Evans caught seven of 10 targets for 113 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-29 win over the Seahawks. He also caught a successful two-point conversion. Evans opened the scoring with a two-yard touchdown catch, one play after a drive-extending 13-yard reception on third-and-7. He continues to work as the leader of San Francisco's banged-up passing game, which lost Deebo Samuel (hamstring) in the third quarter. George Kittle, who was playing through an illness, finished a distant second on the team with 24 receiving yards. Evans' two-point conversion extended San Francisco's lead to three points with 11:02 left in the fourth quarter, and both teams tacked on a field goal from there as the 49ers improved to 5-0 heading into a Week 6 home game against the Commanders on MNF.

Evans (ribs) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. Evans practiced on a limited basis Wednesday before sitting out Thursday's session, but with him cleared of any injury tag for Week 5 it appears he was simply held out for maintenance purposes. It's unclear just how close Evans is to 100 percent, but he will be out there for his team's key Week 5 matchup with its NFC West rival.

Evans (ribs) was suited up and preparing to take part at the beginning of Friday's practice, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. After being limited Wednesday and getting the day off Thursday, Evans appears as if he'll mix into his second session of the week as he guts through a rib injury that he sustained during a Week 3 win against the Cardinals. Friday's practice report will reveal if he has a game designation ahead of Sunday's road matchup with the Seahawks.

Evans (ribs) didn't practice Thursday, but he was able to run on a side field during the open portion of the session, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports. While Evans officially downgraded from Wednesday's limited session as he tends to a lingering rib injury, he was upbeat as he talked with reporters at his locker afterward. Friday's practice report will give a sense of his odds to suit up Sunday at Seattle, but his DNP on Thursday should be taken with a grain of salt considering he doesn't need many, if any, on-field reps to be available on game days.

Evans (ribs) was listed as a limited participant for Wednesday's practice, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports. With Evans managing the rib issue well enough to practice in a limited capacity after playing through it last Sunday, his status appears to be trending in the right direction ahead of the Niners' Week 5 date with the Seahawks. Evans has been dinged up seemingly all season already but has been productive through it all, catching 17 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns on 24 targets.
