Wilson caught two of three targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 28-25 loss to the Dolphins. Wilson wasn't targeted in the first half as the Jets took a 21-7 deficit into the locker room. He was slightly more involved in the second half, but Wilson was overshadowed for a second consecutive game by rookie first-round pick Omar Cooper, who has exceeded 100 receiving yards with a touchdown in both games since recovering from an ankle injury. Wilson will try to bounce back from this season-worst performance in catches, receiving yards and targets when the Jets host the Raiders in Week 8.

Wilson brought in four of six targets for 44 yards in the Jets' 26-19 loss to the Patriots on Sunday. Wilson had an early catch and then had a quiet middle portion of the game before rounding out his line some in the fourth quarter. Wilson still finished with a disappointing line overall, as his reception and receiving yards totals were both his second lowest of the campaign. Geno Smith has undergone his fair share of struggles in his return to New York this season, but Wilson remains his top target with 48 looks from the veteran signal-caller over the first six games. Wilson will take a 35-418-3 line into a Week 7 home matchup against the Dolphins next Sunday.

Wilson caught 10 of 13 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-24 loss to Detroit. The star wideout paced Jets pass catchers in all three receiving categories, and his 23-yard TD from Geno Smith in the fourth quarter tied the game at 24-24, only for the Lions to respond inside the final two minutes. It's Wilson's first 100-yard performance since Week 14 of the 2024 season, as injuries disrupted his 2025 campaign. Wilson has also found the end zone in back-to-back games, and he'll take a 21-243-2 line on 27 targets into a Week 4 road trip to Chicago.

Coach Aaron Glenn said Friday that Wilson (knee) will remain on IR for the rest of the season, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports. With the Jets 3-11 and out of playoff contention, there was no need to rush Wilson -- who last played in Week 10 -- back into action. The team's star wideout thus finishes his 2025 campaign with 36 catches (on 59 targets) for 395 yards and four TDs in seven games. Per Glenn, the Jets "just wanted to be smart with (Wilson) because he's a key cog of what we're doing here." The 2022 first-rounder remains under contract with New York through the 2030 campaign, and looking ahead he'll have plenty of time to recover from his knee issue ahead of next season, and when he next takes the field his supporting cast will no doubt be different, with upgrades at QB and WR presumably offseason priorities for the Jets.

Wilson (knee) won't have his window to resume practicing opened Wednesday, and head coach Aaron Glenn reiterated that a decision on Wilson's status moving forward will be made by team doctors, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Wilson has been on injured reserve since aggravating a knee injury in Week 10 against the Browns. He is eligible to have his practice window opened at any point moving forward, but it's unclear when or if that will occur. Glenn's answer to the media Wednesday regarding Wilson's status didn't differ from the information Glenn offered Monday. At this point, the Jets are preparing to move forward with John Metchie and Adonai Mitchell as their top two wide receivers for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
