• Patriots' Drake Maye: Erupts for five TDs in rout

  Maye completed 26 of 34 passes for 374 yards and four touchdowns while adding 25 yards and another TD on seven carries in Sunday's 45-17 win over the Raiders. The second-year QB has completely erased his early-season struggles, leading the Patriots to a 21-7 halftime lead and not taking his foot off the gas the rest of the way. Maye completed at least three passes to six different targets, hitting DeMario Douglas for two of his TDs and tossing one each to Hunter Henry and Kyle Williams, and he added a three-yard score of his own in the third quarter. Maye's rushing touchdown was his first of the year, and seven of his eight passing TDs have come in the last two weeks after he began the campaign with a 1:6 TD:INT over his first three contests. Maye will look to stay locked in for a Week 6 clash with the Jets.

  I don't know if Maye is back to being an elite Fantasy quarterback yet, but he produced like one in Week 4 at Buffalo. He passed for 269 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, and he added 54 yards on the ground. His 32.2 Fantasy points were more than he had in the first three games of the season combined (23.7). Maye only scored 17.8 Fantasy points against Las Vegas in Week 1 last season, but the Raiders have allowed Tyler Shough and Patrick Mahomes to each score at least 21 Fantasy points in the past two games. I like Maye as a low-end No. 1 Fantasy quarterback in all leagues.

  Maye completed 22 of 37 passes for 269 yards with three touchdowns and one interception while adding eight rushes for 54 yards in the Patriots' 29-26 win over the Bills on Sunday. He threw a two-point conversion pass and committed three fumbles, losing one and recovering the other two. Maye's eclectic stat line was reflective of New England's topsy-turvy win, one where the Patriots overcame a 17-7 halftime deficit and recorded the game-winning touchdown with 1:50 remaining to seal the comeback victory. The previously embattled 2024 first-round pick's day started off in positive fashion with a 14-yard touchdown pass to Romeo Doubs to cap off New England's first possession, and he went back to Doubs from two yards out in the third quarter to bring New England within three. However, the Patriots were in danger of falling to 1-3 on the season when they found themselves down 26-21 as late as the two-minute warning, but Maye was able to connect with Efton Chism for a 23-yard scoring strike that the young receiver snared with one hand down the right sideline with 1:50 remaining. Maye's performance was a much needed bounce-back effort after he went into the game having thrown for no more than 208 yards in any of his first three games while generating a 1:6 TD:INT, and he'll look to carry over the momentum into a Week 5 home showdown against the surprisingly resurgent Raiders next Sunday.

  Maye (shoulder) was a full participant in Friday's practice and does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Buffalo. Maye practiced fully all week but is fighting through a right shoulder issue early in the season. The runner-up for MVP honors last season, Maye has been a colossal fantasy disappointment through three weeks and will now face a Bills defense that generates pressure at a high clip.

  We're likely not going to recommend starting Maye until A.J. Brown (ankle) is back, and that won't happen in Week 4 at Buffalo. Even though the Bills have allowed two of three quarterbacks this season (C.J. Stroud and Jared Goff) to score at least 20.5 Fantasy points, they just kept another struggling quarterback, Justin Herbert, in check with 14.7 Fantasy points in Week 3. Maye's best game this season was 11.8 Fantasy points in Week 1 at Seattle, and he only averaged 16.3 Fantasy points in two games against Buffalo in 2025.
