Maxey recorded 22 points (7-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), three rebounds, six assists and a steal across 30 minutes in Friday's 125-120 preseason loss to the Celtics.
Maxey delivered an efficient offensive performance, converting seven of his 11 field-goal attempts to finish second in scoring -- behind Joel Embiid -- while leading the 76ers with six assists. He also committed four turnovers, but his ability to generate offense as both a scorer and facilitator should mitigate the ball-security issues he might deal with, though that also comes with having a high usage rate. At the end of the day, Maxey's scoring efficiency and playmaking should continue to make him one of Philadelphia's most valuable fantasy contributors heading into the regular season.

Walker provided a productive performance off Philadelphia's bench to close out a strong preseason. Although Walker struggled with his long-range shot -- an issue that also affected him in the 2025-26 regular season -- he compensated with solid defensive activity and four rebounds. His 13 points were the most among Philadelphia's reserves, and Walker's ability to contribute in multiple categories could help his case for a regular rotation role, though his fantasy value remains dependent on consistent minutes.

Embiid finished with 27 points (7-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 11-13 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block over 29 minutes in Friday's 125-120 preseason overtime loss to Boston.
Embiid didn't play when these two clubs met Saturday but was on the floor for the rematch. He had four turnovers, though he was still the most productive starter overall for Philadelphia on Friday night. The 2023 MVP finished the 2025-26 campaign by averaging 26.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals across 31.6 minutes per contest. However, he was limited to 38 regular-season games. Embiid should still be considered one of the top players in the NBA, but his health will be a significant concern for the rest of his career.
