Smith scored 29.5 Fantasy points in Week 7 against Miami, and now he gets a revenge game in Week 8 against the Raiders, who are No. 6 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Smith has found new weapons in Omar Cooper Jr. and Mason Taylor to join Garrett Wilson, and Smith should have success against his former team. He's worth using as a low-end starter in all leagues, and he should be added for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAAB.

Smith completed 23 of 30 passes for 287 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 28-25 loss to the Dolphins. He also rushed twice for no gain and threw a successful two-point conversion. Smith matched Miami's opening-drive touchdown with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Mason Taylor on the Jets' first drive, but the veteran QB threw an interception deep in Dolphins territory on the next drive. The Jets trailed for the entirety of the last three quarters, allowing Smith to rack up some big numbers during their failed comeback bid, as he posted his second three-touchdown performance of the season. He found Omar Cooper for a three-yard touchdown in the third quarter after they connected for a 60-yard gain earlier on that drive, and Smith threw a 12-yard touchdown and two-point conversion, both to Taylor, to round out the scoring with 3:24 remaining in the fourth, but the Dolphins ran out the clock from there to drop the Jets to 2-5 heading into a Week 8 home game against the Raiders.

Smith has scored more than 20 Fantasy points just once this season, and he's been under 14 points in three consecutive games against Chicago, Cleveland and New England. But he faces Miami in Week 7, and the Dolphins are No. 8 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Four quarterbacks this season have scored at least 19.8 Fantasy points against Miami, including Kirk Cousins, Brock Purdy, Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow, and Smith should be in that range in Week 7.

Smith has scored more than 20 Fantasy points just once this season, and he's been under 14 points in three games in a row against Chicago, Cleveland and New England. But he faces Miami in Week 7, and the Dolphins are No. 8 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. And then he gets a revenge game against the Raiders in Week 8, with Las Vegas at No. 6 in most Fantasy points allowed to the position. Smith is worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAAB if you need a quarterback in deeper leagues.

Smith completed 20 of 30 passes for 252 yards with one touchdown and one interception while adding two rushes for minus-1 yard in the Jets' 26-19 loss to the Patriots on Sunday. Smith took three sacks while trying to play catch-up all afternoon, and in that context, his final numbers were all the more impressive. The veteran signal-caller helped the Jets claw back from a 17-3 halftime deficit to get within four entering the fourth quarter, but his interception at the Patriots' 24-yard line early in the period snuffed out a potential scoring opportunity. Smith has certainly given New York some much-needed veteran stability at the quarterback position and displayed encouraging chemistry with returning rookie Omar Cooper (6-103-1) on Sunday, so there's reason for optimism heading into a favorable Week 7 home matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday.
