KJ Simpson PG | DEN
Nuggets' KJ Simpson: Scores 17 points in loss
Simpson finished with 17 points (4-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block across 30 minutes in Friday's 97-86 Summer League loss to Houston.
Simpson has spent most of his NBA career in Charlotte, appearing in 50 regular-season games after being drafted in 2024. While he wasn't a consistent producer for the Hornets, he averaged 11.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.1 blocks in 17 career starts for the club. He signed a two-way contract with the Nuggets shortly after being waived by the Hornets in February, though he played in only six regular-season games. Simpson seemingly has a ways to go before earning the trust of the Nuggets' coaching staff, but if he plays well during Summer League and training camp, the door is open for an expanded role at some point in 2026-27.

Bryce Hopkins SF | DEN
Nuggets' Bryce Hopkins: Scores 24 points with five stocks
Hopkins totaled 24 points (9-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT), four rebounds, three steals and two blocks over 26 minutes during Friday's 97-86 Las Vegas Summer League loss to the Rockets.
The 2026 second-round pick led the Nuggets' Summer League squad in scoring, and he racked up five stocks in just 26 minutes of play. Hopkins will look to keep rolling Saturday versus the Timberwolves.

Bruce Thornton PG | HOU
Rockets' Bruce Thornton: Strikes for 27 points in SL win
Thornton tallied 27 points (7-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 7-7 FT), three rebounds, three assists and three steals across 35 minutes in Friday's 97-86 Summer League win over the Nuggets.
Thornton was aggressive hunting his shot and got to the charity stripe often in the Rockets' Summer League debut, finishing with a game-high 27 points. The Ohio State product also matched the game-high mark in steals. The 31st overall pick in this year's draft has a chance to carve out a role off the bench, but he isn't guaranteed consistent minutes following the signing of Marcus Smart.
-
Isaiah Crawford SF | HOU
Rockets' Isaiah Crawford: Scores 17 points with six stocks
Crawford racked up 17 points (5-16 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocks over 33 minutes during Friday's 97-86 Las Vegas Summer League win over the Nuggets.
It wasn't Crawford's most efficient game, but he piled up the counting stats and only committed one turnover in his 33 minutes of floor time. He was on a two-way deal with the Rockets last season, appearing in 14 regular-season games and averaging 2.0 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.6 minutes per contest.

Chucky Hepburn PG | TOR
Raptors' Chucky Hepburn: Starting Friday
Hepburn (knee) will start Friday's Summer League game against Boston, Zulfi Sheikh of Sportsnet reports.
Hepburn will return to game action after undergoing surgery Jan. 8 to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. He appeared in two regular-season games for the Raptors during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 0.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.5 steals over 6.5 minutes per tilt. He is signed to a two-way contract and will need to impress throughout Summer League if he hopes to earn more playing time with Toronto in 2026-27.

Collin Murray-Boyles PF | TOR
Raptors' Collin Murray-Boyles: Won't play Friday
Murray-Boyles (finger) has been ruled out for Friday's Summer League game against the Celtics, Zulfi Sheikh of Sportsnet reports.
Murray-Boyles will miss the Raptors' Las Vegas Summer League opener due to a sprained finger. His next chance to suit up will come in Saturday's meeting with Houston.
-
Alijah Martin SG | TOR
Raptors' Alijah Martin: Won't play Friday
Martin is out for Friday's Las Vegas Summer League game against the Celtics due to knee inflammation, Zulfi Sheikh of Sportsnet reports.
Martin is dealing with some minor knee soreness, so the Raptors will hold him out of the first leg of this back-to-back set. His next chance to play will come Saturday against the Rockets.

Danny Wolf C | BKN
Nets' Danny Wolf: Modest showing in SL win Friday
Wolf (back) finished with nine points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one block across 21 minutes in Friday's 91-65 Summer League win over the Knicks.
It wasn't a great performance from Wolf, but it was still an encouraging showing considering he wasn't available for the California Classic because of a back issue. The 22-year-old appeared in 57 regular-season games during his rookie 2025-26 campaign, and he averaged 10.2 points, 2.3 assists, 6.3 rebounds, 0.8 blocks and 0.7 steals over 26.0 minutes in 15 starts. Looking ahead to next season, Julius Randle, who was acquired from Minnesota in June, has a firm grasp on the power forward position, while Day'Ron Sharpe is the favorite to start at center. However, Wolf should have an opportunity to see consistent playing time in the rotation throughout the 2026-27 campaign.
-
Pacome Dadiet PF | NY
Knicks' Pacome Dadiet: Drops 20 points in SL loss
Dadiet provided 20 points (6-16 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds and one steal across 21 minutes in Friday's 91-65 Summer League loss to the Nets.
Although Dadiet struggled mightily from beyond the arc, he was aggressive hunting his shot and tied for the game-high mark in scoring. The 20-year-old swingman was one of just two Knicks players to score in double figures and also led the club in rebounds. He isn't likely to see consistent playing time for the defending champions in 2026-27 after totaling 47 regular-season appearances in his first two seasons in the Association.
-
Nae'Qwan Tomlin PF | CLE
Cavaliers' Nae'Qwan Tomlin: Ties for game-high 20 points
Tomlin finished with 20 points (8-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block across 29 minutes in Friday's 99-93 Summer League loss to Indiana.
Tomlin tied Meleek Thomas with a game-high 20 points Friday, though it wasn't enough to lead the Cavaliers to victory. Tomlin appeared in 64 regular-season games for Cleveland during the 2025-26 campaign and averaged 16.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 24.7 minutes in three starts. Tomlin might not suit up for the entirety of Cleveland's Las Vegas stint. However, he may have already done enough to secure the his spot on the depth chart behind Evan Mobley, especially with Dean Wade now in Philadelphia.
