  • Noa Essengue PF | CHI

    Bulls' Noa Essengue: Starting Friday

Essengue (shoulder) will start Friday's Summer League game against Memphis.

Essengue underwent left shoulder surgery in December and had his rookie season cut short, but he will return to action in the Bulls' Las Vegas Summer League opener. He'll be joined in the first unit by Caleb Wilson, Dailyn Swain, Jaylin Sellers and Tobe Awaka.

  • Karim Lopez SF | MEM

Grizzlies' Karim Lopez: Won't play Friday

Lopez (hamstring) won't play in Friday's Las Vegas Summer League game versus the Bulls, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

Lopez missed all of the Salt Lake City Summer League, and although his absence has officially extended into Las Vegas, he's now being listed as day-to-day. His next chance to play will come Monday against the Mavericks.

  • Cameron Boozer PF | MEM

Grizzlies' Cameron Boozer: Good to go Friday

Boozer (rest) will play in Friday's Summer League game against the Bulls, Chuck Swirsky of the Bulls Radio Network reports.

Boozer sat out the Grizzlies' Salt Lake City Summer League finale for rest purposes, though he'll return to action against Caleb Wilson and the Bulls. Across 27 minutes in Monday's loss to the Jazz, Boozer posted 18 points (6-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal.

  • Micah Potter PF | POR

Trail Blazers' Micah Potter: Claimed by Trail Blazers

Potter was claimed off waivers by Portland on Friday.

Potter bounced around the league before spending most of the 2025-26 campaign in Indiana. In 47 regular-season appearances with the Pacers, he averaged 9.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.3 blocks and 0.5 steals across 19.3 minutes. It's unknown what kind of role Potter will have in Portland, though it's reasonable to assume the Trail Blazers acquired him for depth purposes.

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Agrees to max extension

Wembanyama signed a five-year, $252 million extension with the Spurs on Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Wembanyama is officially set to remain with the Spurs for the foreseeable future after signing a maximum rookie-scale extension with a player option in the final year. He was eligible for the supermax but opted for the max, giving San Antonio added financial flexibility. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year is fresh off a dominant 2025-26 campaign in which he averaged 25.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 3.1 blocks and 1.0 steals across 64 regular-season games (55 starts). Wembanyama was incredible in the postseason and will now look to lead the Spurs back to the NBA Finals.

  • Ryan Conwell PG | MIA

Heat's Ryan Conwell: Another productive showing Friday

Conwell finished with 19 points (7-16 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, three assists and one block across 27 minutes in Friday's 119-86 Summer League win over Milwaukee.

Conwell played well in the California Classic Summer League and carried the momentum over into Friday, tying Jahmir Young with a game-high 19 points. Conwell was selected in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft after spending his final college season at Louisville in 2025-26. In 34 appearances with the Cardinals, including two NCAA Tournament games, he averaged 18.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.2 blocks and 1.1 steals over 30.9 minutes. While Conwell already appears prepared to compete at the NBA level, his standing in the rotation could improve if he continues to play well throughout the rest of Summer League.

  • Bucks' Kasparas Jakucionis: Scores 11 points in SL loss Friday

Jakucionis finished with 11 points (2-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one steal over 21 minutes in Friday's 119-86 Summer League loss to Miami.

Jakucionis played sparingly throughout his inaugural 2025-26 NBA season with the Heat. However, the 20-year-old still had sporadic production, averaging 8.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.3 blocks and 0.8 steals while shooting 45.8 percent in 12 regular-season starts. Although Jakucionis has already demonstrated he can play a meaningful role when needed, he could continue to struggle for consistent playing time in Milwaukee. Still, with Tyler Herro (foot) and Kevin Porter (knee) known for durability issues, the door is open for Jakucionis to carve out a path to playing time.

  • Jalen Slawson SF | IND

Pacers' Jalen Slawson: Swats five shots in SL win

Slawson supplied 15 points (4-15 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists, five blocks and one steal across 23 minutes in Friday's 99-93 Summer League win over the Cavaliers.

Slawson got off to a slow start in this one, shooting 0-for-4 from downtown in the opening quarter. While he finished with inefficient shooting splits, the 26-year-old forward stuffed the stat sheet and was still Indiana's third-leading scorer. Slawson also led all players in blocks and assists while finishing third on the Pacers in rebounds.

  • Meleek Thomas PG | CLE

Cavaliers' Meleek Thomas: Scores 20 points in SL loss

Thomas tallied 20 points (7-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal across 27 minutes in Friday's 99-93 Summer League loss to the Pacers.

Thomas scored six points on 1-of-3 shooting from the floor in the first half before erupting for 14 points during the second, including 12 in the fourth quarter alone. The 34th overall pick in this year's draft tied for the game high in scoring in his Summer League debut, and he also tied for second on the Cavaliers in rebounds. The 19-year-old guard out of Arkansas isn't guaranteed a consistent role in the Cleveland rotation as a rookie, as he's buried behind guys like Sam Merrill, Max Strus and Craig Porter.

  • Jahmir Young PG | MIA

Heat's Jahmir Young: Drops 19 points in SL win

Young tallied 19 points (8-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven assists, two rebounds and two steals across 20 minutes in Friday's 119-86 Summer League win over the Bucks.

Young sat out Miami's final California Classic game for rest purposes but returned for the team's Las Vegas Summer League opener. The 25-year-old point guard came off the bench and tied for the game-high mark in points. He also led all players in assists and was one of four Heat players to log multiple steals.
