  • Harvey rushed three times for six yards while catching both of his targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Cardinals. Harvey did most of his damage on a 52-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter, but he was quiet otherwise. Jonah Coleman turned nine carries and two catches into 69 scrimmage yards in the rookie's return from an ankle injury, while J.K. Dobbins scored a touchdown on one of the latter's six rushing attempts, so Denver has a three-man backfield rotation going ahead of a Week 8 home game against the Chiefs. Harvey has a path to consistent targets as a pass catcher out of the backfield, especially if he continues to capitalize on those opportunities like he did Sunday.

I like Dobbins as a No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues in Week 7 against Arizona, and Harvey is worth using as a flex. Dobbins has 35 carries for 109 yards and two touchdowns and five catches for 11 yards on five targets in the past two games since Sean Payton took over calling plays. Dobbins has scored at least 13.6 PPR points in each outing, and he should continue to lead Denver in carries against the Cardinals. Harvey has scored at least 10.7 PPR points in three of his past four games, and most of that production has come from his work in the passing game. In those three outings against the Rams, 49ers and Seahawks, he scored at least 6.1 PPR points in each game from just his receiving stats. Kyren Williams and Blake Corum just combined for 19 carries for 92 yards and five catches for 35 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in Week 6 against Arizona, and each running back scored at least 9.7 PPR points. I could see similar production for Dobbins and Harvey in Week 7.

  • Harvey rushed six times for 25 yards and a touchdown and brought in three of four targets for 31 yards in the Broncos' 17-14 overtime win over the Seahawks on Thursday. Harvey finished with a team-high receiving yardage total on a night when Bo Nix threw for only 107 yards, and the second-year back made key complementary contributions on the ground as well. Harvey scored his first touchdown of the season on a one-yard run with 5:15 remaining in the second quarter, while his rushing yardage total tied a season high. Harvey projects to remain in his change-of-pace role when the Broncos visit the Cardinals in a Week 7 matchup on Sunday, Oct. 25.

  • Harvey notched three carries for seven yards and didn't haul in his only target during Sunday's 23-17 road win versus the Chargers. After being targeted a whopping 17 times over the previous two games, Harvey experienced a change in fortunes Sunday as no Bronco earned more than WR jaylen Waddle's five looks from QB Bo Nix. Harvey hasn't been able to get anything going on the ground this season (3.7 YPC) in his four appearances while Dobbins has earned the more consistent workload (13.8 touches per game), leaving the former a distant second in the pecking order out of Denver's backfield.

    • By Jamey Eisenberg

Harvey's work in the passing game has been excellent in the past two outings against the Rams and 49ers, and he should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy running back in PPR in Week 5 against the Chargers. He should be at least a flex in all formats, and he has 16 catches for 109 yards on 17 targets in his past two games, as well as nine carries for 31 yards. Ideally, Harvey will start getting more carries as well since he looked more explosive than J.K. Dobbins in Week 4 against San Francisco. The Chargers have allowed a running back to score at least 5.5 PPR points with just their receiving totals alone in each of their past three games against Ashton Jeanty, Ty Johnson and Emanuel Wilson, and Harvey should follow suit in Week 5.
