Gray caught three passes on as many targets for 44 yards during Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Seahawks. Gray and Travis Kelce ended up tied for the most receiving yards on the Chiefs on Sunday, although the offense struggled as a whole, with Patrick Mahomes throwing for only 165 yards and Kenneth Walker averaging only 2.6 yards per carry. Gray has caught 11 of 12 passes for 153 yards over his last four games, though he's limited to a complementary role in the passing game behind Kelce, Xavier Worthy and, when healthy, Rashee Rice (knee/hamstring). The Chiefs will stay on the road for Week 8 against the Broncos, whose defense ranks 24th in the NFL in fantasy points allowed per game to tight ends.

Gray caught all three of his targets for 53 yards during the Chiefs' 22-6 win over the Chargers on Sunday. Gray's third and final catch of Sunday's game was for 31 yards early in the third quarter. It was the fourth time in six-year NFL career that he surpassed 50 receiving yards in a game, with the other three instances taking place in 2024. Gray's 39 offensive snaps were one shy of Travis Kelce, though the latter was nursing a right ankle injury during Sunday's game, and that health concern will be worth monitoring ahead of the Chiefs' Week 7 road tilt against the Seahawks on Oct. 25.

Gray caught two of his three targets for 17 yards in the Chiefs' 30-27 win over the Raiders on Sunday. Gray was utilized at a similar rate to No. 1 tight end Travis Kelce in the contest. The tight end once again contributed to blocking for Kenneth Walker in 12-personnel packages but has not logged a lot of attention in the Chiefs' passing offense.

Grey played 40 offensive snaps and 10 special-teams snaps in Sunday's 33-30 overtime win against the Colts. Gray started alongside Travis Kelce, playing 50 percent of the Chiefs' offensive snaps in the overtime contest. Gray assisted in blocking for Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker and was also a meaningful part of the special-teams unit, although he failed to corral his only target.

Gray finished Monday's 31-10 victory versus Denver with one catch on his only target for five yards. Gray's NFL career to this point has been spent in the shadow of Travis Kelce, and that was the case again in KC's season opener as Kelce led the team with 71 receiving yards while drawing five targets. Gray did log 38 of 69 offensive snaps and contributed 15 special-teams snaps as well, so he has an important role for Kansas City. However, he doesn't figure to put up consistent offensive numbers as long as Kelce is healthy.
