  • Drake Powell SG | BKN

Nets' Drake Powell: Bounces back with 18 points Tuesday

Powell finished with 18 points (6-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, two steals and one block across 21 minutes in Tuesday's 115-83 Summer League win over the Kings.

Powell combined for just five points in his first two Las Vegas Summer League appearances. However, he turned it around Tuesday to finish second on the team in scoring behind Egor Demin, who ended with 22 points. Powell, the 2025 No. 22 overall pick, had a few quality performances in his 63 regular-season appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, though he was unproductive more often than not. While the 20-year-old is still adjusting to life at the NBA level, he will be expected to play better in 2026-27.

  • Emanuel Sharp PG | SAC

Kings' Emanuel Sharp: Rips away four steals in 23 minutes

Sharp racked up 23 points (7-12 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, four steals and one block over 23 minutes during Tuesday's 115-83 Las Vegas Summer League loss to the Nets.

It was the Sharp and Darius Acuff Show on Tuesday, as the rookie duo combined for 49 of Sacramento's 83 points. Sharp caught fire from deep, knocking down a game-high six three-pointers, and he was a disruptive force on the defensive end, finishing with six stocks. However, with little offensive support from the rest of the roster, the Kings were blown out for the second straight game in Las Vegas.

  • Egor Demin PG | BKN

Nets' Egor Demin: Leads Nets in scoring Tuesday

Demin (rest) finished with 22 points (5-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and four steals across 23 minutes in Tuesday's 115-83 Summer League win over Sacramento.

Demin didn't play in Saturday's meeting with the Hawks, but he was back in action Tuesday. He finished with a team-high 22 points, though he shot an inefficient 1-for-5 from behind the arc. However, outside of Demin's shooting woes from downtown, he reached the 20-point mark in his second consecutive Las Vegas Summer League appearance. The 20-year-old averaged 10.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.3 blocks and 0.8 steals while shooting 38.5 percent from deep over 25.2 minutes in 52 regular-season games before his inaugural campaign ended abruptly because of a foot injury. With that in mind, as long as Demin stays healthy in 2026-27, he should have more opportunities to build on his production from his rookie year.

  • Kings' Darius Acuff: Busts out with 26 points

Acuff produced 26 points (9-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five assists, one steal and one block over 26 minutes during Tuesday's 115-83 Las Vegas Summer League loss to the Nets.

Acuff bounced back nicely, recording his first 20-point game in Las Vegas after scoring 12 points on 4-of-14 shooting in his previous outing. It'll be worth monitoring whether he plays Wednesday against the Celtics, as it's the second game of a back-to-back.

  • Nets' Mikel Brown: Contributes 16 points in return

Brown (rest) logged 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block over 19 minutes in Tuesday's 115-83 Summer League win over the Kings.

Brown was held out of Saturday's game against the Hawks due to rest purposes but was back in action Tuesday, when he finished second on the Nets in assists and as the team's third-leading scorer behind Egor Demin (22 points) and Drake Powell (18 points). Brown was the sixth-overall pick of the 2026 NBA Draft, but his playing time could be inconsistent in his rookie season given the number of young guards on the Nets' roster such as Demin, Powell, Ben Saraf and Nolan Traore, as well as fifth-year pro Keon Ellis.

  • Bruce Thornton PG | HOU

Rockets' Bruce Thornton: Another quality performance Tuesday

Thornton finished with 18 points (5-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals across 26 minutes in Tuesday's 90-64 Summer League victory over the 76ers.

Thornton had another quality performance Tuesday, reaching the double-digit scoring mark in his third consecutive Las Vegas Summer League appearance. He also had two steals, bringing his total to 10 during that span. The 22-year-old was drafted in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft after spending his collegiate career at Ohio State. While Thornton has shown signs of promise, he may need more time before he's ready for consistent action at the professional level.

  • Ajay Mitchell SG | OKC

Thunder's Ajay Mitchell: Progressing in recovery

In an appearance on ESPN.com on Tuesday, Mitchell relayed that he is "close to being back to 100 [percent]" in his recovery from a right calf strain.

Mitchell was forced to miss the final four games of the Western Conference Finals against San Antonio after straining his right calf in Game 3. The 2024 second-rounder was a key piece to the Thunder's rotation and even started in seven of 11 playoff games. In his absence, Oklahoma City lost three of the next four WCF games, including Game 7 that sent San Antonio to the NBA Finals against New York. Mitchell has primarily come off the bench in his first two years in the NBA, but given his strong postseason play, it's possible that he supplants Luguentz Dort for a spot in the starting backcourt next to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Labaron Philon PG | PHI

76ers' Labaron Philon: Team-high 17 points in SL loss

Philon finished Tuesday's 90-64 Summer League loss to the Rockets with 17 points (7-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block over 28 minutes.

Philon was one of the lone bright spots for the 76ers in Tuesday's blowout loss and led his team in both points in assists. He's averaged 19.7 points per game across three Summer League appearances, and he should provide the 76ers a solid scoring punch off the bench behind Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe, with Anfernee Simons being Philon's top competition for playing time.

  • Grizzlies' Walter Clayton: Won't play Tuesday

Clayton (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Summer League game against the Warriors, Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

Clayton continues to work through a right knee sprain that has kept him out of Summer League action both in Salt Lake and in Las Vegas. His next chance to play is Thursday against the Hawks, but the Grizzlies will likely keep Clayton sidelined to avoid an injury aggravation. Even with the lack of playing time, the 2025 first-rounder figures to see consistent minutes in his sophomore campaign, especially after the Grizzlies traded Ja Morant (elbow) to the Trail Blazers in late June.

  • Karim Lopez SF | MEM

Grizzlies' Karim Lopez: Won't play Tuesday

Lopez (hamstring) won't play in Tuesday's Summer League game against the Warriors, per Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal.

The Grizzlies continue to take a cautious approach while the rookie first-rounder nurses a strained hamstring this summer. The expectation is that Lopez will be available before the Summer League concludes, with his next chance to play coming Thursday against Atlanta.
