  • Caleb Wilson PF | CHI

Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Full stat line in loss

Wilson finished Friday's 125-111 loss to the Celtics with 23 points (7-16 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 3-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 31 minutes.

Wilson impressed in his first NBA Cup game, leading the Bulls in scoring while reaching the 20-point threshold for the fourth time across six regular-season appearances. The rookie No. 4 overall pick also doubled his previous career high in three-pointers made after shooting 22.2 percent from deep in his previous five appearances. He made an impact on the defensive end as well, matching the game-high mark in blocks. Wilson has yet to record fewer than three combined steals-plus-blocks in a game this season.

  • Scottie Barnes PF | TOR

Raptors' Scottie Barnes: Erupts for career-high 41 points in loss

Barnes provided 41 points (19-34 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals across 39 minutes in Friday's 121-114 loss to the Magic.

Barnes wasn't shy about hunting his shot and finished with a game- and career-high scoring total, albeit in a losing effort in the Raptors' first NBA Cup game of the season. The star forward also paced the club in steals while dishing out at least five assists for the fourth time in five regular-season games. He's scored at least 23 points four times this season and should continue seeing increased usage in the absence of Kawhi Leonard (knee).

  • Anthony Davis PF | WAS

Wizards' Anthony Davis: Scores 25 points Friday

Davis finished with 25 points (8-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-10 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 34 minutes in Friday's 95-79 victory over the Hornets.

Davis had a quality game Friday to begin NBA Cup group play. He surpassed the 20-point mark for the third time this season, and he's also had at least one steal in each of the Wizards' six regular-season games of the 2026-27 campaign. Davis has shot a career-low 44.1 percent from the field this season, though he is still averaging a productive 22.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks over 33.3 minutes per contest.

  • Brandon Miller SG | CHA

Hornets' Brandon Miller: Scores team-high 19 points

Miller notched 19 points (7-24 FG, 3-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block across 37 minutes in Friday's 95-79 loss to the Wizards.

Miller was the only Charlotte player who surpassed the 15-point plateau in this game, but he delivered another woeful shooting performance. The inconsistencies have been an issue with Miller -- he has either stayed below the 20-point mark (three times) or cleared the 30-point mark (also three times) so far this season. Miller should remain one of the go-to options for the Hornets as long as he stays healthy.

  • Tyrese Maxey PG | PHI

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Paces Sixers in win

Maxey amassed 27 points (10-19 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-7 FT), four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block across 38 minutes in Friday's 98-93 win over the Knicks.

Maxey led the Sixers to a second victory in as many games against the Knicks this season, leading all players in scoring. The star point guard didn't have his best performance from the charity stripe, though he turned in an otherwise efficient shooting effort. He has yet to record fewer than 26 points and four assists in a game this season.

  • AJ Johnson PG | NO

Pelicans' AJ Johnson: Recalled from G League

The Pelicans recalled Johnson from the G League's Laketown Squadron on Friday.

New Orleans has some injuries on the roster, so the team presumably recalled Johnson to add depth. However, even if he remains with the Pelicans for a limited time, he likely won't be on the floor much.

  • Trevon Brazile PF | DEN

Nuggets' Trevon Brazile: Sliding to second unit

Brazile won't start Friday's game against the Suns.

The rookie got the starting nod in Wednesday's win over the Pelicans, but he'll slide back to the second unit Friday with Cameron Johnson (ankle) back in action. Brazile has averaged 9.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 0.7 blocks across 21.0 minutes per game in three outings off the bench this season.

  • Quentin Grimes SG | LAL

Lakers' Quentin Grimes: Not starting vs. Golden State

Grimes won't start Friday's game against the Warriors.

Luka Doncic (back) is in the lineup following a one-game absence, pushing Grimes to the second unit. In four appearances off the bench this season, he's averaging 7.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 24.3 minutes per contest.

  • Warriors' Georges Niang: Not starting Friday

Niang won't start Friday's game against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.

With Gui Santos (knee) back in the lineup, Niang will retreat to the second unit. He's averaged 6.0 points and 2.8 rebounds in 18.5 minutes per game across four outings off the bench this season.

  • Cason Wallace SG | OKC

Thunder's Cason Wallace: Undergoes shoulder surgery Friday

Wallace underwent surgery Friday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder and will be re-evaluated before the end of the regular season, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Wallace is expected to miss most, if not all, of the season. However, there's still a chance he will return late in the campaign after sustaining the shoulder injury in Sunday's win over the Clippers. With Jalen Williams (leg) also set to be re-evaluated before the end of the regular season, Alex Caruso (ankle) should see significant playing time once cleared to return. In the meantime, Jared McCain, Bennett Stirtz and Josh Dix are expected to see increased burn.
