  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Quiet offensively once again

Grimes produced seven points (1-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 108-102 loss to the Knicks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Grimes led the bench in minutes once again. However, he didn't do much with the opportunity, contributing only seven points. With a combined 12 points in the last two games, the 25-year-old will look to turn it around in Game 3 on Friday night. While Grimes can get hot from a production standpoint, his volatility on the scoring end doesn't make him an appealing option for fantasy managers, even with the potential for more offensive opportunities if Joel Embiid (hip, ankle) misses another game.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Quiet again offensively Saturday

Grimes produced three points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and four assists over 26 minutes during Saturday's 109-100 win over the Celtics in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Grimes logged 26 minutes off the bench in this contest, more than the rest of the reserves combined. However, he scored only three points, his second-lowest mark of the postseason. The 25-year-old averaged 7.1 points, 3.4 rebound and 2.3 assists across 22.4 minutes in the series with the Celtics. While Grimes should continue to get plenty of work in the second round versus the Knicks, his lack of consistency on the scoring end is an issue for fantasy managers.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Pops for 18 points in victory

Grimes ended with 18 points (5-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and one block over 24 minutes during Tuesday's 113-97 victory over Boston in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Grimes built on his previous effort, scoring 18 points Tuesday, the most he has scored thus far in the playoffs. After struggling in the opening three games, he has now notched a total of 30 points in his past two appearances, providing the 76ers with a much-needed offensive threat off the bench. He will look to continue on an upward trend when the two teams meet again in Game 6, this time on Philadelphia's home court.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Poor production continues

Grimes recorded two points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one block in 15 minutes during Friday's 108-100 loss to the Celtics in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Grimes has chosen the worst time to go cold from the floor, having now scored a total of just 15 points during this series. During that three-game span, he has averaged just 5.0 points and 1.0 three-pointers in 20.1 minutes per contest. If Philadelphia hopes to force the series into a sixth or even seventh game, the team will likely need more from Grimes.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Modest production continues

Grimes logged six points (2-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one block over 21 minutes during Tuesday's 111-97 victory over the Celtics in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Grimes continues to be more of a passenger than a valuable contributor, scoring no more than seven points for the sixth time in his past eight games. While this was an impressive road victory, Grimes may have to find something on the offensive end if Philadelphia hopes to push Boston all the way. The two teams will now head to Philadelphia for Game 3 on Friday.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Hits for 20 points from bench

Grimes ended with 20 points (7-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal in 28 minutes during Sunday's 126-106 win over Milwaukee. With most of the first unit taking a seat in the second half, Grimes was able to take over the backcourt and show his stuff. Grimes would likely be a starter for most teams in the league, and he displayed his playmaking in 19 starting appearances this season. We may not see much from Grimes in Tuesday's Play-In Game against Orlando, but he'll provide solid second-unit support when needed. Grimes finishes the regular season with averages of 13.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 0.9 steals over 75 games played.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Pops for 20 off bench Thursday

Grimes supplied 20 points (7-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds and one steal over 26 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 113-102 loss to Houston. It's the first time since March 21 that the fifth-year guard has scored at least 20 points. Grimes has returned to the second unit with Tyrese Maxey back in action, and over the last seven games off the bench, he's averaging just 9.4 points, 3.0 boards, 1.4 assists and 1.1 threes in 25.0 minutes.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Not starting Saturday

Grimes won't start Saturday's game against the Hornets, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports. With Tyrese Maxey (finger) back in the lineup following a 10-game absence, Grimes will retreat to the second unit. Over six appearances off the bench since the All-Star break, the 25-year-old guard has averaged 12.2 points, 2.5 assists and 2.2 rebounds across 26.3 minutes per tilt.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Displays defensive chops in win

Grimes logged 13 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks over 31 minutes during the 76ers' 157-137 win over the Bulls on Wednesday. Grimes filled up the box score in Wednesday's blowout win, especially on the defensive end of the floor, where he set a season high with six combined steals and blocks. He took a bit of a step back offensively, scoring less than 15 points for just the third time in his last 10 outings, but that was to be expected due to the returns of both Joel Embiid (oblique) and Paul George (suspension). Even as the fourth option, Grimes demonstrated his value to the Sixers on both ends of the floor as the team looks to improve its standing ahead of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Out Monday

Grimes (illness) won't play Monday against Oklahoma City, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. Grimes was added to the injury report as questionable earlier in the day due to an illness, and the Sixers have since determined that he won't go Monday evening. His absence will open up more opportunities in the backcourt for MarJon Beauchamp and Cameron Payne.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Questionable for Monday

