL level over the last three seasons, converting 88.1 percent of his field-goal tries across stops with the Lions, Jaguars and Browns.

Brandon Aubrey K | DAL
Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Six-point outing in Week 8
Aubrey knocked down his lone field-goal attempt from 29 yards and went 3-for-3 on extra-point tries in Sunday's 30-24 loss to the 49ers.
Aubrey didn't practice in any capacity in Week 8 while he was away from the team on jury duty, but he made the flight to San Francisco and was as sharp as ever in the few scoring opportunities that were presented to him. Through seven appearances on the season, Aubrey has knocked down all 12 of his extra-point attempts and 18 of 20 field-goal tries, including an 8-for-9 mark from 50-plus yards.

Younghoe Koo K | NYG
Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Misses another FG attempt
Koo made one of two field-goal attempts and all four extra-point tries during Sunday's 31-26 win over the Buccaneers.
After a perfect start to the season, Koo has gone just 7-for-11 on field-goal attempts over the past four weeks, with all his misses coming from beyond 40 yards. His inconsistency from deep drops his value, but the Falcons' offense continues to impress, meaning Koo should get plenty of chances to bounce back.

Greg Zuerlein K | NYJ
Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Moves to IR
The Jets placed Zuerlein (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Zuerlein, who has made nine of his 15 field-goal attempts through eight contests to date, will thus be sidelined until at least Week 14. The Jets signed Spencer Shrader and Riley Patterson to their practice squad Wednesday, and one of the two will presumably be elevated in advance of Thursday's game against the Texans to handle kicking duties in Zuerlein's stead.

Spencer Shrader K | IND
Spencer Shrader: Headed to Big Apple
Shrader signed with the Jets' practice squad Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Shrader signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in the spring and, due to a Matt Gay injury, he was their Week 1 kicker. He made all three PATs but didn't attempt a field goal. Since then, he has bounced off and on the team's practice squad. He'll now spend Wednesday competing with Riley Patterson to see who will kick for the Jets on Thursday against the Texans, as Greg Zuerlein (knee) is not expected to play.

Riley Patterson K | MIA
Riley Patterson: Finds new opportunity
Patterson signed with the Jets' practice squad Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Patterson has been on the free agent market since getting waived by the Commanders in August. The 25-year-old kicked for the Lions last season, appearing in 13 games and making 88 percent of his FGAs. He'll spend Wednesday competing with fellow practice squad signing Spencer Shrader to see who will kick for the Jets on Thursday against the Texans, as Greg Zuerlein (knee) is not expected to play.

Greg Zuerlein K | NYJ
Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Dealing with left knee injury
Zuerlein was listed as a limited practice participant on Tuesday's estimated injury report with a left knee injury, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Zuerlein wasn't listed on Monday's injury report, but the embattled kicker appears to be dealing with a left knee injury that could affect his availability for Thursday's game against the Texans. Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported that the Jets hosted six kickers for a workout Tuesday, and if the team elects to sign someone, it would be an indication that Zuerlein is unlikely to play Thursday. Zuerlein has converted on just nine of his 15 field-goal attempts and has gone 13-for-14 on extra-point tries through the first eight games of the season.

Greg Joseph K | LV
Giants' Greg Joseph: Makes all four FG attempts Week 8
Joseph went 4-for-4 on field-goal tries and didn't attempt an extra point Monday in a loss to the Steelers.
Joseph provided all of the first-half scoring for the Giants, making field goals from 29, 39 and 44 yards out. He added to his ledger with a 48-yarder with just over five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to bring New York to within eight points. The veteran kicker had gone 1-for-3 on field-goal attempts over the previous two weeks, highlighting how unpredictable his opportunities can be as part of a Giants offense that is averaging the second-fewest points per game in the league. Joseph's hold on New York's placekicker role is also unsteady, as Graham Gano -- who is on IR due to a hamstring injury -- is eligible to return and will likely do so as soon as he is back to health.