Grimes (illness) is questionable for Monday's game against the Thunder. Grimes was a very late addition to the injury report. He's been pulling a lot of weight for the 76ers lately with 33.9 minutes per game over his last eight contests. If he's sidelined, MarJon Beauchamp and Jabari Walker would be candidates for increased roles.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Scores season-high 31 points

Grimes chipped in 31 points (11-22 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals over 40 minutes during Sunday's 109-103 victory over the Trail Blazers. The 76ers were without star players Tyrese Maxey (finger), Joel Embiid (oblique) and Paul George (suspension), but Grimes stepped up and not only carried Philadelphia to victory, but he posted a season-high mark in scoring. Grimes has scored 20-plus points in four of his last six appearances, a stretch in which he's averaging 23.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Team-high 17 points

Grimes chipped in 17 points (6-13 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and three assists across 36 minutes during Monday's 115-101 loss to Cleveland. Grimes led the 76ers with 17 points, playing at least 30 minutes for the third straight game. While it has been a disappointing campaign for Grimes, injuries to both Tyrese Maxey (finger) and VJ Edgecombe (back) could see Grimes playing a sizeable role for the foreseeable future. With another four games still to come this week, Grimes figures to be a popular short-term addition to just about any fantasy squad.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Drops 26 points Saturday

Grimes ended with 26 points (9-15 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Saturday's 125-116 loss to Atlanta. With VJ Edgecombe dealing with a lumbar contusion, Grimes is experiencing a surge in fantasy value. The 26 points were Grimes' most since the Nov. 30 defeat to the Hawks, and he's now posted at least 16 points in back-to-back games after being held to single digits in his prior three contests. Through 10 appearances as a starter in 2025-26, the 25-year-old swingman has averaged 12.8 points, 4.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 33.9 minutes per game.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Comes up clutch in fourth quarter

Grimes recorded 16 points (7-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 31 minutes during the 76ers' 106-102 win over the Jazz on Wednesday. Despite missing all four of his three-point attempts, Grimes still finished Wednesday's game as the Sixers' third-leading scorer behind Tyrese Maxey (25 points) and Jabari Walker (22 points). Grimes found the ball in his hands down the stretch of the fourth quarter, and after tying the game at 102-102 with a driving layup, he gave the 76ers the lead for good by nailing two clutch free throws. It was an encouraging performance from the 2021 first-rounder after he failed to reach double-digit points in each of his three prior outings. Grimes has started in the 76ers' last two games but could revert to a bench role against the Hawks on Saturday if one or both of VJ Edgecombe (back) and Kelly Oubre (illness) are cleared to return.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Joining starting five

Grimes is starting Tuesday's game against the Spurs, Austin Krell of OnPattison.com reports. Grimes will step into the starting lineup for Kelly Oubre, who is out Tuesday due to an illness. Grimes has seen substantial work off the bench of late, averaging 26.4 minutes in his last 10 appearances, and he could see an increase in his workload against San Antonio with Philly playing shorthanded.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Muted output in defeat

Grimes had five points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one rebound and two assists over 27 minutes during Sunday's 114-98 loss to the Celtics. After getting off to a hot start in 2025-26, Grimes is struggling to produce outside of the scoring department. Over his last six appearances, the swingman has averaged 12.2 points, 2.5 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 2.3 three-pointers in 26.1 minutes per game while shooting 42.4 percent from downtown.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Big offensive night

Grimes produced 19 points (7-12 FG, 5-8 3Pt), three rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 28 minutes during Sunday's 135-108 win over Minnesota. Grimes reached the 19-point mark Sunday for the first time since New Year's Day. He sank five threes against Minnesota, tying his best performance from downtown this year. With Paul George serving a 25-game suspension, Philadelphia may need to depend on Grimes having more games like this going forward.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Leads second unit in return

Grimes (illness) tallied 14 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block across 29 minutes Thursday in the 76ers' 117-107 loss to the Hawks. Grimes had missed the 76ers' final two games prior to the All-Star break while recovering from an illness, but he was able to reprise his normal role as the club's sixth man in its first game of the second half. The 25-year-old paced the second unit in scoring and made a rare contribution in the blocks category. With Paul George (suspension) out until March 25, Grimes should be able to maintain a 25-to-30-minute role off the bench, but fantasy managers in 12-team leagues or shallower should view him mainly as a streaming option for three-pointers and free-throw percentage rather than a must-roster player.

  • 76ers' Quentin Grimes: Won't play Wednesday

Grimes (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Knicks. Grimes will miss a second consecutive contest due to an illness, and he'll have until Feb. 19 against the Hawks to recover. With the 25-year-old guard unavailable, Kyle Lowry and Justin Edwards will likely continue to see an uptick in minutes, while Dalen Terry could enter the rotation.
